After yesterdays 37 degree caching trip I decided to wait until the afternoon after the cool change had come through before I headed out for a couple of hours today.
It was a much more pleasant 25 degrees so I decided to do a few multis and ended up finding 6 and DNFing 1 of them.
There were still plenty of people around here even after the cool change. The clue gathering was easy but then I had about a 10 minute wait at GZ before I was clear of muggles to make the grab.
Thanks dagobert1 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I'd started this cache in January when here and had to leave it. Today was the day when I ha da chance to revisit. It was a brilliant day with heaps of people walking along the path. Jet skies abound! Luckily it was all quiet at GZ!

We are over ftom WA visiting friends in Carrum. Our friends are quite new to geocaching and could not find the cache 50m from their home so we decided to go together. No wonder they could not find it as it was a multi so no box hidden here and we explained how to get to the next stage. A nice walk on a sunny morning and no problems finding all waypoints. At the final wp we searched for a couple of minutes before we had the cache in hand. An easy and well executed cache. Tftc dagobert1

I'll be honest here, in cricketing terms, I played all around this one. It's not a difficult multi, all the stages are there and the cache is nicely in place. I don't know, I just made a total meal of it!
WP1: Picked up the info over a year ago but must have gone wrong and couldn't find the next stage. D'oh!
WP2: Eventually worked this out and was able to carry on.
WP3: Having changed jobs I pass close by on a daily basis so stopped off in the rain one day to check. WP4: Weather might have affected my brain on the last stage as when I stopped again a few weeks later I clearly had bungled the numbers and found myself on the wrong side of a water course. After a revisit to WP3 I straightened up and finally had what I needed at WP4.
At GZ I had to time my actions between the muggles but finally I had the cache in hand.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for an entertaining multi cache dagobert1.

I've been tying up a few loose ends this week. And this is another multicache I attempted within the first week or so of signing up here; somewhere around mid-August I'd say. Visited all the waypoints fairly swiftly and identified GZ. But there was too much pedestrian traffic for me to undertake much of a search at that time. I think I returned another time, or several times, but was similarly constrained. It's been so long now that I'd mis-remembered this as a micro, potentially a bison tube, when I arrived around dawn today. But it's definitely a 'small' cache, as I discovered upon sitting down almost immediately beside it. I suspect my early searches tended to be focused a few metres further along, for no obvious reason; clearly I need to leave the gadget at home more often! Thanks dagobert for the cache and for prompting me to visit some local features I'd barely contemplated before.
Seen that multi near my holiday house for number of years, yet never tried, excusing myself with lack of free time.
Must admit, I pinned all WP's online (except GZ, of course), thanks to Google Maps, Panoramio and a bit of own knowledge of the area: was living here from 2007 (and keep coming back annually for Xmas vacations).

Finally found this one! And what an adventure it was. This is one of the nearest caches to my new home and I'm so happy I finally had the time to find it after discovering it had been muggled previously. TFTC
I think this one was muggled. I followed all the instructions, yet at GZ there was a heap of used needle wrappers and loads of other rubbish. For this reason I recommend extreme caution if you're searching with Geokids and Geodogs.
I searched high and low and was a bit reluctant about sticking my hands in some unknown place. Maintenance needed!

We had the right GZ location despite the operations clue not making sense... The clue confirmed this... But could not find it. There was loads of rubbish and it seems like a popular area, with many makeshift smoking apparatus and contraception wrappers... The general area is beautiful, but disappointed about not finding this one.
A nice wee walk after visiting friends nearby. I worked today so just wanted some fresh air. No issues with the questions and found the cache easily. Its in great nick except for the bag but should prove no issues. Thanks for the walk and showing me a bit of the area. Tftc
After a walk around today, we finally found the cache. Path along river damaged by the recent storms, so thought we would have trouble getting to cache . But luckily cache all ok.
Lovely wander with the Geokids. Live nice and closer to here, great to finally knock this one off. Took: pterodactyl, left: beach buggy
Parks, playgrounds and the beach side caches are always easier to do on days like today, so Nut bear and I took advantage of the cooler weather to find more in this great area.
This was a great little multi and we enjoyed the walk from WP to WP. It wasn't long before we had the coords for GZ where a quick find was made.
Thanks dagobert1 for the cache and the lovely walk.

Another great find for the day on an enjoyable caching adventure with BorisB&Natasha. Our aim for the day was to pick up a few multis and mystery caches that had been solved.
Enjoyed the walk through this lovely area and all WP's were gathered with ease. Once at GZ the cache was soon spotted.

Out for some caching in my lunch break and my drive is getting further and further now! Today was not too bad to spend a while by the water so stopped off here and collected the clues methodically. At GZ the cache was instantly visible which concerns me, as if the council cleaned up this area, they may mistake the cache for rubbish. Still safe for now though, thanks for the walk dagobert1!

Such a great day for a walk. Gathered all of the info during this pleasant stroll along the water. Miss calculated the GZ, but soon got back on track and had the cache signed and tucked bake safely in its hide. TNLNSL. TFTC. Kems
on the way hospital visit my daughter and baby Dexter...nice river thru from beach ..
As visitors to this beautiful part of the world, this nice multi took us to some pretty parts of the area as well as educating us. We saw some brave or stupid (you choose) lads jumping off the bridge. Co-ords were perfect. A well thoughtout multi. SL TFTC
Headed down south to visit family on this wet day. I'd did some workings before my visit but needed to come on site to confirm my suppositions. I had to negotiate some path works on my journey but no real dramas, the rain wasn't too bad and helped keeped the muggles away (unlike the mad sports muggles out at the sporting grounds...) I soon had GZ coordinates and was able to make a quick find - extraction and replacement was a bit slower though being a little tight and fiddly. TFTC
Checked cache today after a lot of building activities were
around for some time. The cache is still there and unharmed
by the activities however, I thought it a good idea to change
the hint.

Found at 5:30 PM GAFF3. On a beautiful afternoon with a slight breeze we loved finding the clues in this lovely area. We used to launch our boat from here many years ago.
The final took a bit of finding even though theco-ords were spot on.

Awesome multi -
Mostly done in the comfort of the car Enjoyed watching the many walks of life enjoying our Australia day celebrations.
GZ - Although hidden from sight..... BUT was exposed. Re-cammoed with natural material.
Thx again dagobert we're enjoying your hides & as always spot on coords..... they make all the difference from an average hide to a good one.

We started at wp1 and navigated to what we thought was wp2 but this was either too cryptic for us or our coords were a bit off. Am using the iPhone and the Groundspeak app for coords. Found wp3 as we knew the area and navigated to the final destination. Certainly the gps took me right over near the fence but I would caution others as there is quite a lot of rubbish in this area, condom wrappers and came across a sharps container in the trees. Keep away from the tree area.

Find # 1382
Today I decided on a mini cache run in the Patterson Lakes, Carrum Downs and Seaford areas. It was a very overcast day, but luckily no rain about.
After two previous DNF's, I headed to this one with some High hopes and determination. First thing I had to do was find a FREE car park spot as most of the parking in the area was ticket parking. Anyway, having done that, I ventured around this cache to all the various locations. This cache was fun, very clear instructions and nice easy workings. When I eventually arrived at GZ, I had to wait for a couple of muggles to pass by before my search. Eventually I located the nice easy find.
Thanks to dagobert1 for the cache. TNLN.

DNF. The secretary at WP1 is now a male. No idea if the phone number is still correct, but WP2 took us to a location that did not fit with the puzzle.
I had gathered the start information for this one some time back on a night time run through the area, but thought it was going to take too long to complete so abandoned the attempt at that time. Now having completed the cache, it doesn't take that long and could have been completed in 15 minutes. As I was leaving the memorial area, the Council parking patrol parked right next to my car and as she lept out of her car I lept into mine. Fine avoided!!! We drove to the final WP to avoid the fine. thanks for the cache dagobert1.
The crib's second find & first multi, a bit harder with the waypoint use and gps accuracy! Cheers
I pass by this way quite regularly on trips to visit my parents, but on the way down, I don't usually have time, and on the way home, it's usually dark and I'm keen to get home. Today I was down for lunch and so, on my way home, it was neither dark nor did I need to rush home, so it seemed like an ideal time to go searching.
At the published co-ordinates, the secretary's name was male, and not female, so I wondered whether the required phone number was still ok to use. Fortunately it was. From there it was easy going. At GZ, the cache was quickly spotted due to some of its paint has come off and stands out a bit more than normal. Thanks, dagobert1, for an enjoyable walk and for the cache.

This cache has been on my list for completion for a while as I already had most on the WP info from previous times. Got the last WP and the required info then it was off to GZ where I found the cache right where it was supposed to be. Really ejoyed the multi and the walks as well. Thanks for the hide.
Nice walk along the beach and the river. Found it, although someone decided to use the cache site as a toilet ... :-

StephanieK was competing a competition just on the other side of the river this morning. I was able to wander along, and enjoyed gathering all the clues. When I arrived at GZ, I was drawn to a location, but couldn't see the cache, so took a quick breath, turned around and there it was. Thanks dagobert1 for the cache.

We followed all the info around the bay, whilst dodging all the fisherman that were there today. Found all the info as required and soon we were at GZ where after a bit of a poke around we managed to find the cache. Signed the log and then we were off. Thanks dagobert1 for the cache.
Parked close to the spot marked at WP1, and a short walk to the sailing club was stopped by Ian himself. Replied, I was looking for the contact number for the female secretary, he told me that would be the next club along the bay. Clue in hand proceeded to next two way points after which aborted the cache. On this day, final coordinate of GZ in hand for a nice find. TFTC

I am often wary of mutli's with a number of waypoints, in part because it can be too easy for one point to go astray. However this one was fine (although the gender at WP1 might need checking) Each point was not too far and was easy to do. GZ took me longer than I had hoped but as I was standing around with the cache in hand the owner appeared!

Parked south of the metred parking in a free spot.
Waked backed to clue one and got girly Ian's phone number.
Then the clues kept taking me further and further away from the car, and the rain threatened to come down at any moment.
Found the cache after searching all the nearby hiding places which seemed to me to be much better than the location I found it in.
The ziplock bag is completely destroyed and seems to have gone very brittle for some reason.
The walk to the clues and the cache was very interesting and enjoyable, despite the cold wind and odd rain droplet.
The guy fishing under the bridge must have been freezing.
Thanks for the cache. I'm looking forward to the others when I have time to get a bit further down south.

Nifty little walk, although I had to rush back to where I'd parked when the parking nazis showed up. I took the wrong route to WP4, but then found the cache easily. took correct route back to the car. Thanks for the cache.
Not sure that the secretary (whose name is Ian) would be impressed with being called "her"!
The number seems to work fine though.
We spent a pleasant bit of time walking around doing this multi.
It was a great day for it.

*FTF* This one came up rather late at night and I was split between going out and staying home. The rain had stopped after the down poor in the daytime so at least it was not wet. After gathering the needed info I headed to the likely GZ and started my search. Had to be take caution not to disturb the close by neighbors that made the searching slow. Took me some time to come up with the container in a spot I did not expect to find it but the co-ords seemed spot on. TFTC
