Every time we have an event here we also hope to find a cache but seem to have a Kinloch cache curse lol
Took an afternoon stroll with hubby and found this, log completely unusable, wet and in soggy pieces, I didn't have anything on me to replace it.
A nice afternoon for a stroll while we were waiting for our friends to arrive for the weekend. The log needs replacing but a nice cache nonetheless. TFTC
Cool hiding spot and the start if a good series in a beautiful part of the world ☺
Simple find. The logbook is just some random note but it has been torn to shreds and been wet which made it very difficult to write on. It probably needs a new book.
Found along with Cats&Dragons on one of his infamous 'missions'. We had earlier paddled out to Mason Rock earth cache and had hoped to pick up some other Geocaches but ran out of time. I spotted this one, which wasn't hard as it was fully exposed. We hid it a lot better than we found it. The log was very wet and it was difficult to write our names on the log.
THis morning we had been out to Mason rock cache (with iammrwalker) for a paddle and now we were working out whether we would go for another nearby, however time was not on our side so we just grabbed this one.
We did a quick change of drivers (we hopped out and mrs Dragon drove between roundabouts till we got back up to the road)>
The cache was fully exposed and could be spotted from about 15m. The log has disintegrated and needs replacement. We covered up as best we could so that it can only been seen from about 3m now
thanks for the placement

Went back today to sign log book but there was no log book. Needs a bit of attention.
I couldn't find it either though I have on other occasions. Fear it might have been muggled.
Looked and looked but it wasn't there. Had a friend with me that has previously found it but she couldn't find it either. Maybe it has been muggled?
Wish I'd had some silica gel on me, a bit wet inside, but managed to sign the log. TFTC.
We found the cache sitting on top of the wall (just off the trail on the upstream side of the bridge). Re-hid the container at the base of the wall behind some grass. Replaced the plastic bag and left a temporary logbook. The container is too small for large swag so I left the goat etc on top.
Found it! Does need new paper though as it was all wet and soggy so couldn't write on it
Ziplock bag not keeping things dry, was full of water. Plastic box not waterproof either as the paper was soggy. In wrong location too. Is not at the bottom anymore.
Thank yo
u, great start to our walk! Log book a wee bit damp but were able to lig our find.

Found on an early morning bike ride, A bit like looking for a needle in a haystack. TFTC
All dry and in good order, hardly room for all the treasures, added another tiny one.

New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 9, Day trip around Lake Taupo. I had two looks here, but these types of hides often elude me. Thanks.

Smallest cache I've found so far (only my second day!) but man is it packed with treasure! TFTC
Nearly got muggled by two dog walkers, good to have a fancy phone as distraction! Nice little walk amongst tall pine trees. TFTC!
THFC. Found this and the other two on the trail while out walking with our kids.
On a wet day I started to develop cabin fever and had to go for a walk, caching gives me that excuse. TFTC
Cache not as indicated in clue. See previous comments. Nice spot for a walk.

Found during walk wit dogs in a very nice walkway along the small stream.
Took a while, but finally I found.

Parked close by then after getting this one carried on up the walkway along the stream for some other caches. A very pretty area.
Many thanks

Found the cache near the top of the the wall of rocks, not at the base. Replaced it where found. Should not be obvious where it is to muggles.
Cache visible from the path with no need for the hint (actually at the moment the hint does not correspond to the cache placement), but should remain undisturbed. Log is damp and a bit messy.
thank you Baba and Luke. Well placed on a popular track. I had walked this with local friends some time ago. TFTC
Hi added some loose pages from spiral notebook to serve as log book until jojojojojojo has a chance to replace. Cheers.
Found it while visiting NZ for X-mas with Family...
Took a quick trip out with geodaughter to nab this before dinner & while weather is fine
Nice quick find once GPS got it's act together

Found at 10:57 AM GAFF5 in the company of Phetlern. This one took a lot longer than it should have for a difficulty of 1.5. The grass has grown quite a bit around here!
Thanks jojojojojojo

Having parked our vehicles in close proximity to some yellow paint, we were hoping for a quick find with Pprass here. The search took a little longer than we expected so we had to peek at the hint. A large black dog bounced over to check on us, so it was a good feeling to on the move again.
TNLN . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt jojojojojojo.

Came to give a quote on a local job. Really hard pushed for time, so could only manage this one.
The iPhone was playing up and didn't want to narrow in on ground zero... so I had to take a guess. Found it through elimination. TFTC.

Mum took the kids out to explore the village for the day while dad was out playing golf. Success on both counts - the kids were excited to find a cache and Geocoin while dad was excited to break 90 at Kinloch! TFTC. #37
Found it on second look. Left a replacement 'emergency log book'. Also left a Geocoin trackable.
We were going for a drive and decided to stop off and see what the haps was in Kinloch. It was a quiet day but managed to find this cache. TFTC
Quick find on a sunny Sunday. Cache found in a very wet state. The log book is falling apart as it is saturated. Enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Kinloch. TFTC
What a lovely little cache. It took us with the mountain-bikes along a nice trail, which we would have otherwise missed. Logbook was somewhat damp, due to people not closing the lid properly. I left the Bilbo Beutlin cache, which I brought with me from Europe. This the Lord of the Rings ring, now well on its way to its destination! Thanks very much.
Cheated! Drove to it, as it was raining, and we had already walked 15km. TFTC
Requires some TLC. It has got soggy. Enjoyed the whangamata loop walk this afternoon, then the heavens opened up and we got soaked. The hot chocolate at the local cafe hit the spot.
Another visit to lovely Kinloch - so relaxing and peaceful here! Must be a fantastic place to live
My father used to launch his boat here when we lived in Putaruru
Found cache while doing the Whangamata Stream Walk on a clear but cold day

Quick find on a very nice an sunny Sunday in Kinloch Mountain Biking. Found on my way home, signed log. TFTC
Drained the water from the cache (half full).
recommended all caches be watertight - this one has no seal.
Log was damp, but still usable.

Lovely walkway - found a carpark in a driveway of a new dwelling, not yet underway. Yellow lines both sides of the road could not deter us.
Cache hunt took a while as we were searching for a small cache - found a micro sized cache half full of water. Log signed and replaced.
Enjoyed the walk, through the missing gate next to the stile, watched others use the stile!
