I liked the idea 5 years ago when I placed the cache.......but with water getting in and it not being put back as I intended, I think its time for this one to be to to bed as well...
T'was fun.......hope it gave a little smile to those who found it.....

The inside of the container is wet. ?the logbook is wet and everything inside the container is wet. Needs a good drying out, a new logbook and new zip lock bags.
This one has a bit of water leakage. One of your earlier designs. TFTC Sol de lune.
I came to Narrabundah Hill area for a bender on Sol De Lune caches on a warm morning on my way back from the scout camp at Cotter. It was a solo walk around the area, although I met two horse riders who I followed for a while grateful for any snake sweeping they might be doing. In the end it was 16 NRL's, 2 Christmas series and a couple of others for a bag of 20 today.
I saw a massive tree in the distance, so thinking that would be GZ I made a bee line for that and searched all the silver lining there (bark). Then I realised I was way off! I trudged over to the correct GZ and found some more silver.
Thanks Sol de Lune!
Cheers

We are staying in Canberra and decided that we would head off early and do this series and nearby caches. Enjoyed the stroll and the cloud cover helped keep the temperature down for a while. Thanks to Sol de lune for placing this cache.
Found this one between the two Xmas caches I was really here to get- but I was not going to just pass it by when it was so close! Went off the track and while geoman played with my new GPS, I tried to find the caching path to the cache via the trusty iPhone. There seemed to be several slight tracks, but they got lost at various points. Cache was found easily enough - no hanging around or circles for this one! TFTC SDL
Found 6:57 pm. Here with my geodaughter. Done my daily find now but now finding the others nearby to to the NRL series. We had parked nearby and set off on the bikes. I had to do a fair bit of coaxing for the geodaughter since she hasn't been on a bike for ages and now after some arguing she's starting to get better and ride a little quicker. In fact I kind of was impressed with how she went. It didn't take too much effort to find this one. Thanks for the cache.
Grabbed this one while I was in the neighbourhood. I recall my batteries ran out last time so I missed a couple.
Thx SDL.

Found at 3:37:00 PM in the company of dagwoodmcd. It was a nice day for a walk so we decided to see how many NRL caches we could find. This was one of the bonus caches that we found along the way.
Thanks Sol de lune.
Thanks Sol de lune.
Set out to grab the NRL series today with Mrs Team.Wallace and noticed the Silver Lining. Once at GZ, it was a quick find and I soon had the cache in hand and log signed. this was one of many on a very nice day. TFTC Sol de lune.
Today was too good a day for anything but some outdoors time with the geo kids. This area has been on our radar for a while, so we went for a walk around this area. Stunning views and a very quiet park!
This Geocache and the others we found were easy enough and the kids did some swaps. TFTC.

[^] Enjoyed walk around the Narrabundah Hill... Total 21 caches there... It is long walk... but enjoyed scene - see horse, cow, rabbit and birds but no kangaroos - must be hide from me... signed the log. Thanks SDL. [^] [^] [^]
Added to the loop while doing the NRL series on a lovely sunny winter day. Thanks.
Found on our way to do the rest of the NRL series today. Similar to the other cache we just found, thanks!
#1572 - 18:10; Number eighteen of two dozen on a training run around Narrabundah Hill. I had completed all but one of the NRL series that I headed out here to get, but took a detour around the base of the hill to add to the days tally. Arrived at GZ and went around in circles for a bit trying to work things out. Checked a couple of spots without success, but then it dawned on me as I looked towards the heavens for my own silver lining and all became clear. After completing log signing duties and replacing the cache, it was off again along the track to pick up some more. TFTC Sol de lune
Weather was planned for an overcast day with slight drizzle now and then. Well that's just perfect for a bushwalk Plans were made during the week to kick off with the FurfacesLL ladies and specimenX to target the NRL series. specimenX had already completed this series but decided to join us for another trek around the area. Personally, I don't blame her as the company is awesome lol.
So after completing the NRL series, we swung past this one before making our way to the geomobile for a dinner and show. Cache was located quickly, cache signed and returned.
Thanks for the cache Sol de lune

We had arranged with Rapidlywild and specimenX to head out to Weston Creek to do the NRL series and collected this one on our way past and back to the car. TFTC SDL
Now we have to add the antics that occurred after we arrived back at the car as it is too good to leave out of our day’s adventure. We were all feeling a bit peckish and so we had decided to stop for lunch which we had prepared for us all. FFLL No 2 was busy playing tuckshop lady and passing out the food, when she could feel "things" crawling up her legs inside her pants. Realising she was standing in the huge bull ant track from the nest which we had parked the geomobile on top off, she took off up to the fence in full view and dropped the strides.....much to the amusement of the rest of the caching party, who at this stage was unaware of why she was doing that. Luckily she didn't sustain any bites. So todays adventures were luckily enough to get dinner and show which was not included in the admission price.

With The Rats trying to find #10,000 before July, steeba and I were easy to convince to come on a trip to Canberra to have a big day of raiding numbers. Despite the temperature hitting 37°C we still managed to find a lot of caches. Although it sure was testing in that heat.
Another welcome change on the nearby trail.
Cheers

Found on a quick overnight trip down to Canberra with The Rats and Hoojar.
Sol de lune has plenty of caches around here- another one whilst on the NRL series. TFTC!

Headed down to Canberra for a bit of caching with steeba and Hoojar. This was one of a few caches we found on a very hot day in Canberra.
With the temperature nudging 37deg the order of the day was plenty of water, shade with a bit of caching thrown in. Picked this one up as we did the NRL series
Thanks

Sixteenth cache search (but 15th find) with die Limbacher and his buddy Toby. We hope to do this series plus a few more in the area before they take off towards Adelaide after lunch.
Were still doing a fair bit of cross country walking about this stage only to discover more often than not that there was a track nearby. Pity none of us read your description properly Sol de lune (maybe that means me as the others are good at English but maybe not as good as I thought!) as we could have saved ourselves a fair bit of bush bashing today! Soon had log in hand and signed before replacing it carefully and heading off (again cross country) to a Partridge in a Pear Tree. TFTC Sol de lune. Your caches have certainly made the boys figures look good - 70 yesterday and now hoping for another 19 today!

What'll I do if I don't have a pen? One there, thank goodness. A gentle ride after tea. TFTC
We initially rode straight past this one but picked it up on the way back.
After a bit of a hike off the track the cache was quickly found.

I had to head to Canberra today for a meeting so I performed a quick upload of the GPSr before leaving home hoping that I might have some time after my meeting to do a bit of caching.
An early afternoon finish to my meeting meant I was able to head out to do a bit of caching and after having completed the nearby AFL series I decided I'd tackle the NRL series before the sun went down.
I stopped by to grab this one because it was just too close to let slip by and so following a short detour I had the cache in hand. A very simple yet effective camouflage made this one a little difficult to spot at first but after considering the options there was really only one place it could be.
Thanks Sol de lune for the cache.

Cache # 73 for today,
A Plan was hatched with JuSoJaRa and Diamantina Stars to go out for a day of Power trail blitzing. This included the 50 Places and NRL series. A 6.30 pick up meant we had a nice early start.
I beat Ju to the GZ while Ja stayed to look after the bikes. I ended up lying on the ground waiting for her rather then looking for the cache. I was so tired I could have slept there. Then she arrived so time to start looking around... Nice set up

Even further off the beaten track now. As with Red_V, wasn't where I thought it would be. TFTC.
Our assault on the Scouts Geocaching Comp continues here today with DRT and jusojara, our second power-trail for the day.
Left me to look after the bikes whole the other Team Members went and made the find with DRT. TFTC

Co-ords are alittle off, but this is what Geocaching is all about. Had alook around the area with Green-martian with not much luck. With 7 geocaches already found today and another 14 to go in today's search, I didn't have time to hang around. And then, yes, there it was. Signed log & replaced. Wind was starting to pick up. Rather cold too. Thanks.
484. Ah another series by Sol de lune, this felt rather deja vu like - especially after completing the nearby "Must see places" series. Thankfully I didn't return smelling and feeling like a bottle of Pine O Fresh... as much.
Dropped TB.
TFTC and the series once again Sol ! Your caches are always top notch and appreciated

What a beautiful sunny day to get out caching! I was in the area to do the nearby series. Took the TB.

GPSr had me in a slightly different spot before I checked the cache name... then easily found. Thanks.
spent a few hours hunting in this area with Darzee Di and the geodog. great views. tftc Sol de lune
TaurusSix and I got to this one and thought the cache was big enough for a GC I've been carrying. Except that I forgot to pack it.
Walked cross country in the dark because I didn't find a path in the dark, was not so bad except for the blackberrys. One at GZ was a nice quick find sure to the cache colour scheme.
Finally the suns comes out a bit, the rest of the day was quit grey. Now the area looks so different! Almost missed this one as it didn't come to me to look there??

We really liked this one - very silvery cache and tree. Left a lucky, but alas not silver, Chinese Feng Shui coin. TFTC 2BluFish
As I approached this cache I found foam with an aluminum foil covering lying around the path. I was pretty concerned that this was the silver lining and that all I was going to get was cloud. However, I found the actual cache and did CITO with the foil covered foam. TFTC
Nice one: tree is almost parallel to the ground but is still quite healthy, all things considered. TFTC.
An easy find off the track, with a short walk along the geotrail. Poor old tree-at least its silver lining is that it's still alive Love the colour of the cache. Thanks for another one Sol!
Well it still has a silver lining and cache but the tree has fallen and is no longer rooted to the spot, but probably has enough routes to stay at 30 degrees and survive. TFTC
Picked this one up on the ground and put it back where we thought it should be. Thanks sol de lune
was laying on the ground when found D: put it back in the silver-ish looking bush/tree,I'm assuming it was there given the title and camo, tftc
We went for a cache in the afternoon and a long walk. Found with Fraggle_rock, Wasptor & Hotwheels07. Thanks for the cache.
'2013: 11 Days In A Row' - After a couple of caches in Rivett, we picked up the three caches along this trail as sunset hit. A great little walk! We saw an echidna up close, and helped the spread of many grasses with the amount of seeds in our socks. Thanks for the enjoyable cache!
Another Canberra cache for today, and bit more walking, a hundred more grass seeds in the socks (tomorrow I'm wearing boots!!!)!! Found the silver in the silver.
Checking out some of the earlier logs made this a reasonably quick find. We knew where to hunt and it was just a matter of finding it! Another cache for our Canberra caching trip.
I had a brain fade on this one, I searched for about 15 minutes, then sat down to rid my socks of the more carnivorous seeds. I sat and wondered where I went wrong then realised I was staring at it. Very simple hide but almost had me beaten. Thanks Sol de lune
Ended up with a couple with a couple of socks full of grass seeds after this off the beaten track find. Our co-ords were off by several metres but the last log gave indication of what we should be looking for. TFTC.
