Didn't see the archiving but agree with decision. Too muggle prone for a cache even this size. It is a wonderful location but a bit too exposed to locals and council workers
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Didn't see it was offline, didn't find it, but what an amazing view. Well worth the DNF just for the view. TFTDNF. Haha.
We've checked this one today. Its gone. Mr Suncoast_Smith has convinced me to give it one more try so we'll replace it shortly. It shouldn't take long as we'll be in the area a lot this coming week.
We've only just gotten mobile this week after the birth of baby #3 so will now get onto checking the cache in the next couple of weeks. Its probably going to all end in archiving anyway as this site seems to be highly muggle prone.
Based on the DNFs we'll disable this till we can get there to check. Expecting an addition to the clan soon and semi out of action at the moment, so feel free to take a look for it in the meantime and let us know if you find it!
Fourth in a row .Maybe it's been muggled again.Needs checking. Thanks for bringing us here anyway. We enjoyed the views.
Had a good hunt for it and couldn't find either the cache, or the snake that was reported to be here Cheers Gav
I am starting to think I just was not meant to find this cache. The co-ords pointed to a likely area - but I didn't come up with anything. I widened my search.. and still nothing Maybe I am looking in the wrong place or something. TFTH Suncoast Smiths - will try again another day
Certainly great views, took a few pics before realizing a large snake was wrapped in the rafters above us! Took a pic of it to add to this log. Many thanks.
We've replaced the cache with a logbook and pencil only style cache to discourage opportune trackable theft. Hopefully this one will last a bit longer. Good to go, no location change, just a tad harder to find now as we've reduced the size to a small sistema container. Happy Caching.
Had a thorough check on the cache today in broad daylight. It was not where we left it at the begining of January, nor was there any sign of muggle activity. Begs the question to me how the cache came to disappear. Very disappointed as the location is terrific. May replace with a micro to avoid opportune cache theft.
As Lokipagan said, we came up empty handed. I hope it hasn't gone walkies. Some great views to be had up here though TFTH.
No joy for us today. Scratched around for quite a long time through the toilet paper, undies and other rubbish but no cache to be seen. Who would have thought a 1L sistema could hide so well? 'Til next time
Dropping TBs - came to check on the cache after all the rain - have replaced in original location - yes it is more difficult to access but also well away from zealous muggle park maintenance types
Logged on the way to the Eumundi Market.

Nicely hidden when found. As usual, some workers decided to stop and have lunch just as we pulled up. Liberated TB today, but no swaps.
Brought back many memories of trips to Gympie as child when we had to drive past here. TFTC and TF the memories.

Must have come along a little after George Montague because thw workers were still there. They packed up and left soon after our arrival.
A lovely lookout and in the paddock close by there was a cow with a very new calf. Made the visit even more special.

Magnificent views from this cache location with the additional bonus of a seat and table to write the log.
Found cache a little exposed, but contents were dry and in good condition. Thanks for the cache.

Nice easy find as this was out in the open behind the bush. All was intact and dry so i signed the log and returned it to a spot that i would have hidden it close to gz and covered it. Thanks Suncoast Smiths
What a spectacular view. Had to wait awhile until one muggle finished her lunch, but found it after some 15 mins, though we stayed a while after to take it all in. Have taken geocoin left by teamdfl and will reposition at the weekend. TFTC
Got here just before sunset. GPS battery died, so did a fair bit of rummaging in the bush!!! Found it after a short hunt. Left geocoin and watched the sunset TFTC
Wow, love what things you see when you dont take the highway! On the way to the markets, great driveby. TFTC
Been to Eumundi many times, but never been up here. Its amazing what you don't see. A fairly quick find in the afternoon drizzle.. TNLN. Thanks Suncoast Smiths.
Beautiful little spot enjoyed with friends Jan, Bardy, Anne, Maureen and Libby as, inspired by the Tour de France, we cycled around these little hills. Geocoin collected to join us on the homeward journey.

Took us to a fabulous lookout on the most perfect of Qld winter days-found the cache after scratching about like scrub turkeys.Left Butterflys Ladys Geocoin with lots of happy snaps of its long journey with us & may you travel safe to your next adventure.TFTCxx
I thought this place was familiar. Last visited to find "Eumundi Views" on 21 October, 2006. I'd read 'd.d.dudes' log, so went to where I remembered the cache being. The GPSr didn't agree, so I figured this memory was shot, like a lot of others [|)]. Found the cache not long after. TN/LN/SL and had to try to remember the views as it was 10pm this time. After a bit of detective work, I see the last cache was moved at some point. That would explain the memory "lapse" [^]. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it .
I often stop here for lunch when in the area, and was please to see another cache pop up here.
A great little spot and view of the area. TFTC
