The 3 Stooges are hitting Yorkes Peninsula again, WayneAPN, weredunn4 and myself, looking to knock off more of the Gone Fishing Series.Any other caches of interest will be tackled along the way too of course I had to check this out Friday night, but its been 13 months since we last tackled this series as a grouptoo long Our trips away are always a bundle of fun, ranging from abundant dad jokes, banter, hatching plans of future trips, crap being thrown around about weredunn4s 2 minute loo (I mean poo) stops , baked bean talk and the list goes onSuffice to say, these are always great trips away All caches found and stamped. Any caches needing maintenance, we did our best to restore them to good health whether that be an additional log or new container. Thanks to all the COs for the caches we found this weekend, without you we dont have this game TFTC

Found with the JAMS (JJ52, allister w. mogni/michells&hound, sir_spectre) on a Yorke's adventure.
Thanks

18-Mar-23
I am trying to hit a major milestone in April and this weekend was my chance to get closer to my goal. the JAMMS (JJ52, Allister W, me, michells&hound and sir_spectre) generously helped me find 300+ caches and all caches were replaced better than found.
Thanks to Dazzatron from mogni

18-Mar-23

Found with JAMS ( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, Mitchell&hound plus sir_spectre ) crew. Mogni wants to get to 20, 000 by the Rutherglen Mega in Victoria and make that event her 20, 000 th. Targeted so multi's on the way down to get me closer to 1000 multi's, under 15 to go and got another 8 this trip. So we went out to get some parts of the fishing line geo art that some of the JAMS members haven't completed plus the " Crab ", " The Hook " and the " Sea Horse " geo art series plus some extra caches along the way. By request of one of the members of the fishy tales we swapped the logs sheets for new log sheets ( at least 350 ) and we also removed the 10 mint tins we found and replaced them with preform tubes. All containers found eaten, creacked, broken or with out lids were also replaced with the caches supplied bt the fishy tales group. By the end of the trip we had filled 1 and 3/4 quartes of a standard sized medium bin liner bag with log sheets and broken containers ( some containers not of the geo art series ). Only sighted 2 snakes while doing the geo art but i think i walk though at least 3 dozen spider webs. I found a trackable on the ground about 2 meters from the cache while doing the crab geo art, some people need to be more careful when carrying trackables in their pockets while caching. We stayed in Port Vincent over night. I even got my 18, 000 cache find this weekend, that is probably less surprising since i got just under 400 finds for the weekend. A good weekend away was had by all and it wasn't to hot but i wouldn't have wanted it any hotter.

18-Mar-23
The JAMS team were heading over to Yorke Peninsula for a couple of days to complete the new geoart along with some more of the fishing line that some of us still needed. It was also a trip to help mogni get closer to a major milestone. We had a fun 2 days with lots of different caches found as well as the Fishing Hook and line, Crab and Seahorse and we performed maintenance where needed. Big Grin

As we were in the vicinity we stopped to find this one before heading over to the geoart. Cool

Thanks for the cache Dazzatron. Smile

The Epic Road Trip with OzHockeyChick finds us in the Yorke Peninsula on Day 16. We’ve found a boat and a hook and now it’s time for a crab. All while exploring around the midpoint of the peninsula.

Having stayed here a few nights we figured we’d best actually find the caches here! This was one of them.

Thanks Dazzatron for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

RoamingHowie and OzHockeyChick’s Epic Road Trip - Day Sixteen: OK, now we have a boat - time to go fishing for a certain crustacean, followed by a visit to the Minlaton bakery for lunch and a spot of sightseeing in the afternoon.

Having been camped in this reserve for the past few nights and heading off early tomorrow morning, we figured we’d better head over to find the cache, and so we did.

Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Dazzatron

This weekend is a mental health/selfish/me time weekend.
Headed to YP to do as I please which of course meant geocaching.
My plan was to ‘finish’ fishing . It and the geoart will be almost finished bar avenging some prior dnfs.
Was also keen to find some multis and visit a few places I haven’t been to before.
Mission accomplished in my happy place for the day. Only 2 dnfs. Sadly the Pies lost their Prelim final but we love to fight another day. Stansbury was a revelation to me the pub was brilliant.
All up around 130 found for the day.
Quick find and sign TFTC

A quick stop here on my way past today the cache was easily found in the obvious place and is all good

A quick overnight trip to the Yorkes for 1.5 days of solid caching. I did a bit of the geoart by myself before meeting up with Davidwazza for a majority of the day caching around Innes National Park. With an event in the evening in Edithburgh headed over there before going for a nice walk along the water front for the evening. Day 2 I made my way from Edithburgh along the coast line and back home by lunch time. A total of 169 caches for the trip.

Thanks for the cache

Wanting to start the long gone fishn series from the end of the trail we cleared out a few in this little town. There was no cache to be found at GZ so a read of the logs indicated that it was some 30 meters away. The widened search revealed the good. Log signed and returned to the listed coordinates. Thankyou for the cache Dazzatron found 6 January 2021 15:19

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children.

After veging out (non caching) at Daly Heads for three nights, it was time to move on and find some caches, if we are reach #5000 at Millicent.

Arrived in Warooka and set up camp, did some shopping, had lunch.... then went caching. this one was near by.

But it was thirty metres out after a good search at GZ and according to the hint. We eventually found it lying on the ground surrounded by pine cones. WE signed it, returned it to where we found it, and covered it in natural cammo. Thanks Dazzatron, I have a photo and coordinates if you are interested.

We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.

Admittedly we came for the power trails to make up some of our statistics, but we also wanted to check out some of the traditionals as well. This was obviously one of those we wanted to pick up.

Easy park and grab. I was a little nervous at first driving into the area, but I didn’t realise there was a camping area there and so we were able to drive all the way up to the cache for a quick find. Tftc Dazzatron!!!
