Hard to believe the cricket season was going already with the young lads playing on a field that was in need of some maintenance. The slope above the oval is sodden with recent rain and is like walking on a sponge. There's been some construction down near GZ with a large slab laid and an area cordoned off. We looked in all the likely places and came up with nothing. We did find a Lego man in the dirt but it may have been there from the original muggling. I was wondering how much the description should have changed since the new cache was placed. Will keep an eye on this to see if anyone finds it. Can't work it out.
Got to this park after completing a nearby cache by foot. All up I did 28kms for the day. At this time of the day I was exhausted but pushed myself to complete as many as I could, before it got dark.
As I got to the park I saw lots of kids playing and said to myself geez no. Lucky I walked past them and around the fence to a gz which was away from them. I started my search but came up empty handed. I tried to trust my gps which was dancing all around. I soon spotted the hide where I saw marcus's log. TFTC

Reperio at 1535. Parked at the nearby court, and made my way down to GZ where there were a few mini muggles about. Luckily the cache was situated well away from where they were playing making this one a nice easy find.
Great park.

It was getting dark and wet, with no-one around and there were a lot of hiding places. The cache was not around GZ but there were a few ideal places nearby, and the cache was soon found in its nest. Things were a bit damp but usable. TNLN, thanks for the hide.
What sort of idiot would go caching on an afternoon like this? [:o)] Well one who has never found a cache on July 28th before [8] and wanted to fill in the box on the chart. So after work it was down to this park that was understandably empty in the conditions. Found the cache after a quick search and grabbed the geocoin. Another nice north shore park, thanks barcode boy.
Grabbed this on my morning run, dropped Bubba TB and pikced up Libra Geocoin
Second cache after having returned from Sweden - what else can you do when it's raining? Took the Geocoin and dropped Libra geocoin which we brought from Sweden.
I swear we looked there first, but no cache could we see, until Satanas666 let out a 'here it is!'
Now I was sure I had looked there grrrr...Thanks for the fun we had here.

I was walking in circles for a bit with the GPS jumping but I finally zeroed in. First find after getting off at Roseville station and ended up with 9 for 9 before catching the train back to the city from Chatswood. Took TB Left Geocoin. TFTC
As I approached GZ, I quickly saw where the cache was at one time in the past. I widened my search to eventually locate the caches new hiding spot. I should have read past logs, this would have shortened my search, not by much though. My pouch was bare and as I hadn't seen one for a while, I took GC, LNSL&TFTC. [:o)]
Quick easy find in the 2nd no 3rd place I looked.......plenty of them to choose from, took nothing but left a coin Thanks for the cache!
First of 7 today on a walking geo-tour from Roseville Stn to Chatswood Stn ...Left a TB from the USA that belongs to a Girl Scout Troop....They are new to geocaching and will be interested in their bug's travels. TFTC!!
[I have replaced the cache about meter away from original location which has been compromised by muggles]. Hopfully this spot will be safe, don't go sticking your hands in holes in the log, if it looks dangerous e.g. spiders trust me its not there!!! [ I found the original log ripped up so have remake log with past finders still on it.
good luck

It is with much regret that I disable my listing. The reason is that hw33556 was right and that it was muggled. Between Sunday and Wednesday it has been destroyed. Although I did find the container about 10m away, as well as the log (ripped up and thrown everywhere). Hopefully the spot will be okay to use again. I hope to activate the listing again either later today or tomorrow.
Hmm, either the hide was too clever for me or its been muggled. I poked around a likely feature but could not find the cache. I did however, find an A4 stash note on the ground a few metres away.
Found at 8.55am GAFF1. Another lovely park which reminds us very much of the Canterbury, Camberwell suburbs in Melbourne The cache was found as imagined by the cache name, however we found it quite tricky to re-hide and to ensure it was completely covveed.
Thanks barcodeboy

Did this cache after work on local buiding site. After nearly giving up and looking around all the stumps and trees, I stopped to think about the hint, and there it was right before my eyes. Sneaky hidy hole. TFTC.

Nice walk in another beautiful park. There were so many places that a cache could be hidden. After looking in all the most obvious spots, I stood back and studied the area, and then I spotted it. All is well the cache is dry and safe. Took TB's
Having spent a lot of time in this park I enjoyed picking up this cache. I have always woundered who Loyal Henry was. I presume it is named after William Henry who was one of Ku-ring-gai's first European settlers, he used the area for farming. There were a number of fruit orchards and market gardens in the area.
We were searching at the gz for a little while until the cache location revealed itself. TFTH...SL....TNLN
when i visited today i saw that either a Muggle or someone didn't bother putting the log back in the cache and the zip lock bag the cache WAS in was torn up!! Plz try to replace the cache as found thx B
Thx for everyones advice ,
today i swapped the container for a more sturdy one

It took a while for the penny to drop. The GPS was pointing in the right direction but I wasn't looking in the right place.
A neat hiding place but don't think the container will last long being squished into that small space.
Swapped coins.

Ah yes this place brings back memories. I've spent many an hour here umpiring junior cricket. I've seen a young boy hit a six over square leg and nail the scout hall between the two second story windows, no mesh on them either then. If you’re lucky you might meet the State Opposition leader walking his dog here as he lives near by. Stop him and have a chat if you do see him, he’s a very approachable guy and would love to hear your views on whatever. The cricket nets are soon to be replaced curtsey of not the local government but the local cricket club (Lindfield District). It’s only taken a few years of fund raising but I believe the required total has been reached and contractors engaged.
When you find the Cache take a moment to look across the field to the Scout Hall and note the Monty Python quote on the building. It’s been there for ages, glad to see it’s yet to be removed.
Yes it’s a tight squeeze and a little reconstruction effort is required to replace it. Nice spot though

Good to see some new cachers setting up caches. Thanks Barcode Boy you have picked a nice spot,
After reading Geomatica's log we took along a sistema container to replace the one that was there but couldn't fit everything into it. So the existing container is still in place and only time will tell if it is waterproof and sturdy enough.
Returning the cache to it's hidey hole was a bit of a struggle, it was hard to replace all the camouflage to ensure that it couldn't be easily spotted. Hope it lasts. Did a GC swap. TFTC.

Well that was an... um... well... interesting cache!
Who should I spring in the bush but Gowza. Nice to meet you finally and share an FTF.
So there we were, searching the bush finding nearly every tree stump in the general area when we converged back onto our starting GZ.
TOP of the spots for the final, I think. The frog's home that we disturbed was a sad note, he was mighty narked by the intrusion.
On a "Things that could be done to improve this Cache" note, the final location is too small for the container and the plastic, which is already brittle, will deteriorate leaving it vulnerable to water egress when the hide fills up with water.
Nice effort for your first hide though. When you do a few more you will begin to see what I mean about hides and containers.
Now. Get out there and cache and don't stop hiding them. Keep them coming.

267 - It's not often that you can beat Geomatica to a new cache right in his backyard but this time I was first on the scene! Sure enough minutes later so was he... [:p] Nice to finally put a face to a name!
I'll agree with the improvement comments and add that a zip-lock bag will prevent the log sheet getting wet if (when) the container cracks. For those looking for this one think about obvious hiding spots before traipsing through the entire area.
Regardless it was a good excuse to charge out of the house in the name of a race to a cache!
