Lots of DNF's, owner not logged into the site in many, many months. Might be time to let this one die?
Apathy extreme! This is on our doorstep, and only just got round to looking for it today. Spent some time with both of us looking, and searched all likely nooks and crannies, nothing found. Previous log suggests it's now missing VK2GOM - Rob & Jess.
Approach the intersection before GZ in the jeojalopy and encountered a car leaving the street on the extreme right hand side of the road, so passed them as they do in the US to avoid a confrontation of the metallic type.
Having negotiated the corner, there was the local constabulary. Three of them, cleaning up from a community event, packing their banners and tables away, ...watching
Thankfully that's all they did at that stage.
I stopped adjacent to GZ, and went on with the business at hand. A was standing back from GZ, admiring the structure when a car with a blue light passed my on the grass.... on the grass. They were taking their gear to the shed at the southern end of the field ... phew.
Unperturbed I went on and found the cache, signed log ... and left.... not too fast. Although I must confess that I didn[t loiter either.
Cache container has developed a crack as someone has slotted something a little large in there at some stage
TFTH.. it was an experience.

yay... Found with Malkia. It was our second find after a fruitless morning of searching for other caches!! Thanks for looking after the newbies.
Got here soon after Peppermint Twist cache. Kate started the search low while I looked higher while the dog tried to sniff it out!! Within a minute, Kate spotted the cache for her first find. I got the cache and sign the find. TFTC
The area was deserted early on Sunday afternoon, so we had an easy time with the search. A few minutes search & we had the cache in hand. TFTC.
The inclement weather menat that I had the place to myself and after a short search I had the cache in hand.
Thanks
Thanks
Try as I might after the thunderstorms, I couldn't find this little bugger. Followed the hint, searched high and low and under. Sat down, felt around, walked around, but only heard thunder. Got depressed, and after 25min I left to try and move on. Too well hidden for me this time.
Easy find, don't do it durin a thunderstorm due to multiple lighting strikes around the structure.. Meow for now
Pulled the soccer ball out for the boys, while my daughter and I had a bit of a look. Several teenagers were playing footy, so a bit of stealth was needed. It wasnt where we'd thought it would be. Not to worry, mission complete, Cheers
795 - 2 for today. Found on 20/09/10 12:36 PM

Had a bit of time before heading down the coast to do a couple of drive by's with Nic and Sam. Great little grand, no games on right now so a quick find. TFTC.
We passed this stand in the morning, but then it was occupied. In the afternoon when we came back there was nobody around so we could perform the necessary search.
TFTC Found this one with a bit of looking great for my first find!
Will be traveling back to the states to Colorado where i plan on finding some

Had a fairly good search of the structure today, but it wouldn't come to sight or hand. I was a little bit constrained by some muggles over the road who were obviously wondering why I was spending so long at an empty grandstand so gave it away after about 10 minutes without being able to get quite as deep into the structure as I would have liked. Too many possibilities. Thanks LittleBub.
This was the last caches before i had to go to work, gps had pointing us to the right area it was a matter of time to finding it then found it. TFTC
This was the first to find for the morning before bella-ella had to go to work after the gps pointing us to the right area it was a matter of time to finding it then found it. TFTC
On a small cache with new Geofriends in Bella ella and westmead_concorde. The co-ords were spot on and after taking the back seat allowing the newer members of the party to come up with the goods always puts a smile on their faces a good hide always keeps me smiling TFTC
cold wet dark scared whilst using torch, but no luck
will check again

Not so much a DNF but a lesson to not come here on Sunday while sport is on. As we approached GZ in the car we took one look and kept driving. Maybe next time.
Took a bit to find as there was a bit of an area to search, but eventually came up with the goods, TFTC
It seems the sticky bit is losing its stickiness and may let go soon...took a while to locate, not so long to retrieve.
our first find! thankyou..!
couldn't wait for the gps unit to get delivered so did this one with the car gps!
worth braving the cold for!

Just as well I had my eight year old daughter with me, as a footy match (league) was on, and no one gave much thought to her crawling about...
A quick find, well at least for her!
She thought the footy match was hilarious, because when one team scored a runaway try, one of the opposing players threw his headgear down in disgust and cursed their luck
Thanks LB...

Our second quick find this afternoon with our boys. I was right next to NickoHeap, looking one way, when he spotted the cache right next to me. Thanks.
You need to be small and nimble to get this. NickoHeap's eagle eyes spotted it again. TFTC
In the area for work and swung by here. Having only read the name I was expecting a Piano, how wrong was I. This is, however, still very much a baby grand!
Had to avoid the nearby muggles but still made the find without too much difficulty.
Cheers

The area around cache was awash with rubbish I guess from the weekend. A quickish find today BUT another cache like this 1 may be a different story.

Found after a bit of searching and trying to look dis-interested due to muggles. TFTC
I had to don the fluro shirt and carry the folder taking measurements as I went to put off one female muggle that would not move from the location no matter what I did! Eventually discovered it Thanks for the cache.
[Reasonably quick find after dropping the rest of the crew at the Hospital. I must admit that I was surprised by the size of this one when I found it, given the opening statement on the cache page.] I was looking for something smaller. [There was the odd muggle about but didn't seem too interested in what I was doing.
TFTC and the challenge.]

Went back today with my youngest son. He had it in his hand within five seconds he says. He certainly had it before I got out of and around the car.
TFTC.

I'm the 5th to find on my 140th cache. Found this sneeky hide before going to watch Panthers beat Tigers at CUA stadium. Was not easy as we had an idea in our head what type of cache we were looking for and possibly looked right at the real one without recognising it. Cache still in good shape SL TFTC.
Nope, despite looking for almost half an hour, I could not find this! I shall return.
With a thousand places to look and only ten minutes available, I'm afraid it is a DNF for me today.

Another interesting hunt to find a cleverly concealed cache. Signed and replaced just as GazMag turned up. Could be a bit difficult at the weekends though! Thanks.
"How was your day Ted?"
"Toot sweet Love. I landed 3 FTF's and a pay rise!"
"That's nice Ted".
Nice spot and has the ability to drive many a little nuts trying to find it. I guess I was lucky this morning.

Arrived at GZ to find "jkcourtz" signing the log but he replaced the cache before I could see where he put it, .......Consequently I had to find the little bugger all by myself!!!
After a hands and knees trick, cache in hand and log signed.
Tks ....... LittleBub ....... GazMag
