Clever placement although coords were a bit off for me, there was only a couple of places the cache could be! TFTC

Found very easily!

We're definitely missing something here, given previous comments about an easy find, and others about clever hides or cleverly constructed. Then someone else says its the fisrt cache they've found not in a container ... just a plastic bag. On top of that we have no idea what the hint means. In short, we haven't had a very productive afternoon

In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Meanandering about on some of these country roads and took a slight detour for a few hides in town. An easy enough find at GZ. This was a cool cache to find, worthy of a fav. Thanks GoldJ for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.

Found with ShaniTemplar06 as we enjoyed a ride on electric scooters in the sunshine. A sneaky little cache that would easily be overlooked. Accurate coordinates meant for a quick find.

I love hides like these and there are 3 things i love about them, the first 2 would sort of give it away, so i'm not here to do that and spoil the surprise for other Cachers ..........the 3rd is, they are usually seriously cool and their owners spend many man-hours making them Wink so for that alone a Favorite Point is given. Signed the log @ 13:14 on 19/12/23 away from GZ so no Muggles would see, actually not one single Muggle passed me which i'm more than ok with Cool. The log within is dry-as-bro Big GrinTFTC GoldJ Smile

As the sun was setting here, I was finally in the area kid-free so stopped to grab this one. As I walked up I guessed it's location , as I'm not new to this type of Camo. Getting the spiderweb smack in the face, I grabbed this one moments later. Camo in good condition, log not so good. Signed the log and returned to its resting place. Nice view from here on top of the hill. So hidden Smile TFTC

Spring rolls nearby are perfect on this rainy, windy day. Great hiding spot.

Usually find these hard but quick find today because we know where to look now. I replaced the old ripped bag with a new one. I accidentally ripped the rubber band so I had to tie it, very sorry. This cache was very well constructed. It was interesting to find our first cache without a container. Thank you so much for putting in the work so we can enjoy this amazing creative hide. TFTC

Gee it was so cold walking to GZ this afternoon, but after finding the cache I had a warm fuzzy feeling Red Face

A bit of a last minute decision to head north to better weather for the day with Stainless steel rat. We spotted this new series so made a 7am start to head north for a look. Not much else was on the radar, we just thought we’d see how the day went. We ended up with about 25 cache finds and 2 sets of adventure labs, making it home just over 12 hours later. It was a good day out!
Thanks GoldJ

Thanks for the cache GoldJ.
RLD4963 and I were heading north for the long weekend, and we had some time to spare before checking into our accommodation so we headed to Carr Villa to search for some caches.
This was a nice quick find at GZ, no muggles in sight as we retrieved, signed and returned to the cache.

28-May-21
Time for another find before heading off. Followed the trail around a little and was soon at GZ. A likely spot based on the cache name was picked and the hide soon found. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

After a relatively early finish from work in Launceston I wanted to grab a few caches before I headed back to Hobart.

Parked up in the cemetery then had an enjoyable walk for the final 400 metres to cache. Luckily I’ve seen a few of this type before so on approaching gz had a pretty good idea where it would be. And yes quickly logged and returned. TFTC

The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

We are staying in Bridport for the week with our family and decided to attend the events that are in Launceston and Lilydale. We also realised that maybe if we attempt some caches with large favourites points that we may reach the last cache carnival souvenir.

Eventually found a place to park and a quick find as we have found a few like this but always nice to see. Very well tied up once we got in.

DNF for this one, on our second last day in Tasmania, still way to clever for me after 3 attemts and finding nothing at all related to the clue, wasting onather half hour covering a 20 meter radius from GZ. GoldJ.
Attempted to find this at 3:47:00 PM on 14Mar2019

While the geo-mobile was in for minor repair, I came out on the geo-cycle to fill some gaps in the smileys on the map. It was a struggle for these old legs to pedal up the hill to this one, but I managed to stay on it. From the cache name, I had an idea of the sort of hide I was looking for, (I hadn't read the hint until just now as I am logging the find) and I was still on the bike seat, riding past to the convenient bike parking spot when I spotted enough external evidence to confirm that I was on the money. A few steps back from the parking spot, sign the log, replace as found and all is good. TFTC GoldJ

We're currently staying in Launceston over the Australia Day long weekend (we're from Hobart), taking some time for a leisurely holiday with a bit of geocaching thrown in here and there.

Today, our travels took us to two beautiful spots: the wonderful Punchbowl Reserve, and Carr Villa Flora Reserve (with a quick detour for a mystery cache along the way). In all we found seven traditional caches, one mystery cache, and one EarthCache. We had no DNFs today, but came perilously close a couple of times!

We spent about an hour wandering around the Carr Villa Flora Reserve, picking up a couple of caches, before heading to our accommodations via this cache. Fortunately, this one didn't pose much trouble for us - we've come across a couple of similar caches in the last few weeks, so we already had an idea what to look for. Still an ingenious hide though - if we hadn't previously found those other caches, we reckon we would have been scratching our heads for quite some time!

Definitely a good cache, in a great spot!

TFTC!

Trying to clear up a few dnfs with CatCasper. Unfortunately after a fairly long search we could not find the cache. I have absolutely no idea where this cache could be.
That's my fourth DNF in a row with no finds in the last two days.
That is the second time I've looked for this cache. I will return.

Over the past few days we had walked in and around Launceston so today we jumped on a bus to King's Meadow. From here the plan was to walk back to town and grab a few caches on the way.

This was our first cache for the day and for a while it seemed that we would be unsuccessful. In the end I managed to stumble upon the sneaky hide. TFTC.

Hello GoldJ thank you for the cache.

This was my second attempt at this one, I couldn't get it last night.

I wanted to find some caches so I could get some Hidden Creatures souvenirs that I can proudly display on my profile page that no one will see.
I travelled up from Hobart for this search.

Hi there GoldJ.

We cached around Launceston today - and found your cache **"Columbarium"** at 11:19:00 AM. (This brings our total find count to 18423).

We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 6 caches (& DNF'd 3).

Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels. We awarded this cache a favourite point for the novel hide.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.
