A quick find here although it was strewn along the ground. The local mower man must have accidentally wipper snipped it but all good and back where I think it belongs. TFTC
Out and about again, this time down in the Collie- Boyup Brook area, it was a really wet day so it was slow going - had a careful of muggles.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

We had fun pronouncing the town name.
Thanks.
We had fun pronouncing the town name.
Thanks.
Had to laugh, Mr ILT walked into the shop and the man inside said with surprise
"Where did you come from?" just as though he had never seen a non-local before. Must admit though, I don't think there was any body else in town today.
Thank you Beauges

Decided to do a caching run to Albany and stay overnight and cache on the way home. Our aim was to pick up as many as possible including multi,s and puzzle caches that the hubby had solved. Most caches were found quickly with a few that took a bit of searching to find. A big thanks to all the CO,S for placing the caches for us and everyone else to find.
TFTH headed down to Albany for a quick weekend trip. Needed to do some maintenance on some down that way and made the most of it by finding a few along the way.
On the trip home the main aim of the game was to find the My Home series of caches. All these were found in good condition and made for some fun caching through the. Country side. A. Good range of camo containers and sizes.
Ended up with 20 finds and 9 caches checked on. Just short of 1000km on the Geocar with the weather perfect on both days.
Thanks for bringing me back down this way and as usual I'm sure it won't be long until I return again.

With a rare additional weekend off secured, plans were hatched to go out and find s bunch of caches to keep the numbers ticking over. We thought why not kill two birds with one stone, do some running repairs on our Albany caches, and finally, and I mean finally grab the My Home series, which has been on the radar for far too long.
This is my kind of geocaching, nice country driving, some different styles of container and good times with good mates, what more can you want. We're finally getting close to having the whole route from Perth to Albany along Albany highway cleaned up. It's taken five years so far, and we've nearly cached out every town along the route, and the alternative route via Cranbrook including just about every town between. Hopefully we can pickup a few more on our next run down. Thanks

This one took us a little while, had to take a second look over the place but was easy in the end, tftc!
Out and about for a country drive over the New Year's long Weekend.
This is why we enjoy caching, it gets us out and about seeing bits of history as we travel.
Found your cache and thanks for sharing this interesting spot.

I am heading down to Albany to attend the WA Caching Turns Fifteen Bash, so I headed off early on Friday morning to make the most of a caching day.
I took the long, winding road and found myself in the area.
Nice little town here, and a quick find had me on the road once more.

Love these out of the way, little forgotten towns that just happen to have a cache in it to make the visit more memorable. This little town will have a last memory as it sells beer and I needed some for our last night at the lake nearby. How could I have miscalculated my requirements? Well I did but having signed this cache in the morning and before I had my first beer I realised that the shop MUST sell some, as it's the only shop for miles. and it did and was helped out by a lovely guy and very friendly. Love the bush.
This one took us a little while longer than normal, but m4yb had it in hand after I had tried a few other possible spots.
Also love that they are not often found, so it makes them more special.
Thanks for placing this cache Beauges.

Having 3 days camping at lake Towerrining, kayaking and just enjoying the water, the best place to be during heatwave temperatures.
Today we went for a little drive to neighbouring towns, this one is a nice little stop, and a handy cache to put a smiley on the map. TFTC Beauges.

A nice hide here and I found it in the second place I looked . A sleepy little town [^]
After staying at the caravan park in Katanning, geoson and I did a bit more exploring (ok, ok ... caching) before we headed away towards home. We managed to find this one on our travels and added our name to the log!

Found this one on the homeward journey after a week of awesome caching around the Great Southern area. Am sad to be going home, but duty calls.
Was making good time until I hit the Darkan/Collie Road - lots of roadworks in progress - so was great to have a reason to pull off every now and then to find a cache.
Thanks Beauges

Lovely spot to stop and reflect on the days gone by. It is hard to know if these towns were because of rail, or rail was because of many little country towns. But no longer much of either. Thanks for the cache.
Very long grass in the area kept this one hidden else the cache is gone.
A quiet spot on a busy weekend.
A quiet spot on a busy weekend.
A very quick find by me after muggle partner walked right over it . No. 17/18 find today.
I'm sure it was mean't to be hidden and not just on the grass to be seen by everyone. So I've hidden it for now but the grass won't be there to protect it forever so someone will probably need to find a better spot for it.
Then took a drive around town before starting our journey home. When it's only a few streets there's no problems there.

Great little spot on a good road, will have to come this way more often. Thanks beauges for a nice cache.
A really easy find on my way through. Could do with a new log as there's no room left.
A quick stop and a quick find in one of these small 'towns' that are dotted around the southwest. A good opportunity to stretch the legs

The rest of my caching family had found this cache previously, but hadn't logged it. We were down this way again at Easter for another visit to see our good farming friends kcsun71. I took the chance the skip away by myself - on the pretence of getting the paper - to catch up on this missed cache. Thanks for the hunt.
Got too love long weekends!!
Nice quick find on our return path homewards, number 27 for our trip.

Very quiet in town this morning on our way to Hyden. Cache had rolled out of its hidey hole so lucky we decided on the detour to wipe this one off our 'to do' list!
Easy find, took nothing and left a shell.....Great to break the trip up home....
Never been out this way before. Easy find in a nice quiet little town. One of the locals asked what we were up to AFTER we replaced the hide. So we told him and he said he was really interested. He had a gps in his truck he used for tracking soil samples. Another convert maybe TN Left whistle. Grabbed Buzz Lightyear TB. TFTC
