A quick find near where I tutor, thought I'd intro the kids to it. Love this one, nice and creative. Thanks for the hard work guys. Cheers.
Out and about with Lady membsec for our last caching Thursday for the year. Silly holiday season gets in the way of so many things! It was another short day as I had to be back for my middle munchkins Christmas party at school. I would have hated to miss musical statues and simon says... Turns out I am terrible at both
On driving towards the cache we came upon a minor obstacle... just a creek! My suggestion was do we park here and just jump over it? Haha! Well, I am glad the general consensis was to see if we could find maybe a bridge? On reaching said way across, I realised just what 'jumping over' the creek actually would have converted to.... Swimming!!!!
So we parked, and casually used the well made bridge crossing and headed for GZ. Lovely day for short walks and unfortunately no bikes. Arriving at GZ it wasn't long till I spotted a likely hiding spot.
TFTC geckomaster62 Great cache!

TFTC geckomaster62 Great cache!
Out and about on our last Thursday for the year with the lovely Nyssaflutterby. She sent me a text asking if I wanted to climb a bridge.......climb a bridge???!!!! Oh why not!!! After climbing the bridge this was our next cache on the list to do on our short caching day. We did however stopped at another one suddenly for us to grab. It was at one point suggested that we could cross the creek, oh it's only a creek!!! Mmmmmmm......sure, but we continued further down away from GZ and oh were we lucky we did because the creek is somewhat full!!! A nice quick pace over to GZ and Nyssa had her eye in today as she suggested the likely place and bingo, we had a cache container in our hands. Another clever hide.

A brief thunderstorm around the middle of the day and a call from Captain Terror to pick up some local caches. I drove Sooty the cachemobile and the good cap'n navigated.
I've driven past this park many times but this is first time I've parked. We wandered along the bike path for a while and the cap's GPSR said we should stop at a suspicious looking structure ... Still not sure what it is? My dumbphone wanted to keep going!!!
CT spotted the hide but insisted that I find and extract it . I'm guessing it was too far for him to reach way down there.
Lovely wander into this park and almost mown down by an out of control cyclist in bright blue lycra on the way out.

A.Ladybug and I were out and about grabbing caches and decided to grab this one next. I remember almost stopping in to find it ages ago, but evidently didn't for some reason. Parked as close as we could and wandered in on foot. A few pushbikes getting about as we walked. I started to move off the path as my GPS indicated only 20m or so, while a certain unnamed person's iPhone indicated several hundred. Seem legit A quick look and I spied the beast, but left it for A.Ladybug to suss out. She soon saw the contraption and extracted it from it's hide. The logbook was tipped out and signed, I replaced all as it was and back round the velodrome towards the car. TFTC geckomaster62
Had a spare 15mins to pick up jnr from school so I thought I would give this one a hit.
Great hide.
Only one muggle on bike so waited till he went past and stowed it away.
Yes the suringes were still there but resisted the urge to dispose of them as I thought these are obvious if I miss one it may end up stuck in someone elses hand.
I will notify the council.

Found with goldielover. What a great area this is. We didn't know it existed. Made our way down the path to the GZ and I spotted the container straight away although goldielover doubted it. Grabbed the log and signed it then placed it back. Watched some kids flying kites. Thanks geckomaster 62
Found with stairman1 and geodog. The day was coming to an end but we decided to grab a few more. We didn't have any pushbikes but used leg power to get to this one . Arrived at the GZ and even though I saw the container I didn't grab it. I was surprised when stairman1 grabbed it . The log is nice and dry. Signed our names then watched some kids flying kittes nearby. Thanks GM62. Another tricky hide.
Cache #5 / 25 on my 150km geocaching cycle day from Mt Cotton to Boondall Wetlands and back through the city.
CAUTION!!!!!! I found a drug needle near the cache. I was not going to touch it so left it there. Be careful with children at this cache.
I used to race criterium here at this track when I was 16-18 years old. One day we were flying around the track at about 50kph when a hot air balloon landed in the field inside the track. We all got so distracted that the pack went down. It was scary and painful. Thanks for bringing back memories (the riders were zooming around today and I enjoyed watching them).

Great fun to hunt with my daughter whilst my son did laps. Found a travel bug with a coin from Oregon USA. Need to look up the code to see where it needs to go. Thx for the cache.
I had a pink pony TB and couldn't resist placing in a cache close to the Brisbane Polo Grounds! I was pleasantly surprised by the camo of this cache after spending a few anxious moments trying to find the container. Managed to squeeze pony and other TB inside. Great Cache! Thanks geckomaster62.
Tftc, great location, will bring bike next time for a few laps.

2nd find of 33 found today whilst out on a most enjoyable day with the amazing Fasted69 and the delectable Barbbowman
Almost drove straight to it, but not sure the 4WD was meant to, so we walked part of it. Spoke to a passing muggle who claimed that the bike events for the London olympics are being held here - he sounded trustworthy.
Ed grabbed the cache fairly quickly, all things considered ... and I suddenly knew what sort of day this was going to be (I think this counts as my second ever Geckomaster cache, after Eddie Gilbert) - we have a lot more of this in front of us today - we may be still going after dark if they are all this clever. Busy bikeway, but coast was cleared for the return function and we are off to the next adventure.[^]
Thanks for placing this cache, geckomaster62. Found in good condition.
{Overall find #1295}

I think I'm starting to think like GM62 as I was all over this one pretty quickly.

An easy find as the cache was not as it should be -I have corrected it as much as possible but unfortunately glues are letting go and correct placing is difficult.

Nice quick find for us, we liked the container and hide
We 'd walked in today but there where plenty of others enjoying the area on their pushies.

Great cache -- nice and shady under the trees (which was good with geo-wife and little ones in tow), and a clever, sneaky hide (gets 4.5 / 5 stars from us in GCVote!). As late morning became quite hot on the track, cyclists dropped to all most zero, which was nice. But is this really a 'micro'?
Nice camo. Tricky one to start with. Quite a few muggles going around after school so was a bitt trickier
To the dismay of crookedgeoson, the archery we had observed in this park earlier in the day had finished by the time we arrived at the car park.
Quick walk to GZ as rain threatened. Another creative cache hidden right under our noses. Love this sort of hide.

It had just started to rain as I parked at the nearest parking spot. Spent a bit of time extracting my rain jacket from my suitcase (I'm in-transit between Bundaberg and Fiji), then a showery walk to GZ. I walked around checking everything out and something looked a possible cache, so went into tactile searching mode and sure enough - a clever bit of camouflage! TFTC geckomaster62.
Working in the area today, this was the first of a few i grabbed on the way home . Arriving at GZ, i began my hunt …. firstly around a particular tree that the gizzmo seemed to like, and then to the obvious . It wasn't long before i spotted something very 'geckomasterish', and the treasure was found . Another fine effort gm62. TFTC
Grabbed lunch at the nearby takeaway and then went for a long walk across the park to this one. A very neat idea which should be harder than it is - I guess with experience we are all looking for such things but a great effort. Signed and replaced.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Today I was able to combine two of my most favourite pastimes - geocaching and kite flying. There was a kite festival in the park today and I will upload some pics shortly. Was able to park right next to GZ and found the cache easily even with the millions of muggles around. The cache is in good order - very clever disguise. TFTC.
Took the family for an afternoon walk, and found the cache fairly easily. We found it on the ground, but repositioned it back where it seemed to have come from. TFTC
Found it with a bit of help from TheresaAndJackson, it was a bit difficult at night, very windy too.
Found with beks_xo.

Took me a while to find this one really liked it, it's the best one yet. Nice hide ; )
Lovely wide open park. Had to watch out for the silent bike riders. They can sneak up on you. Found the cache - well Aussie Liahona sent me out on my own - and had some fun getting into it. Had put things back in place and was walking back to vehicle when I realised - uh oh - I was still holding something from the cache in my hand. Back to GZ, look around for any bike riders, then go through the whole process again. Finally success and I could get in another short walk on a lovely level track.
Took a while to find this one - it was right under our noses. About to walk away and then cache was found in good condition. Very sneaky. TFTC.
Had to bring a damaged suitcase up to this area today and thought this had to be a good reason to find some caches while I'm here. This was a lovely walk on a hot winters afternoon. Headed in the direction the gps was taking me from where we'd parked the car. GPS took me straight to the location of GZ. Had a bit of a look around and then spotted a very impressive cache. I LIKED it. Good one geckomaster62. This earns a favourite from me. Thanks for placing such a good cache for us to find today.

Nice hide, there was a motorcycle on the track today cutting very quick laps. TFTC
Loves your camo so excellent one. Enjoyed walk along to the container. SL. Thanks geckomaster62.
Very good, its micro but its not,and that just looks like its suposed to be there TFTC geckomaster62
Nice hide geckomaster62 and this cache finally gave me an idea of how you had hid another of your caches closer to my home. Found with SOS89, TFTC!
To all who may be considering putting this cache on their list . On Sunday 7th of November, the Brisbane Kite Festival will be held in this park. Some spectacular kites will be on show + food and market stalls. So if the area is not too "muggly" around GZ check out the kites, and find a cache . For more information on the Festival visit brisbanekitefestival.com.au. We are planning to have a looksie so we might see you there.

Nice hide. This will be a very busy spot in a few weekends time with the bridge to Brisbane. TFTC
The track was empty today and the breeze was very chilly!! Another clever hide. Didn't take us long - we must be getting used to your style! Thanks geckomaster62
Found it No. 2951 ... people making use of the track at lunch time ... clever hide ... TNLN TFTC
Didn't have a bike on me - but I did have two feet and a heartbeat. Sadly muggles were sitting on the bike track in a group around GZ. Sat down under a tree and waited for them to begone themselves. Once they left, I went in for the swoop. Hunted around GZ for a bit until I found a likely candidate. Very clever hide this one. TFTC Geckomaster62
Nice walk across an open sports field this is in my top ten of awsome hides along with tops of fence posts, fake rocks and a log cut in half happy hunting all
I decided to complete this one earlier today (on my bke of course) as i was also out to complete a double mission. A clever hide that had me looking in all the other places first up
A few of the 2 wheeler type muggles about today as it was a public holiday, but luckily for us none of them seemed very interested in a few 2 legged cachers wandering around GZ. Mr Ksix spotted this one almost straight away. Gotta love these cleverly hidden caches that virtually sit out in the open. We liked this container very much.
Thanks for the hunt and a different hide geckomaster62
Cheers,
Ksix

Surprisingly deserted at lunch time Sunday. It always amazes me all these different and very clever types of caches. Fantastic. TFTC
A grand area for a pushbike ride (if you like going around in circles)
I made good use of the area as a shortcut during one of my cross country bike rides this morning
A quick look around at GZ and from a few metres away I saw something I wasn't quite expecting.
It had to be the cache though
With only one dog wielding muggle wandering around it was an easy grab and rehide
TFTC in a wide open space [^]

Cache dry and in good condition.

WOW Beautiful walk and view big park, our dog happy run around on big park..clever hide well and found cache in the morning...
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 9:50am. Didn't have a pushbike but 2 legs only(each that is). Not too hard to track down. TFTC
Found at1035. A quick find once I made the 300m walk to the GZ Marg stay in the car again. Cache OK TFTC>
I arrived in the area this morning to find s group of "Senior" athletes doing times power walk laps... Hmm, not only that but there were checkpoints along the way that were manned every 300m or so... Not deterred, I wanderred toward GZ on a recce mission. Who knows, the container may be perfectly retrievable while the other sports lovers in the community, do their own thing... [^]
I landed at GZ to find a checkpoint was within 20m. OK, so that's not good. I received a good morning from the couple at the checkpoint and offerred return greetings. At that point, I decided that the best approach here was to share our sport with other keen physical types and I explained why I was in the park. Not only did I gain a "wow, that's cool", one of the checkpoint dwellers even took note of the website address and was very keen to read more...
I moved in for the hunt and spotted the very neatly placed container. Prior to removal, I invited the potential new recruit over for a look at what a well crafter cache looks like... Suffice to say, he was very impressed and explained how something in plain sight would never have even caught his attention... Well done Geckomaster62, I suspect your handy work has intrigued said muggle and you might just see a newbie claiming a find on this one in the near future...
Cheers.

Nice hide you have there. Only had to walk a couple of hundred metres to GZ. No lycra laddies/ladies today, so I sneaked back the wrong way. Hope the cycle police don't come knocking on my door tonight . TN/LN/SL.
There was a guy flying big kites on the oval.
It was great to watch them soar.
It didn't distract me from the hunt and I soon had the cache in hand.
Well constructed cache. I didn't complete the loop. I returned the wrong way along the path.

First to log but not FTF that happened yesterday.
All the gates were locked when we arrived so we walked along the bike track, imaging what it would be lke to race around here.
Nice camo.

This one popped up on the radar as I was doing my weekly chores so it was a tough decision - more housework or race the 1.84km for a potential FTF. Guess which one I chose????
There was a fair bit of activity around GZ but it all came down to timing and the FTF was mine. Great hide and that's all I'm going to say! I'd hate to spoil it for anyone else.
Thanks for the cache
