Finally managed to get the final of this quite close to home multi.
Have to admit I've been here before and am glad I don't need to come back [^]
Thanks for the cache wilbyar

15-Jul-16
Nice multi but not a quick find. Outer container could do with some TLC

16-May-16
Love multis, but I'm stuck trying to find WP1! Maybe the traffic is putting me off from searching harder, or I'm missing something really obvious. Was only game enough to hide behind the bushes and dig around but saw nothing helpful. Please don't tell me I have to be on the footpath side to be successful :/

Found while out caching with Snap Happy and SnappyTomCats. Great day caching in the Adelaide hills and Eastern burbs. Sorry for the late and generic log...I am only new to Gsak.
Thanks wilbyar for placing and maintaining this cache.

Finally after a 3rd attempt and a hint or two from the CO we opened our eyes and "SAW",harder and claimed a smiley. Thanks for this series and the push in the right direction

24-Mar-15
Finally a find.
After getting a hint from the CO.
Plus a shove in the right direction from a previous finder.
The blind fold was removed and we saw the cache. TFTC

12-Mar-15
Second attempt and still no luck with one of the waypoints, we must either be blind or getting tired at this time of the day, Maybe just need a Nanna Nap.

05-Mar-15
Ok so waypoint 1 found, waypoint 2 found but no sign of waypoint 3, may have to check with CO as to whether the third is still there as we double then triple checked our adding and subtracting Sad

17-Nov-14
I gave this horror of a cache a good run for its money today Razz
The first waypoint was an easy find [^]

Alas !! It seems that most cachers claiming the smiley don't understand that this is a MULTI CACHE and have signed the bit of paper that somebody stuck in the container Twisted

I knew better and despite not ever having seen or heard of this movie franchise soon had a set of coords to head for to find waypoint 2 Razz
Which I did find.

More questions about stuff I don't know about Razz
I guessed that this movie would not have made much money at the box office, and ended up in someone's front garden Red Face
So I gave the movie a bit more credit which put me in a better spot to find a waypoint Smile

And after some searching, I didn't Sad

So tonight I have done me homework ...
... I was so close [:o]

So I will be back to finish this one off Big Grin
With a chainSAW Wink

Got there eventually.
Managed to do the first steps quite quickly but got stuck at the final hurdle.
Thanks for a nudge in the right direction wilbyar.
Really wish I had access to a mini cassette player. A fun multi. Cheers

""Sneaky Squeaky™" Woz ere" A quick but enjoyable find. From Me To You From SQ72 T.F.T.C

23-Jan-14
Out caching tonight with 3LG & SneakySqueaky.

A tricky find, but we got it. The lid is cracked, so some crawlies are starting to get in. TFTC

04-Sep-13
out for the night with 3LG & honeysucker, and locus cache when she finally got unlost.

took awhile till it was spotted even with a previous finder

04-Sep-13
After tea, I drove out to meet Honeysucker and 3LG to do a cache which had previously stumped 3LG.
After being given meeting coords that were way out and therefore driving on the wrong side of the reserve and then having to make several phone calls to clarify their location, I finally managed to catch up with them...and realised chrispy89 had somehow materialised from nowehere and also joined us Surprised
We did a couple of other caches in this area and then I begged them to come and help me with this cache!
I had done the work and arrived here at GZ some months ago but I must have been blind as I spent an hour or so and still DNF this cache. Red Face
Tonight with 5 sets of eyes, one of whom was a previous finder, it still took us quite a while to locus cache but at least we did! Wink
Finally JigSAW1 is gone and it only took me about 6 months to do so! Cool

04-Sep-13
I LOVE the saw movies and i hope they never stop making them, after arriving at the final co ords we all worked around like zombies trying to work out where is the damn cache, even a previous finder was stumped but eventually it was found and everyone was happy, Thanks wilyar for the cache

02-Sep-13
Got back here today for another look, thinking that last time it may have been MIA.
Still couldn't find, and then the bestie spotted something not quite right.
Co-ords are spot on at GZ.
Thanks for the re-living of the movie.
TNLNSL
Thanks

I spotted it before Huurtle - SL Thanks for the cache

08-Jul-13
Gotcha!

Finally!!! At last I can put this one to bed.

The description on the page says to try to beat 45 minutes. Well I think it took me more that 45 days!

I started doing 1 way point a week for the first 3.

Then I got seriously stuck at the second to last point. After several searches, eventually the CO took pity on me and sent me a spoiler photo of the way point cache location.

Then I realised that I did not record a number at an earlier way point that was needed to calculate the final location. And that I had not kept previous way point coordinates. Fortunately, my memory did not let me down. And that was *really* surprising!.

But then I still failed on my first attempt at the final and needed yet another hint from the CO.

Blimey!

Thanks wilbyar

ZZzz..

24-Mar-13
Finally finished this! Bacon and I were struggling for a while Very Happy

The second last point was tricky, and visiting twice in the dark probably didn't help! FINALLY got hold of that and then ventured to GZ to complete this cache.

Used to ride through here on the way to school back in the day!

TFTC Smile

24-Mar-13
YES! Thanks very much to wilbyar for your help. I doubt we would've found the second WP if it weren't for you.

Log all signed, and now I'll probably watch the SAW films.

26-Feb-13
All caches checked and still in position Smile

25-Feb-13
So Locker101 & I made a return to this cache, having abandoned our search last time.

Having said at that time "It must be missing, since that's where I think it should be" I stopped being lazy, and actually looked. So found the starting cache, and WP1.

But WP2 (as per 82lexie) appears to be missing. Again, where we thought it should be, it wasn't.

24-Feb-13
Got original gz, got to first way point. Got coordinates for 2 nd way point looked for half an hour with no luck. Can you verify its still there please:)

06-Feb-13
Went past on our walk and found where we thought Wp1 should be hidden, so will have to return for a better look when it's not dusk.

02-Feb-13
Finally we got this one ticked off the list Very Happy:-D its been eating at us for ages.. Fav point well deserved for the great hunt and the effort put into making this good multi TFTC Smile

02-Feb-13
Now this one had been on this list for quite awhile.... after one fail we wanted to wait until someone had found it or the owner had checked it...

After confirmation from the owner its good to go, I whacked it back on the list, and we had some free time tonight as the sun was going down.

Every Way Point was well maintained clean and dry, great search at every point a couple really stumped us but we were cheering when we opened the end..

Great Job, Great cache, and a fantastic time by us 21:30 mins from start to finish.. Yeah we have speedy legs...

Thanks for the cache Wilbyar Favorite point coming your way, Should be more Multis like this Very Happy

30-Dec-12
Prett sure I was at the right gz. Screwdriver was useless. Traipsed back to car, and drove baxk to gz.
Using another tool, I found and empty cammo.
Bugger, or maybe I wasnt looking right?

11-Nov-12
All caches checked and all still in position Smile

28-Oct-12
Can anyone confirm if initial wp is still there

28-Oct-12
Lots of rubbish and fallen sticks ect at start, had a 15 min look around for a container to start us off but was unsuccessful.

01-Feb-12
Well i can safely say this took many months as i did a bit each time i came to the area with a final grab today

17-Jan-12
Well, with the cache not having been found for over a year, and the last 2 logs DNFs, I started this multi with confidence at a low. But the first cache was found quickly, as was the second. With confidence soaring I headed off to WP3 and struck out! An email to wilbyar had me poited in the right direction and WP3 and then the cache finally found in 39 degrees C! My time? Around 5 days!! But a really well thought out cache with some great hides. Thanks, wilbyar, for the cache and the extra hint!!

06-Apr-11
Totally embarrased by this one. Didn't even find WP1 to get started. With peak hour traffic going past and quite a bit of rubbish lying around, we abandonded our search.

01-Mar-11
Found all the intermediate waypoints, but Mr. Saw beat me at the final. (Also a big man with scary dog)
Great concept for the cache anyway, even if it did beat me. I wish I had a micro-cassette player so I could get the full experience.
Thanks wilbyar

04-Dec-10
The GZ cache has been moved 1 metre East from the original coordinates - to keep the council happy Smile

01-Dec-10
Easy find enjoyed the multi
maintenance has been done at GZ but cache still secure and found easily

10-Oct-10
Really enjoyed this multi. Nice work on the waypoints. I’m always appreciative of any cache that appears to have had some thought put into it.
WP 2 had us scratching our heads, as I initially discounted the obvious spot and searched everywhere else.
The others were easy enough, and the final loc was a beauty. But as others have pointed out, it’s only going to last up until the first maintenance visit. We made no swaps. Cheers Wildyar Big Grin.

Oh … and our time was 37 min [^]

09-Oct-10
A really neat multi Cool that lifted our spirits after failing miserably with another nearby.
It took us 62 minutes after we found our initial maths skill sadly lacking and bad sat. loc. at GZ had us on the other side of the path [xx(].
Took snake. Left keyring. SL.
Thanks Wilbyar.

29-Aug-10

A lovely multi for a great afternoon. WPt1 had been completed some months ago in a bit of a rush. Today was the day. The elevated muggles nearby were none the wiser. Our thanx to wilbyar and clear skies from TeamAstro.

28-Jul-10
I was out on the pushy today so the time constraint was no issue. 24 mins were all it took to play this game, which included gathering web info via iPhone. I bet the Saw victims wished they had a phone. WP3 was a little unnerving, but a good concealment. Lots of fun. TFTC

03-Jul-10
My time frame was ~38 minutes. WP2 slowed me down. Eventually I trusted the GPS and not my instincts. I must have done some wrong though because Jigsaw chopped off my head [xx(]. Well done a great multicache.

25-May-10
This took longer than anticipated at start.
Misread ? 2 and had to return home to recheck.
Eventually found 1hr 27 minutes after starting.
Enjoyed the walks and the camo was great especially the 2nd stage.
Retrieved TB.

25-May-10
Stopped watching the series after Saw 3 - you can only make the same movie so many times Sad. A little surprised to see where the final was hidden - probably not the best choice of hiding spot if anybody actually maintains the area. TFTC.

Find 927 My Way Without a GPS
But it took me multi visits over 2 days as I had to check my progress with Google Earth, the only problem without a GPS. At least it is not too far from home.
I guess my time to find will always be the longest.
Thanks to wilbyar for the cache welcome to the fraternity of cache owners.
After finding the cache it was off to collect another waypoint for GC249R5 The Little Mole, another multi visit multi.

FTF to Adrian Mc.

A phone call from Skippy alerted me this was here so I popped over for a quick FTF.
Only took 20mins to complete the cache.

Took GC and Left 2 x TB's + 1 x GC.

Silver with DennisC52, we had a great time walking and talking about where we are at on our closest to home puzzles. It was great to catch up and finding him at the first waypoint returning the cache gave me a bonus that allowed me to get a 24 minutes and 15 seconds find and sign. Loved all of it, great hides and a beautiful walk to suit. cheers TFTCSL took GC

10-May-10
I've never watched the Saw series, as I assumed it was just the standard shlock horror suspense movie. Maybe I should give it a go Smile
I walked the route under cover of pitch black darkness, just to add to the suspenseful mood Smile, and found a well put together multi, with some good hides. Great effort, congratulations on your first hide!

Took me about 40 minutes to complete, but my excuse is that it's slower in the dark Razz

TNLN - Thanks wilbyar!

A joint SILVER, with McKee clan arriving at wp1 as I was about to put it back. We walked and talked the rest of the way, with Mrs McK doing her best to follow us in the geovan. A pleasant stroll, and nice hides. Time taken - 38 mins. Took TB (Leigh Creek Coalfield), left nothing. TFTC.
