Handed the Buttons Travel Bug to Alex at The 2014 Walking Expo that was held in Rymill Park.
Alex has volunteered to take the travel bug to Oz Mega 2014 Murray Bridge and hand it to someone traveling towards Tin Can Bay.

Council are doing some repairs to an essential piece of equipment so offline for a while.
Didn't see any signs around gz but was using my less than accurate phone. Will be back.
Out for a bit of a stroll, and strolled up to this one.
2nd time looking, it still eludes me. Next time for sure.

Quick find today, thankfully.
Was in the area for a business workshop and used the "break time" to run out and grab this one
Brought back some memories though....those good old floppy disk containers...

Number two in my stroll around the parklands, This one was easy for me as I have two caches of my own like this in Guernsey and I could spot GZ from a long way off

After a morning of searching for caches that aren’t there anymore, Owl was delighted to make an easy find of a vintage cache in a park she doesn’t remember visiting before. A TB just capped off the pleasure!
Found on a beautiful clear day in Adelaide. Very nice hide in a beautiful spot! Met a few of the locals!
TFTC left a TB!

Found it, good hide. Beware, got harassed by local indigenous people who sleep in the parklands. Probably not a good place to take kids.
This was the second find on the first day of our three weeks journey to Australia with Giliad.
From the endless selection of geocaches in Adelaide (and the whole Australia...) we had decided to focus especially on the older ones. This one being from year 2001 ended on our list for sure!
The park was beautiful and weather just as summerly as we could hope coming from the winter of Finland... From here we walked to another cache located in the park and enjoyed the scene of flowers and green vegetation.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

We arrived in Adelaide in the morning and had some time to kill before getting our hotel room and being able to rest a little after our 32 hour traveling. In addition I needed some practice on the left-handed traffic (my first time) so driving around the quiet streets of Adelaide searching for a few caches on the way was the perfect answer to both of these. We've been lately very interested in old caches (pre 2004) and since Adelaide seems to have plenty, we tried to make the best of the offering.
The park the coordinates brought us was very nice. The cache was found quickly after waiting for a couple of passers-by to leave the area.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

Wow what an old cache!
The Smirchies needed a bit of a cheer up after some bad news so we headed to the Veale Gardens to sit and think. Whilst there we were able to find this ancient cache, good to see it's still going strong!

Wow. A 12 year old cache. Now that's some history there as well as the history of the cache location itself. A nice easy find on a glorious morning.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Alex for this long term cache at this site.

After our plans failed to have tea in the suburbs we headed to town to go to the pancake kitchen, after tea we decided to grab some city caches while its quiet, taking a friend that hasn't cached before he had an absolute ball, we cached through to just after 1 am, we could have kept going but sleep was much needed, we just had to wait for the bridal group to leave before going in and having a look for the cache, once there we found it nice and quick. 1250, GAFF1, Now theres a container you don't see anymore. Geoson did not even know what a floppy disk was

Quick TB drop off: Geocoin on its way to Scotland and a hungry Wolf from Canada that dropped in for a meal!
We arrived in the morning after 25 hours flight and went to downtown Adelaide.
This one was a very good hide!

Quick round of the park for a few more caches on our last night in town. Found with Outnabout. TFTC
With GPS getting me close, the name had me on the lookout for the obvious spot. A cleverly camouflaged cache was waiting for me. The grab was easy enough but straight after smokers from a nearby function spilled out and made me wait for a while until they stopped staring at me so I could replace it.

Quick find in the park while waiting for the Glenelg tram to reach the stop. TFTC
Found it for a second time while doing an SES Land Search of the area. Cache was replaced exactly as found and seems to be in good condition
A quick find and easily spotted from behind while the locals were having a grand ole time. TFTC!
Found when we went for a walk during hockey training for one of our usual search team. Spotted quickly by our super sleuth- the torch helped as night had fallen.
Not sure about the difficulty rating here. Difficult during the day for high traffic reasons; cars, people, people sitting at benches, diners in the restaurant. Difficult during the night for a completely different reason. Took GC. TFTC alex.
Excellent camouflage! Love it. Muggles abounded. Whipped it out and hid it in our jacket while making our retreat to a sunny spot of lawn where we could peruse the contents in privacy. Left a butterfly.
Today we decided to focus on the parklands to the south and south-east of the city. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The container certainly brought back some memories. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC alex.
We came to drop off a geo-travelling-bug. Unfortunately it would not fit in. But we took a geocoin!
Had a great lunch at the Pavilion. The sign has seen better days. Great camo. TFTC <>
Stopped the hide while waiting for muggles to move on, not realizing this was GZ. Looked in a few wrong places until getting the right spot.
Seems some ants have starting building a home here. I didnt have anything to remove them.

Easy find. Great place. Absolutely loved the camo - congratulations on a brilliant idea.
Since you did not have a writing instrument there, we left you a pencil.
Thanks!

What do you do while the birthday cake is cooling? Head out for a few caches of course! Walked right past this last time as focussed in a larger one nearby. Very good camo. Have been to a reception nearby and can highly recommend the food!! Thanks for the adventure.
Our 3rd day of caching in Adelaide, today we teamed up with Earthlight & with her local knowledge of the area made this a very interesting & successful day of caching.
This was one of the caches we found during the day.
Thanks alex

#2031 18:13:00 Arrived today here in Adelaide, flying out on Tuesday towards Sydney. So today and tomorrow are reserved for caching. This cache was a quick and nice find. I like those camo things.

Started my searching at night with this one. Easy to find, but with a big spider right on top. Took a pint-sized wulf, left a plastic coin.
I had gone straight from a late finishing day at work into the city to meet some colleagues for tea.
We had so much fun that suddenly it was 11.25pm and I realised that I still had not found my daily cache
So I headed her for the closest and easiest cache that I could see on the GPSr.
Started looking at 0m and said 'Oh NO!' as there was shrubs and more shurbs and leaves and more leaves.
So, I took a walk back a few metres and saw something that intrigued me[?]
Very thankfully, locus cache occurred at 11.49pm and my run is still alive
As for Lamb or Veale, either please
SL. TFTC alex

Love a cache in a park, especially when the park is free of muggles. Quickly grabbed the cache and signed log and was on my way...TFTC.

A simple but a fun cache and maybe the oldest one that i have found. An old cache is a good cache. Thanks
Mother and I were feeling a little slumped at home, but we all know what the cure for being bored is!? GEOCACHING! We thought we'd go and grab some of the city caches near South Terrace because we'd never been there before. Sooo glad we went! It takes you away from the hustle of the city and you can begin to really enjoy the beauty of Adelaide!
This was cache 2 out of 9 for the day, with 1 DNF that we'll grab another day.
I'd passed this park many times on the way to Glenelg, but never had a reason to stop, until now! Approaching gz, we heard a lot of laughing, or crying, or something, and there was a traditional ceremony taking place on the other side of the hedge. Luckily no muggles saw us, signed the log quickly and we were on our way! TFTC alex!

Love the idea of so many people walking straight past, not knowing it is hidden right there. Have decided to have our next picnic here. - somegtime soon. TFTC
On a night run in the city. The gps was telling us lies but was very quick to find. TFTC.
Found on a night caching trip with LionJRB in the Adelaide CBD. I am from Ballarat and I have very much enjoyed finding caches in a city I have never been to before. TFTC Alex.
