We visited GZ today as we were having a geocaching day in the area.
Our GPS pointed within one metre the two of us searched the area then expand the area but still no luck. I think it is time for a maintenance check as there are quite a few did not find listed. Thank you for bringing us to this part of the country as we enjoyed our day.

Like others before me, I had no luck here today. My GPS kept pointing to a likely place but nothing was there. I expanded my search a little just in case, but still couldn't couldn't find it. There were lots of cyclists gathered not too far away but thankfully out of view at GZ. Thanks for the hunt today Cheridolphin...
Found at 2.00pm. I decided to make the most of my son's first day back at school and take a trip to Heathcote to add a few more smileys to my collection then continue home to Bendigo via Redesdale. Thank you for the cache and for bringing me here Cheridolphin
Found this cache today. I was chasing isolated caches (at least 2 km distant from other caches) for a New Zealand challenge cache I am doing currently and this was the next cache I found today. After doing a few of the isolated caches I realised that my planned day would take me through many different LGAs today so I put in a few extra caches to ensure I collected a cache from every LGA I went through. This was the third of these caches. It took me longer to walk to this cache from where I had parked than it did to find it. Signed log and then continued onwards.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Beautiful day so Bogonghazy and I took the geodogs on a caching trip and picnic lunch to Heathcote then to Lake Eppaloch for a swim. After sitting by the water til 8pm we thought we should probably head home but took the opportunity to stop and find a few last caches on the way. Thanks for giving us a reason to stop and explore.
After 9 long years of study today the kids (4 & 6), myself and hubby headed the back way from Ballarat to Albury to watch hubby graduate. Naturally we collected a cache or two on the way! This was a quick find and a stretch of the legs before we hit the road again. Many thanks for the cache
Found while participating in the 2015 GVBR. Our rest stop was on the track to the west of here. This find was made with my morning coffee in hand. I chuckled on seeing the nearby tennis net posts, I'd hate to hit one at speed.
Thanks for the cache Cheridolphin.
Thanks for the cache Cheridolphin.
TFTC. Tor and Betsy, the travelling Westies roaming WA at present. We are from Oxenford near the Gold Coast in Queensland and thoroughly enjoying the West.
Reedsdale festival today! Saw my close mates (Mosey) play on stage. Beautiful day, beautiful town, beautiful music TFTC!
On our way to the Deni Ute Muster and needed the amenities, a quick check of the app a well deserved stretch of the legs and a nice easy park and grab. Thank you for the hide
Just doing a random selection of caches roadside on our way to Lake Eppalock today, and needed a convenience stop with a cache nearby. The only Muggle was a guy who pulled up to replenish the tank on his water truck which we had to walk past. Pleasantries exchanged. No problems. Top find if you are in the right corner and don't get bricked into some unholy mess!
Found at 10.35 am on 26th September 2015. TFTC.

On my way to Bendigo via Lake Eppalock and decided to take your Tour of Redesdale. A few workmen in the area today doing some maintenance but managed to sign the log without anyone noticing. Thanks for the cache Cheridolphin
Straight forward find and as previously mentioned, bright red Bison. Pristine park, T4TC
Quick find but the description needs updating. Its no longer a plastic container. You need your own pencil. Visited the "I Hate Manos" TB to this nano. TFTC.

On a day trip to Elmore with the geo-daughter we just HAD to do some caching on the way, doubling as survivor reviver stops. Found it, but it certainly wasn't the clear plastic container as mentioned in the description, but a red bison tube! TFTC
Found today on a day trip to the Heathcote area with my in-laws Mr & Mrs One-eyed and Woody the geo-dog. Not the clear plastic container mentioned in the description, but we found it straight away. TFTC
With Mrs one-eyed and our son In Law Imapom and his little Jack Russell Woody headed home from our day in Heathcote via this quant little town, stopping at this location to search for the cache.
Found this one okay.

There were plenty of people around today as the bush market was being held in the adjacent grass area, but luckily the playground was empty and it was a quick find of the new cache container and log. Thanks for the cache Cheridolphin.
This is another recreation area that is well maintained and under utilised by the sounds of it. The cache is not large enough to contain a trackable. SL TFTC
made a quick grab while others in the area where busy
thanks to Cheridolphin for putting this cache out for us to find

Sadly this cache needs a little love, luckily the people before me had placed a new piece of paper in there.

Stopped by as we returned from weekend at Lake Eppalock. Neeeded to look at clues from other logs to find this one as the co-ords are a few metres out. Cache is soaked through. Needs good drying out and new log. Tried to write on soggy log.
This cache is somewhat very water logged unable to sign the log. Great that there has been rain for this region though!
Aaaand on to the next one... well this is embarrassing... thanks anyway Cheridolphin.

Mikidos and I had a look around but it was getting cold and dark so we gave up, will be back another day for a better look!
Staying in Castlemaine for a long weekends caching run around and about. A lot of cars at parked at the nearby hall, and lots of muggles round the hall. Stopped to chat to one as we were leaving the area, and it was a Family Renunion. Picked up this little series on Day 2 of our jaunt. Thanks to cheridolphin for the cache.
Been past this spot hundreds of times but never stopped. Great spot for kids though they may need some help getting to ground zero... w/ bellarat TFTC
Definitely wear long sleeves and kegs for this one or bring secateurs!
As promised, the area was almost muggle free
Except for the muggle filling up the cube on their half tonne trailer with a tonne of water [:o]
Well there's an accident just waiting to happen
I hope she's not going to get that lot above 50 km/h or all hell will break loose [:o]
So with typical country muggle distractions gone, I set about finding the cache
And found that GZ is a dumping ground for your typical country types
Heaps of tyres and heaps of garbage bags containing who knows what [:o]
One of the bags was full of something soft, so I rolled it out into the carpark, so I could continue my cache search
And finally after fighting the spikey trees I made it to where the cache was actually hidden
Battle over and I had won the War !!
I wandered back through the playground ...
.. hey !! That Austin is a work of art
I wish I had one of those in my playground when I was .... er... about 30 odd years younger
TFTC and visit to Redesdale [^]

Sorry Just found this and checked to see if i had Logged it, NOPE, so now I have TFTC back then
GPS was indicating an area where I had no Luck after quite some time On reading past logs I had a rethink and got lucky TFTC Cheridolphin
Australian Day find easily accessed even though there appeared to be an event on in the nearby hall. Loved the Ă„ustin Australia"!
On a caching run looking for 6 caches before number 2000 and this was the 4th one and next. Drove into the rec reserve and was able to park very close to GZ then spent way to long looking and over thinking the whole thing before sanity prevailed and I finally looked in the right spot and had the cache in hand. This really should have been a quick find in the first place I looked but alas - 15 minutes hunting!!!!!!! Oh well, got there so thanks to Cheridolphin for this one, must come back and do the rest of the mini series.
This area is a credit to those people who look after this great spot. Cache found, GPS was a little off. Thanks
An easy find today after squeezing through to the indicated place - the entire area was deserted. Thanks.
Lots of muggles about! Took a slinky and left some plastic animals. Logbook is quite damp. TFTC
This was one of the first caches I looked for when I started caching. Didn't find it then. Was passing by today and with a bit more experience under my belt thought I'd try again. But it's muggle-central this morning. Working bee in the gardens and shed. Only had time for a quick and unsuccessful look before they came over to "see if they could help me".
So it will have to wait for yet another occasion.
So it will have to wait for yet another occasion.
This was a nice easy find on a beautiful winters day. Drove up to this one and realised we had stumbled upon a great little spot. Playground, toilets and a great spot to stretch the legs. Number 15 of our 31 in 31
Thanks for bringing us here.

Suscoe's first find of a trip to the north of the state.
All quiet here and the cache was located quickly.
We had travelled through 0 degrees since leaving home this morning with white paddocks lining the way.
Logged and on our way.
Thanks to Cheridolphin for placing this cache.

Quick find, relived childhood memories on the seesaw close by thanks for showing us this town
Angus the great GeoWestie here. This cache doubles up for us (me, my mate Bella and my Carer, grey nomad Lis Brown). It was another find and we will sleep here tonight. Thank you for the cache and thanks to the Redesdale community for the use of the grounds.
This cache was found during a Monday night cache run with Blacklegend, Trailrunning and Rebel Acts (TDC) as well as Poynts95 who came down with BL. for the nights run. Plenty of kilometres travelled during the run, with us starting early afternoon around Rebels home turf and finishing in the wee hours of the morning in Heathcote. A great variety of caches found with some really nice hides. Many thanks to the cache owners for placing the caches we found.
Found on a caching run with the TDC..... I was lucky enough to be able to cache with my local caching mate, Blacklegend, and the rest of The Demolition Crew on this occasion. I had a great night, lots of good conversation and great to again catch up with the TDC. My thanks to all the cache owners for their hides on the night. I don't think I can say a lot more than the others already have about the finds on the night. There were some fantastic hides amongst the caches, and some fav points will be given.

Found out and about on another TDC caching night. A fantastic run that took us far and wide, with the usual crew and with Poynts95 as well. Good conversation and laughs as always, and great to be out and about again finding....

A nice easy find here for us. Thanks

Every week I look forward to exploring new areas with The Demolition Crew, and this Monday nights run brought us from Eric's place in Kilsyth through to Gisborne, Macedon and finally Heathcote. A long night of caching these areas, with a few nice walks and a few drivebys as well. Many thanks to the CO's for their efforts in placing and maintaining their caches. Unfortunately we were only able to replace one of the two scheduled cache replacements as we ran out of time.

That was an easy one, but we had to come the second time today, because the first time the playground was busy.

#3880 2:14 PM. Easy find. Decided to go for a drive to Heathcote for some lunch and get a few caches along the way. TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx for placing the cache....
This was really the first find in Redesdale today. The sports ground is very well set up and was surprised to read it wasn't used that much. I was impressed by the outdoor kitchen as I walked to GZ. The whole set up looks like a very good asset for the town.
I looked in the wrong spot at first but soon discovered my mistake and had the log book signed while Tag-along waited in the car.

Came to Redesdale today for the bush market and found this series of caches in somewhat of a jumbled order. So this was my second.
I enjoyed fossicking around the market and even found a few exciting containers I will resurrect in the near future as caches
Thanks Cheridolphin

The facilities are a credit to the local community, no one using the hall or sporting facilities today. A lovely children's play ground too but no little muggles so I could hunt without fear of giving away hiding spot. I eventually located it thank you Cheridolphin for the cache
Found on the way back from Echuca.
Last cache for today ;o)

Thanks cheridolphin. Took a while to locate as we were searching in the wrong area. It was a bit of a squeeze to get to GZ. Finally had cache in hand
4/08/12 12:53 PM Find #1183 What a cool looking playground there is near here. We decided last night that we should leave Melbourne for the weekend and head to Echuca where we've never been and so we got to stop over here in Redesdale. It's a brilliant sunny warm day to be looking for this cache and now it has my name in the log. Thanks Cheridolphin.
Our GPS took us on a rather circuitous route to GZ where a familiar construction directed us to a quick find. As we signed the log four crimson rosellas came and sat in a deciduous tree only about 3m from us. They chatted away very noisly, seemingly directing their remarks to us. They are great birds with great characters and personalities. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC Cheridolphin.
Third cache for the day. Nice spot, the kids enjoyed the playground.
I think the tree near the cache has grown abit since it was placed.

All quiet today. Did notice the sign saying no parking within 10m of the tank which is in the middle of the car park! TNLN
Bob can also recall being here at the staging area on Black Saturday - gee how time flies.
Found on our way home, after the Kyneton Olive Fiesta. It was an easy find when we looked in the right place. Great spot.
