Found by Aussie Train Driver 12/10/2024.This one was a quick find with the family whilst driving to Apollo Bay. Great spot for a cache with the old railway cutting and embankment still easily visible. TFTC!
Got a little confused here and was looking between two small trees. Decided to give up and turned to see the OBVIOUS two trees. Tftc.
I found this geocache during a recent trip, however, for sme reason my log didn't automatically upload from my GPS as it is programmed to.Thanks for your cache hide and the effort that you put into maintaining it,
Staying around Colac today and targeting certain caches. Didn't get all that I wanted as a local in Forest wanted to talk to me for about half an hour and some caches farmers were working close by
*The Wes's Tiger Line Catch Up Adventure #5*
As SueHut mentioned, this cache was much like the Straw Man in Wizard of Oz. Luckily, we were both trained in cache first aid. After application of CPR (Cache Paramount Repair), the patient made a full recovery.
Thanks heaps, vp4!

Cache pieces were scattered everywhere and log book saturated. Repaired the whole thing for you and added fresh log book and trades
Found it. On holidays visiting family in Geelong. Came for a drive down the great ocean road but traffic was so bad we headed in land towards Colac and slowly made our way towards Apollo Bay. First cache with the family!! That was fun. Tftf
Found this one nicely during an awesome drive down to Apollo Bay and the Great Ocean Road.
Nice easy find for the geokids. A quick park and grab away from the rain showers
Very quick find, just lying on the ground out in the open. Putting where we think it originally was placed.
A really nice spot here, but of shade giving day heating up. Time to drop in Forest and go chase some falls.
Found on our way back home from checking out the west Barwon dam. Great to see it so full. Only wish it would flow into lake Colac!
With MazzyMay in our travels we stopped by this series and had a good time working our way through. TFTC.
Dippa46 and I traveled up from a Apollo Bay where we were holidaying for a few days. We decided to try and find this 8 cache series and were not disappointed. The story behind the caches was most interesting. Thanks for placing these caches for us to find.
After spending the past three days in this fabulous area, it was sadly time to leave. This cache was a quick find on the way home. TFTC and the info vp4.
Beautiful quiet area, just stood here listening to the wind rustling the tree leaves. Well hidden, even the real bugs love this cache! Trade made. TFTC
We were out this way in the New Geo-Vehicle, somewhere that we'd not been to for a good long while. Was a lovely walk along the section of the track that we did around Forrest then we stopped by at the tennis courts here in Barwon Downs then Mum and I walked down the old road to the cache. Very peaceful and serene hear and found the cache with little trouble. Favorite point from us for the beautiful new spot, somewhere we will forever remember
A quick park and grab today .. the Tiger Line sounds interesting .. I hope to return to the area at some time and further explore the series. Thanks vp4 for placing the cache
Container wasn’t even covered one but just in the open but I hid it for the next person to find. Thanks for the cache.
On a tour of the area today,
I kept crossing the line [:o]
I'd normally get in trouble for that
But today I found a few caches at every crossing of the line [^]

Spending a day in the Otway and exploring the route of this abandoned railway. Enjoying the journey so far TFTC vp4
Could see some remnants of the train embankment in nearby paddock l think. Soon found this one, largely because of accurate cords. Thanks for another in this interesting series.
**Found whilst out and about with TR! today**.

This section you could really see where the railway ran and you could imagine the bridge it would have over run to get to the station.
Love caching In these back roads, it’s so peaceful! Thank you for bringing us here.
Found on our way to Geelong to attend an event. An nice quick find that we saw from the car as we pulled up. We made sure to cover it up a bit better for the next finder. TFTC VP4
A sunday drive from Melbourne down to Forrest to do the Lake Elizabeth earthcache.
We decided your Tiger Line series was nicely positioned for us to attempt on the way to the earthcache.
The town was a good spot to stop for a pit stop , and it has an interesting information display board (undercover) giving a history of the area including the trainline.
The kids enjoyed a stretch of the legs and a play in the playground.
TFTC vp4 it was a quick grab compared to your others.

Shady spot to park and walk up and grab cache. Pristine sunny day with the birds whistling and chirping nearby. Breeze rustling through the trees. Life is good! CIGC TNLN TFTC VP4
Looked at the hint then looked over oh yeah i can see it from the car lol... sent my half muggle mum to retrieve as i wouldn't be able to get my wheelchair in that far.
Our 2nd of only 2 caches that we ended up looking for and finding in this series. Good to know about the history of the railway and identify where it used to run. The fact that the line still shows up on my old Magellan topo maps helps.
Thanks for the series vp4.
Thanks for the series vp4.
Our last cache today, we think. LOL Easy and lonely found. Took out the trackable and will take it with us to Germany. Thank you very much!
Found at 12:22 PM GAFF1.
It was a bit tricky here to turn the van around, but we found a nice driveway to a farm house - blessed are the farm house driveways
We just realised what the line was on our map where the cache was located - it was rail line
Thanks vp4.

After a great time camping at Lake Elizabeth, it was time to move on. We were not going to do much caching today but with a bit of rain around last night and all our fire wood wet, we decided to pack up early and visit some locations around the area. I have managed a few caches in this series. We were on the main road so a quick detour and a quick find on this one. Signed and returned as found.
**Thanks for this trad cache, VP4**. [^]
**Log and container in good condition.**
**Took Nothing, Left Nothing.**

One Family - One Ferry Ride - This Way To The Otways Trail - 3000th Cache
Saturday saw us board the 9am Ferry from Sorrento to Queenscliff, the smooth trip and views were the highlight. Leaving Queenscliff we made our way to Mount Moriac finding a few caches on the way before starting the caching in earnest. We had lunch at Moriac before winding our way to Barwon Downs gathering caches along the way. We found our 3000th cache then headed home grabbing a few caches on the way, arriving home in time to catch the Storm v Panthers game!!!
Even though we fell seven caches short of completing the trail, time was getting away from us. We had a great day with many a laugh and stirring. I am sure the area was echoing with "Found It!!" screamed out as Katy and Campbell's competitive juices flowed. I am sure I heard from the drivers seat at one stage hearing found it x 2, jinx x 2, double jinx, bounce off the roof, doh, followed by hysterics. Another incident was Campbell pushing past Katy to find a cache, to be pushed away himself, falling backwards on a tussock landing on his butt!!
We had a blast all day finding caches and thank the owners for hiding them for us to find!!!

Found it with Team FIN [kapeka & laalaa]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Australian Capital Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
Greetings from Finland!

Found It! We were going to try for all the caches along the route out to Winchelsea on our way home from our Otways adventure. This one sadly was to be the last of the Tiger Line for this trip. Had a miss on one from another series just up the road so we were glad to find this one in good order as working backwards we had 9, 8 & 7 already. Cache was happily sunning itself out in the open awaiting our arrival (or maybe the Tiger??) so we signed the log and then gave it some suitable shelter in place to help prevent an unwanted journey on the muggle line...TFTC
Time to find the rest of the series, my Auntie, Uncle and Cousins use to live in the station house and we use to play near the line. TFTC.
Out with Darth Briji for a day of caching.
More clues and more interesting spots along the Tiger Line.
Thanks for the Cache vp4

Back on the Otway trail to finish it off, plus a few extra ones here & there while out and about with alchey.
Beautiful little spot here. You can also still see the embankment in the east where the track once was.
A quick find and photos taken
Thanks vp4 for the cache

Find # 2002
As I was only 75 smilies from 2000, and 2 days left of the Year, I decided to hit the "This way to the Otways" trail, the Tiger Line trail and a few others that looked like quick grabs to get the big numbers before the new year.
A 14hour solo round trip with only me, ute, GPSr and a selection of music to keep my sanity.
I left home just before 7.30am and got back home almost at 9.30pm and had travelled 628ks
Another quick find due to being able to see the cache form the road. replaced back with some leaf litter covering it.

Geomap has the street incorrectly placed, but a beautiful rainbow and all is in order.
Number 6 this morning, so its time for a cuppa. Pulled over, had a drink and admired the view. TFTC vp4.
Found with Jamin Appleford on a big day out, we were heading to the Great Otways NP for a few days. I spotted it from the car. 7/7/14

Left Wodonga for a few days down the Coast with Hammer_13. She hasn't been to the Otways before so I thought I'd show her some of the awesome places, some with and some without geocaches.
