Out for a day of caching fun with BorisB&Natasha. We decided to hit the Cranbourne area as there has been quite a few new ones published since we were last there.
A lot of creative hides were found and many thanks to the CO's for their efforts.
I remember looking for this when i first started caching and came up empty handed, today however I walked straight up to it. Although I do think it was a lot more more overgrown back then.
Thanks XD1 for the cache.

The plan for today was Phillip Island for Pea bear & I but with an unfavorable forecast we decided to do some closer to home instead.
This was a nice quick find while passing through the area. TFTC

On the way home from after school care we stopped by to get this cache. Once dad found a parking spot we walked to GZ. We had to wait for two muggles to walk past, I quickly emptied the sand out of my shoes. So after looking in the wrong spots I found it, the log was signed then I re-hid the cache. We then went home, thanks for the cache. Campbell (7)
6.45pm Spending the morning with the grandchildren and then battling the Monash to get here I finally check out some cache before I need to go to my meeting in Cranbourne. Parked on the side of the road and did a quick dash, signed off and quickly back to the car.
Thanks for the cache XD1

Was in the area placing a couple of caches and thought I'd stop to find a couple on the way home. No traffic around in the early-hours of the morning, so parked the car on the side of the road and took a quick stroll. GPS was a bit upset so it sent me around in circles before deciding where I should look for the cache. Once close to GZ the cache was a quick find, even in the dark. TFTC.
Log book is very full and needs replacing.

This one took a while to find as the GPS was all over the place but once it settled in it was an easy find
Just stopped by the road for a quick find on the way home from a day caching with echidna44. TFTC
Found today while out and about with the Geodog. We had to make a mad dash across the highway because I had parked on the wrong side but after that little hiccup cache was found within a few minutes. Cammo has mostly disappeared. Signed log. Thanks for the cache XD1.
found this a while ago during a cache hunt, now i am finally logging it

Found on a weekend caching trip with 2nd Prahran Scouts. Thanks for the cache!
As the CO admits, it's a unremarkable area. Don't know why you brought me here, it's obviously a hangout for winos because all I found was dozens of beer bottles (some still wrapped in a brown bag) and heaps of rubbish in the bushes. I won't be back.
Found 31Mar 2012 - 11:15pm with two young geoniors.
Find #315
On our way home from a surprise party in Tooradin and the boys were all hyped up and awake from too much cake and sugar!
Shall we find a treasure on the way home boys?
YEAH!
After finding the local meteorites cache the boys were pumped for more. Saw another possible drive by opportunity not far off and so we stopped by here and made a remarkably quick discovery of the cache.
Quickly signed it and replaced it and headed for home and for bed.

Quick and easy find late at night with no muggles around. Needs a new logbook, though. TFTC
Took a while to find but persistance prevailed. Got surprised by muggles a couple of times so had to act casual by studying the plants. TFTC....
Parked in a side street nearbyand wondered up the path, nice and easy to get to. SL TFTH

Our big plans for a long caching run out west were squashed by cold weather and, on occasions, driving rain. Jsmyong55 suggested we head south, which we started to do, but eventually headed out east to clean up a few undiscovered caches out that way as far as Pakenham. There were times during the night when we questioned why we were playing this game in the poor weather, but a bag of about 25 caches was pleasing enough given the conditions. We decided to stop early; well at least I did before I pushed J to the limits of hypothermia (or at least a very bad cold). Thanks XD1 for the nice and easy drive by.

Out on our usual Monday night caching run, this time accompanied by rain and cold weather. We headed south today to clear some caches in the area and some which I have not done. Slowly but surely, we moved east instead of going further down till Pakenham when we made a turn and headed back towards the city. Caching in the cold weather isn't much fun but anywho we still needed to do what's necessary.
I had about 30 finds tonight and we had a few DNF's.
This was one of our finds. Stopped by and found the cache without much problems. TFTC XD1

A very quick stop whilst driving back to my accommodation at the end of a full days caching.
Been here a couple of times ( school times ) with no luck!! My son was in after school care today so when I picked him up I thought it would be a great time to have another look, found after a few minutes, TFTC SL!!!!
Nice hide.....I was somewhat stumped....the gps was going all over the place with the overcast weather. Just when I found GZ a car pulled up at the some time, had to take cover with the Cache in hand.....waited 5 min's to return Cache safely

Have now left the botanic gardens, so why not grab some more caches while I am on my way home.
Nice spot for a cache, Easily found once i was at the correct GZ.
Thanks to XD1 for the cache. Number twenty two for the day.

Nice quick find. I had to let a teen muggle overtake me, but once this was done, I had the place to myself, resulting in a simple find. Thanks for the cache.
At last!
We had tried this four times in the past and each time left defeated.
We had met and chatted to locals.
We had met a stray, tame cockatoo.
We had climbed a number of trees.
We were inept cachers, or so we thought.
EB99 had previously stated that 4 attempts was enough and she wasn't coming back. I happened to be driving past, pulled up and found the cache. Which was pretty easy as it was laying out in the open exposed.
I replaced and covered where I found it, not sure if it was the right GZ or not.
Thanks for the cache

quick find after shopping at cranbourne. No muggles around so made it easy to find, sign and replace. TFTC
Long weekend! Monday off work! There really is only one thing to do, so LouiseAnn and I decided it was time to attempt to break our number of caches in one day record. After much debating and deliberation during the week (when we probably should have been working) we agreed the Lynbrook / Narre Warren area was cache rich enough to support a big day. Also, neither of us have been caching out here before so we wouldn’t have the problem of clashing with caches that only one of us had found before. This was cache number four of thirty for the day. After a quick U-turn to park, we had a quick stroll to the GZ, Timing our arrival with a decent muggle gap. Cache was in hand quickly and we signed and replaced without any trouble. Cache is in good order. Thanks for the cache, XD1.

This was our fourth cache find of the day. Pathfinder24 and I decided to break our record of number of finds in one day (previously 15, we made it to 30 in the end!). We picked the Lynbrook and Narre Warren area, because it looked like there would be a lot of caches close together in this area. We drove past the cache and had to u-turn and find a park. We took the safe option of a nearby side street and strolled down the South Gippy Highway (How did you think of that cache name?? ) We had to time out approach to fit in with passing muggle traffic, but that was easy and we quickly found and logged the cache. Thanks for the cache XD1
EASY FIND. A LITTLE WET INSIDE - WHAT ISN'T AT THE MOMENT. DODGED MY LOGGING BETWEEN THE SCHOOL KIDDIES.
#213 - I was so happy that we could park so close to the cache. Nice quick find! TFTC!
Parked on a side street and enjoyed a quick walk to Gz; had to get in between muggles but thankfully not to many out; TFTC
This was cache # 9 of 24 for the day around Cranbourne and Narre Warren. It sure was a short stroll from the car, i had to dig deep to find this one. My thanks to xraydelta1 for the cache.

Another of Rog and other half of Zippi_Russ' pranks..
Find the cache, sign it secretly whilst the others continue looking for it.... I'll get mine back later!
Seemed like we were following GrassiKids around the area.
Thanks again xraydelta1 for placing this cache.

Found this cache last week, just forgot to log it. Would have been an easy find if not for all the high school students walking along. Got there in the end. TFTC.

We found this cache at 3:25pm as the 13th of 23 on our Danny to Cranny Caching Afternoon. Two quick U-turns and this one was in hand. Thanks from D, HA and A B-A.
Found by Mary & David at 1020. After a quiet start to our caching day, the roads are now getting quite busy. No trouble with the cache though. Our thanks again to xraydelta1.

07-08 13th find of the day at 16:07 and 1112th find in total.
As our closest unfound this one has been on our to do list for quite a while but we have just never seemed to have gotten around to it.
Today however with so many new caches popping up in the area we decided to pay a visit to GZ.
Unassuming place for a cache and a bit surprising that it is only a micro. With so much space at GZ, it could easily be a 200ml or better?
(''\(OoO)/'') Thanks xraydelta1 for the caching fun!

Finally got down here to do this one which belongs to one of my good mates and caching buddy, Richard. Located after a short hunt. Richard tells me that the cache has moved from its original position..... Still within 1m of GZ. Thanks xraydelta1.

We certainly know how wide and busy the road is as we parked in a side street (going south), and crossed it twice.
Took quite a while to find as I had it stuck in my pea-brain that it was a regular - not a micro.
Where I got that idea, I'm not sure, but I suspect from the person who read out the cache description.
She swears blind that she didn't, but she was swearing a bit that day - I suspect from the soggy feet!
Thanks, Robmc.

2 GPSr had us in 2 different spots and we needed to use the clue for this one. Robmc was looking for something bigger or so he says, I think he just didn't want to get his feet wet.
Found @ 16:00 with davroy today. lucky I had him along as the co-ordinated had changed since I loaded down the data and he had the new ones. Found after a shoert search. TFTC SL
OK I am guilty of not logging caches over the last year or two. Due to 2 operations and rehab it has made it difficult to log caches even though I have been mostly chair bound sitting for short times has been difficult as well.
What I have done is create this log in an attempt to bring our found and DNF's up to date so I can resume my normal habit of stories rather than a TNLN - TFTC.
Most of these logs will not include the owners team name so I think it is appropriate to say a Big Thank the cache owners for their caches and some wonderful memories of caching adventures.
Also thanks to Team Crackers who have made our caching trips so much fun and their help in working out what caches we did and when.
Regards
Mr.Coffee and the "I promise I wont let this happen again after all these coffee's er I mean caches are drunk er I mean logged" Coffee Clan.

One team member out with the Coffee Clan for an afternoons caching on a road both teams have used for many years and also watched the changes as it grew and also the name changes as improvements were made. Mrs Crackers walked straight up to this one for a ever easy find even on such a busy road.
