Geo-pup was finally appeased. We hiked 13km to sign a total of 7 logbooks - 4 x trads, 2 x puzzles (that I'd actually been able to complete) + 1 x letterbox.
We had sunshine and rain, but being Scottish, it didn't dampen my enjoyment.
The container here has a big hole in it. The log's been wet but now dry & hard. Photo sent to CO. I replaced upside down to try to reduce the water getting in.
Many thanks

High above Strathfieldsaye we found the cache. Thanks for the walk and adventure. Cache lid badly damaged now and log saturated. Didn’t have either to replace for you.
Out for our allowed 2hr break with LittleBoss2 and her muggle mum.
This was a great little stroll from the car to GZ where the brave hide was found right beside the path. Thanks Rissi for the exercise

Great 2-hour afternoon walk close to home with Bogonghazy during covid lockdown. Introduced my Mum to geocaching today and she loved it. Thank you for placing the cache.

Took grandkids out to cache. Lid is broken and log saturated so some maintenance needed.
Now that we can finally cache again properly this is officially me and catherinec19s first cache in some time. The drive and walk is very pleasant in this spring weather. TFTC a lovely location indeed

Found this cache at 11:35am taking my dog Millie for a bush walk and also to find some caches along the way. Beautiful sunny day. Lizards are enjoying the warmth of the sun on the rock. TFTC
The cache was damaged and we were concerned that we weren't going to be able to locate the clue. Fortunately, someone had placed it in a safe place. Thanks for the cache.
2:29 pm #9540
The container has a cracked lid but was surprisingly dry inside. We searched for the clue which was not on the lid, but found it inside the cache.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, rissl

Find # 4402
Found with sharkiefan.
a day in Bendigo for a spot of shopping and a bit of caching.
Time for a bit of a bush drive in the Bendigo Area.
Well i knew my Ute wouldnt get up this hill so we legged it up. after a bit of a hunt (coz the GPSr was dancing around) we found it in a logical place.

I get the feeling you could have a lot of fun on a mountain bike in this area. Today however we were in truckasaurus and so it was park as close as possible and walk the rest. Found after a short walk.
Today we were in a 4WD, so utilised this fact and parked as close to GZ as we could get. Clever Monkey found the cache after a short search. Whilst we were attending to the signing duties, a muggle rode past on his bike. Just after us, he promptly got off his bike and started walking. Hmm, I thought, I would have been walking my bike ages ago. Glad we have car … TFTC
A lovely autumn walk with the parent's geo dog. Bit of walking around in circles until I had cache. Love the Bush around here. Thanks.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
I like it

Oh this may be a 2WD track, but I didn't have fun taking my car down this track. I dragged Drozov along with me for the finds and did some walking on this hot day. we were having fun until I realised that I was about to run out of fuel. we will be back for the rest sometime soon.
We didn't do these in the correct order as we walked from 2 to 4 with our car parked inbetween

Found it easily after an enjoyable cross-country walk from Guys Hill Road. Got a little disoriented on the return trip when I came across a fence that wasn't there when I set out (I'd veered a little too far east). The sound of the traffic on Guys Hill Road led me back to the car easily, however. TFTC and thanks for the excuse to get outside for a pleasant bushwalk on a beautiful sunny day.
Bike riding around this area, good trails. Found it after a bit of searching, but great hide!
Found . Yay!! Now back to the vehicle for a drink and a short sleeve shirt!! A Very enjoyable excursion.thanks, but I think you may have a touch of sadism in you. Lol
In Bendigo for a few days to add some smileys on as many mysteries, multi's and a few traditionals. Plus a few caches needed for my A to Z challenge.
The suscoe cachers and the ageing Bushfire have the full range of caching gear with the exception of the kayaks and the wheels to get us to most locations, carrying all the technical gear you could think of.
There are so many bush tracks it is just a matter which one but we chose wisely and soon found the cache and the number.
Thanks rissl for placing this cache.

Well this was going to be a day out finding some of the caches that have been on the list for a while and a couple of new ones.
We were in the great company of Bushfire today as we were enjoying the delights of a late Winter visit to Bendigo
The last of the Trads were found and now for the calculations.
With one number no longer available and one number missing a letter we thought this through and headed off to our best guess.

I had to leave the car on the track and walk the 280 metres up hill to this one as it was too rough for my soft off-roader, though I believe you could possibly drive in from the other side after picking up number 5. I enjoyed the walk and needed the exercise anyway. The cache was a quick find, helped by the fact that it was sitting fully exposed. I signed the log and made sure it was fully hidden before making the easier walk back down the hill.
It was great hiding spot. Nice walk in the sunshine. Good series for a day out walking.
Another great day caching in Bendigo.
We found a large variety of containers and well hidden caches,
this being one of them.
TFTC, rissl.

On my 1WD, all terrain vehicle today I found meself pedalling the tracks in the One Tree Hill Regional Park
I missed out on "Saye Series #1" but rode on to get to GZ for number 2.
Arriving at number 4, I thought nothing of the mix up
It doesn't matter what order you find them
A short stroll around GZ rewarded me with the cache find in the obvious place
Clue noted, I rode on .......

Found all the clues of to the final location, again such a great walk, seen areas of Strathfieldsaye we would never have seen if we were just out walking.
The walk up the hill to retrieve this cache from the 4WD track certainly got the heart rate going. (note to self - lose about 5Kg).
I had to come back a second time as I forgot to get the clue for the final in this series so maybe it wil help on that weight loss programme!
Cache was around 7m away from the GPSr location.

Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Time to get out of the house and do some caches, had been looking at this series for a while and thought it was time to get these done, so off we went to get them all. Did them all in order and all quickly found.
Good series and nice "hilly at times" walk. TNLN TFTC

Found today on a trek through the bush, unfortunately it rained and its was quite a log trek with food and water left in the car! Eventually all caches in series found and a decoy to Maccas was made! TFTC
Found it! Didn't quite do them in the right order...and forgot that hills make the trek between each cache so much harder and longer! Had fun though it must be noted that this will take a while...so don't leave the water in the car...and keep an eye on the weather...and don't forget where you parked the car...adventurous afternoon was had!
Set out on the mountain bike to complete this series and a few other nearby caches. Approached this cache from number 5 in the series but still didn't find the right tracks to take. Ended up leaving the bike and hiking up the hill a few hundred metres due to the failing light. Soon found the cache and ran back down the hill to my bike and to head home in the rapidly disappearing light. The series finale will have to wait for another day. TFTC.
#2461 We had jumped ahead abit in the series and found ourselves at No#4 for our 2nd find. We had attended the Flash Mob and grabbed an ice-cream on our way out here, unfortunately its effects had well and truly worn off! The GPS starting bouncing around here but Dad soon had the goods in hand. Another enjoyable walk to GZ in spite of the heat. Cheers rissl
