#3383 - 14:55; On the way home after a caching run around the Beechworth area with fitzy_1965 and Sol de lune. We were up early and after grabbing a couple of caches on the way out of Beechworth, we were headed for Chiltern for a few more before hitting the highway and heading north for home. We had crossed the border again and were keen to pick up a couple in Albury on the way through. We were in the area to grab a couple of trads and a trig and having done so, this one popped up on the GPSr. It wasn't on the iPhone, but we decided to check anyway. Found a slightly disconnected frog in his hollow, but with a log to sign, we did so before heading on our way again. Nice to meet you at the Beechworth event skullracing and let me know if there is a problem in logging this cache. TFTC
9627 + 1079 = 10706. Found during a trip down to the Beechworth region with Sol de Lune and LuckyL10n.
Up early on the third day of our trip and this was the next find as we hit Chiltern for a few caches on the way home to Canberra. We stopped in Albury for a couple more. This was a real bonus as it was a fluke one of us had it in our GPS. But all good at GZ. We signed, return the cache, and then we headed off to the next one.
Thanks skullracing !

Found with LuckyL10n and fitzy_1965 on our way home from a weekend in Beechworth...
We were up here to grab Nailcan Trig and a couple of nearby GC Traditionals....and it turns out LuckyL10n had this one in an old PQ....and only 117 metres from the trig. Not knowing what to expect, we headed over to see if it night was still there. Arrived at GZ and found the cache sitting nicely in it's hidey hole. Condition wasn't that bad and the log was certainly signable, so we signed away, hoping that all would be ok.
Thanks skullracing for one we weren't expecting. Any problems with claiming it, please let us know, but with the log book and container still there....and knowing there are cachers out there who hunt down archived caches....I think all should good.

Found in the obvious spot, but unfortunately the container is broken as the surrounds seem to have trapped it, and a previous finder may have pulled a little too hard trying to get it out. As a result the container is full of crud and the old logbook buried. We signed the temporary log sheet. Thanks skullracing.
Our little amphibious friend has had his fun but it is time for him to hop off to places unknown.
Thanks to all the cachers who came up to visit our foggie friend.
Cheers

Sorry for my delayed and boring log but I REALLY need to catch up on old finds.
No#9 for the day.
Found on my roadtrip to Mega.
Appreciate you bringing me here and breaking up the drive.
Broken, but still a frog <3 very cute. Sad to see it gone now.
Cheers & T.F.T.C!

Hol-low-t of looking in the frog-gin wrong spot thanks to a wayward gps, but came back another day and got the find!
An early morning stroll with beastmode26. Bushbashing, spider web dodging and being shown up by a newbie. This cache really lives up to its name.
It's all in the name really, like the cache. Must admit to some not needed bush bashing but never the less cache was discovered! Found with lillieb05
#1276 - Great bush hide and a surprise to find this creature so far from H2O. Worthy of a fav.
Thanks. Once the gps put me in the right direction this was much easier than the last. Log book is full. Nice sunny morning.
Lovely little walk from. At park on a quiet Tuesday night. Awesome hide, groggy was just staring strait at me! Thanks skull racing for the cache!!
After a DNF at 'Goin' Nowhere', it was nice to come up trumps here. TFTC skullracing.
Came for a hike up Nail Cairn hill in training for Mt Bogong climb next week. We wandered around, making a few finds along the way. Enjoyed the themed cache. Not what I was expecting. Now which is the best way to the next cache?
Found quickly with the geokids (who had their eyes peeled for the huntsman & weren't dissapointed). Bushbashed on the way in & followed the trail on the way out. Great time of year to be up in the bush with the gorgeous wildflowers on display. Thankyou for bringing us to a part of town we hadn't previously explored. This is a favourite for the geokids. TFTC
Out taking the pooch for his Sunday walk and this was #2 for the day.
What a cute little cache we found here, Geotilly the 8yr old loved the find, nicely tucked away and very aptly named. We signed the log and left a slightly smaller pal to keep him company and made our way back down the hill.
What's with all the rusty buckets along the track??
TFTC and putting a smile on our faces.

#6 for my day on Nail Can. Watch out for the huntsman living inside this cache!

Our first ever find. My four children and I went our adventure together and found the cache. Thanks for the great time today with my kids, we had a ball. Then we went searching for 'No More Secrets'.
Nice walk up the hill, pleasant scenery and good exercise to get this cache. Awesome frog.

After attending the Myriads and Milestone event, we headed out with Team Crackers to find some more local caches.
Thanks skullracing for the cache and the hill,

After having a great time at the Myriads & Mysteries event we headed off with The Coffees to find a few local caches before catching up with a few of the group for dinner.
After having a nice quick find at Goin Nowhere we decided that it was a great afternoon to be in the bush and the track looked nice and easy so we decided to continue on to this one. Not long into the walk we suddenly realised "ahh, skullracing" there would have to be a hill. Fortunately it was a lot easier than it looked and we have to agree that there were some great views along the ridge. We're not sure if we approached this one from the wrong way or not but we ended up having to do a bit of bush bashing to get to gz where the cache name became apparent.
Many thanks skullracing, a favourite from us.

After a DNF at the previous cache this was an easy find and we have been able to say hi to the nice frog.
It was our intention to visit GZ this weekend as our firie friends advised that they were control burning the area. Cache is still is good condition although the log book is getting full - we'll replace shortly.
Nice hid, had to do a bit of bush bashing, starting to warm up snakes starting to come out saw a brown sunny it's self on the track, threw a stone to move it on. TFTC
Just going through and logging ones we have found and this one we went a very difficult way fell over once or twice but well worth it
Nice walk to 4 caches today early on the mountain.
Took the scrub way from the top and made a quick find with a poor Kermit looking very desperate to find water.
Just after this find a Park Ranger vehicle led a tow truck down the trail from the top with the news story car that got burnt out last night.
Nice walk whilst Karen was at the SS and A club at a course.
Many thanks to skullracing.

Finally got around to finding this cache as it came online not very long after we started caching.
We havent been up Nail Can for a while always saying '....next time when we're in Albury' it just seems daunting...not today!
Nice find for the little bullets
signed log and enjoyed the walk out.
Thanks Skullracing.

It was a stunning day so we decided to grab some of the new caches that had popped up, so we parked at the top of Range road and headed off. We were surprised we had not grabbed this one before. We followed the trail with a little bit of bush bashing and due to spot on co-ords we were at the target. Loved the cache. Thanks skullracing we really enjoyed the walk to this spot.
after knocking of work early i had one thing on my mind chose this cache cos it was nice and close to home. Appears i may have taken the hard track in......much to my enjoyment. Froggy was acquired after several cross country "detours" You will be happy to know he still seems very happy in his home. TFTC.
#704 on caching day 218 and this was another of those who's ratings really don't do its actual location justice as the number of different approaches to the final GZ could give various ratings it is however suitable and would not ask the CO to change anything as I love the challenge of finding caches in the bush but this one was a little bit of a surprise as you approach the GZ you will understand and to find the log was another piece of well thought out hiding.
Thanks for the great hide skullracing and will look forward to ticking more of you wonderful locations off the list as this was another worthy location and the way in although close to dark was still very enjoyable.

We started off strolling along a well defined track, than a less well defined one, then some bush-bashing and rock scrambling towards the Frog Hollow. Despite any frggy signals to guide us on our quest we made a quick, easy find it's good when a cache container gives you a laugh - thanks Skullracing for another memorable cache. Now all we had to do was try to get back from Frog Hollow to the main track!
Grabbed the Lotus Red Flyer TB to take for a drive up the Hume Highway to Sydney.
p.s. It was great to catch up with Skullracing over dinner one evening at the Oz mega Event - we will try some of your other caches next time we are in town.

[:(!] Went on an afternoon of caching, parked the geocar at the top of Gap Road and walked in from there to GZ, on arrival at GZ I had the cache in hand within a couple of minutes. TNLTBSL TFTC/TFTH
Really enjoyed this cache and the place!
Out of the way and cool quiet and natural!
I wanted to go off exploring. Thanx for bringing us here!

Some nice wee tracks up here made for a good walk over the hills and a good leg stretch. Cheers Gav [10965]
We enjoyed the walk to this funny cache. we also enjoyed meeting MattandJax. Thanks for this cache.
Found along with bogonghazy whilst in town for OzMega. Thanks to skullracing yet again.
Found on a great day running around Albury / Wodonga during the OZ MEGA, visiting nice spots and challenging cache, Thanks.
Bit of a walk to this one, and a well themed hide found too.

Happy to be present When Jacqui retrieved the cache. Enjoyed her company on the stroll in too. Interesting frogs up here. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache skull racing
Found by Mary & David at 1625. A great spot with some views here and there. There seems to be a maze of bike trails through here, Found our way to GZ with just a little bush-bashing on the way in. Met The Emongs and Polliwogs on the trail nearby. Loved the cache container. Our thanks to skullracing.
An earlyish start was made with the Jim/Josie Family to make this find.. what a nice spot for a walk.. we bumped into Rebel Acts a few times also.. This was one of about 30 today (including 14 FTF's), and 100 for the long weekend..Thanks for the hide, the exercise and the views.. TNLN Find #2312
Found with the Polliwogs and loved this area.its very much like an area of bush on the outskirts of Tumut. Thought the container was just the best I've seen in a while, novelty wise at least. Thanks skullracing for the hide Cheers
Found this one as part of our trip to the 2012 Oz Mega in Albury. Nice walk into this one and a pleasant surprise at the GZ, nice work and TFTC.

Found @1510 #1354
While attending the OzMega with ahomburg & Kwokka this was one of many caches found. 10th find so far today of 101 found over the entire long weekend.
Today the team plan was to clear out some of the Albury caches as well as see what we could while we were here.
A nice walk into GZ and after some careful short cuts was at GZ and the sight of a cool container, nice.
TFTC skullracing, another of yours found today.

Find # 1568
Today was day two of a massive adventure weekend caching in the Albury Wadonga region as well as incorporating the OZ Mega event. I would be spending most of my time with Team Kwokka (Brother and Sister in Law) as well as my caching mate and partner in crime, SedgwickDave.
Today we were to attempt to get the caches in and around Wodonga with most of them being in the surrounding bushland. It was now time for a bit of a walk and our final few caches of the day. This was a tricky one to access, but we got there in the end and made the nicely concealed and very cute hide.
Thanks again to Skullracing for the cache

I'm a big fan of frogs, so I couldn't miss this opportunity! Found a lizard in the hide who skittered away, so double points for us!

A nice walk up and down the hill in the failing light. I suspect we have been up and down most of the hills in this city and they are starting to look a bit the same. Chewin was sure this was the same one we went up further south.
A bit of bush bashing near GZ soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks, Robmc.

We first thought we would be driving to frog hollow but it quickly turned out we would be walking.
The torches were needed and although the croaking frogs indicated where we should be it took a leap of faith to leave the path and follow their clues.
Nice easy find once we made GZ
