Parked on the moonee side of the safety barrier and walked 120 noisy meters to GZ for a fairly quick find, thanks SB
Parked where the safety rail started which seemed a bit safer. Fairly quick find in between numerous cars
TFTC and thankfully a nice quick find. Had to be very careful getting into and out of the car.

Now that we are coming out of lockdown this cache is now available to find.
Thank you for your patience and to all of you who have been vaccinated.
Thank you for your patience and to all of you who have been vaccinated.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the NSW Government has ordered everybody to STAY AT HOME unless you are: shopping for essentials, receiving medical care, exercising or travelling to work or education.
While some people would regard geocaching as a form of exercise, we feel that this activity is NON-ESSENTIAL, perhaps involving unnecessary travel and therefore should not be undertaken during this time of crisis.
Who knows how long this current lockdown will last! Right now, every one of us has an important part to play in helping to keep our families, friends and the wider community safe in the fight against the spread of COVID-19, by STAYING HOME. Unfortunately, the situation is not improving and there have been an increase in the number of finds on our caches.
As a result of the health authority’s directive, we have decided to disable this cache and respectfully request that you do not seek out and claim a find whilst this cache is disabled. If you do log a find it WILL be DELETED.
Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to bringing our caches back into play after the restrictions are lifter.

Second day of caching in Newcastle and surround before making my way home south via the Entrance in the late afternoon. Again perfect weather today and a light breeze. A quick find and a quick stop within meters.

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, staying for a couple of nights in a park cabin at the Lake Macquarie Big4 Tourist Park in Mannering Park, to continue with our caching adventures on the Western shores of Lake Macquarie. Our previous visit to the area was in March/April 2018 for the OZ GeoMuster 2018 Lake Mac Mega Event, where our family’s chief puzzle solver had managed to solve (unassisted) a good portion of the Mega GeoArt puzzle caches that were on offer. And this new visit will hopefully see us complete most of the missing pieces of that Mega GeoArt, thanks once again to our family’s chief puzzle solver’s (unassisted) puzzle solving efforts. This was the 17th of 23 finds for the day, and 67th of 73 finds for the weekend.
A quick find after having to drive some distance beyond the road barriers to be able to turn around and get to the correct side of the roadway. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. Wow that cache container is VERY attractive TFTC Shifter Brains.

After my training in Newcastle finished earlier than expected (I probably could have got the last flight home if I knew) I could either drive straight to Sydney and sit in a motel or take my time and get a few caches. The answer was obvious so I just looked at suitable stops along the way and grabbed a couple at each location to break up the journey.
Next one on my way - very busy road but quickly found and disappeared a bit further into the bush to sign.

Thanks S&D ... finally didnt have traffic behind us to stop for this pick up.
We'll this was our first family cache, we used the hint and once we realised we were looking for a micro cache we found it in about 5mins. Thanks for a nice easy first cache.

Found with Beary_Unicorns on a very hot Saturday morning, visited trackables, tftc

After an excellent day out on the water bird watching at Swansea I needed a cache on the way back to Sydney to keep my streak going, only 3 days to go until I reach my target number of days!
On the map this looked like a likely suspect and on the drive up I'd spotted the monument. The tricky bit was going to be whether I could pull of the road in the traffic. Lucky, no one behind when I got to the monument!
The co-ordinates were good and it was a quick find. Not so quick actually retrieving the cache, that's a really strong magnet and a very awkward angle.

Found after a long days work. Few red backs in hiding spot so be careful. TFTC
Today we headed into the city, we had a cacher from NZ Tawhai Team who had not been there before so we combined our caching with sightseeing.
A glorious Easter Sunday morning, we found a variety of caches in some amazing places.
Quiet an impressive Welcome to the Central Coast sign here.

Rapidlywild suggested we head up to the Oz Muster event when it was first published, so between us and a few others we set out to solve the puzzles around the area, not that we got to all of the ones we solved, what a shame we will have to return one day to collect them when the mosquitos are not as active.
We had a great time over the weekend, grabbed lots of caches and met some fellow cachers,
Thanks Rapidlywild for another enjoyable geoadventure.

Its GeoMuster time around the Lake Mac. Been planning to attend this one for a while and was happy to see it get Mega status. Very enjoyable weekend away with FurfacesLL #1 and catching up with so many different cachers.
After a big day yesterday, we were up and ready for another day of geocaching
After attending the flash mob, we headed south towards Cachentine series, collected a couple along the way. No issues here.
Thanks for the cache hide Shifter Brains its been a fab weekend!

Not in the most obvious spot at this location but look around and you might find a suitable substitute cache location. Cache is in good condition and magnet is really strong. Thank you CO for the cache.
Very easy to spot but difficult to dislodge. I placed it back on the adjacent side to be less obvious but is still clearly visible depending which way you approach. Tftc!

On our way to Newcastle for the Ice Hockey, time for a few drive-bys! Thanks for the cache, Shifter Brains.

Decided to brave the ominous weather & headed south to cache around Gwandalan/Summerland. This was the first stop of the day, pulled over next to the sign, light drizzle started, contemplating who should go & find it, when Julie spotted the cache & she was IT! Yes, she had trouble with the strong magnet, too! Back in the car, out of the rain & out of sight of the whizzing cars, Log was signed & cache replaced as found. Good start to the day! It's milestone time again, but my target has flown the coup. Almost 90 minutes away, I'll need to be quick - and lucky.
And I still have 4 finds to make first. Luckily there are 4 other caches nearby...
Managed to get 15 for the day - best make the day worthwhile after the long drive - and 14 other caches besides.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Stopped here.
Another cache another sign. How many big signs are there around here?
Quick find. Two problems. One, there are a lot of redback type webs at GZ. Second, that is one strong magnet. Between the two it made grabbing the cache difficult.
Finally got it and completed signing duties, then replaced.
