I checked and the cache was missing, owing to my consolidation of my distant caches I will not be replacing this one, thanks to all who searched for this cache over the years. RS.
Officially a year today since this cache has last been found and unfortunately we’re not able to submit another found log.
OCW my cousin; we searched for 45 minutes with no avail, thinking as outside the box as we could.
Perhaps the CO could check again?

DNF. Lots of overgrowth with all the rain we have had. Looked for 20 minutes, 3 ant bites later I called it a day. I will return!
Several years ago this was the first cache we ever searched for. Did not find it back then. But got hooked on geocaching. Now with a few more caches under our belt, we found it. Onwards and downwards...

Didn't sign as my pen died but tricky little camo you had yourself there! Nice one!!
Didn't sign as my pen died but tricky little camo you had yourself there! Nice one!!
Spent a while searching to no avail, then moved on to fail at the bamboo cache to the south. Since today was all DNF's took another quick look and ... there she is you beaut! Totally waterlogged so posting a photolog. It doesn't reveal the cache location. If you need an additional hint it's a good hide like all good hides look for something a bit different and what draws your eye.
Found but it’s full of water. I’ll bring a new notepad down shortly, as this is now my closest to home.
Spent 2 hours looking and nothing
Found where previous photos were taken and searched high and low and still couldn’t find it.

The last one for the day, I made the short walk along the track to gz in the pouring rain. Once there it took a few circles around and a few looks up and down before spotting the hide, I exchanged some tbs too, thankyou
Continuing my Sunday caching session. This was an easy find once at GZ. TFTC, dropped off a TB as well.

Had meetings until 2pm and then was free to cache the rest of the afternoon. I had espied this little patch of caches in Lugarno for a while now; last time I was here I had only time left enough to go for the nearby HC cache. Today I was back to collect the rest.
I’m currently working towards raising my D/T average above 2. At the moment my Difficulty is 1.94 and my Terrain is 1.9. I’m going for higher-rated traditionals so to reach my goal. This being an RS hide with an attractive rating made it a definite must find.
After a pleasant walk to GZ, I found the cache easily enough. As previous finders have surmised, it looks as though natural elements have disturbed the cache’s original hiding place.
An amusing story about this cache: I have a cache that shares the same name Here I Am!. The reason being is that I have been inspired by many of the RS caches I have found and some of my own hides share similarities in the cache itself, the description, even the hint. For my hide with the same name, I wanted a name that was RS-esque and decided upon Here I Am! without knowing there was a hide with exactly that name. I was quite surprised when I discovered this. Cheers RS for all the excellent hides you have placed. This is 74th cache of yours that I have found.

Such a lovely little spot . Had run past here many times before , unaware that I would be visiting in different circumstance .Worth getting out of the house for. Cheers Rainbow Serpent.
This one took me about 30 mins to find not because its in a particularly difficult spot but because its in a reasonably easy (for its terrain) spot.
At first i was checking out all places high and low that i thought Rainbow Spirit might like to stash a cache before i went and checked out some of the previous comments.
This focused my search but it still took me some time because i seemed to be blind to the particular area where the cache was located before finally stumbling upon it and recognising some likely camo.
Im not unhappy about the time it took however as its a lovely area.
Only one muggle came along in the time i was searching who was out running with his dog.
Thanks.

After 2 DNFs, I was feeling a bit demoralised and was determined not to continue this fail streak. I went around in circles for quite a while before spotting something that seemed worthy of checking out. I was very relieved to discover the cache and be able to log a find today.

Find 2 of 4 for the day while out collecting points for Geocaching Australia’s Geosports.
Parking at a nearby entry point to this track, I enjoyed a nice stroll through the bush to GZ. Knowing that this COs caches are usually quite unique and with the 3/3 rating I was not sure what to expect here. Turns out it was much easier than I expected as a likely structure for the hide was spotted at GZ and sure enough it concealed the cache. Wish I had of found this one in its hay-day as I’m sure there was originally more to this hide than what it is now. No complaints though, still a great find, decent sized well camoed cache and plenty of points for Geosports! Signed the log and returned as found. Cache itself is in good order, dry and space on the log.
Thanks for the cache Rainbow Spirit.

Went hither and thither, then did the same again a couple more times. then read some previous logs that helped me narrow it down...then realised how easy it was. TFTC
Finally found it. ..although i don't believe it is where it started according to description. Pen didn't work so couldn't write in the log
Out caching with... just myself! Making the area of Lugarno unsafe
After HC this one was next. Based on the T rating I had climbed the rocks but didn't find it there. Disappointed I went down and grabbed my bag where I saw a suspicious pile. Yups, there it was! Yay!

Was apparently within 1 metre but couldn't find. Will need to return one day and try again. Past few finders have suggested it is not as originally placed.
Enjoying a morning caching with pipersand, headed for this one and enjoyed the walk in. The cache was found but not really as we were expecting from the D/T, sad really, but we signed the log and returned as found.

Loved walking through the bush and the entrance to the track past the bananas, Monsteria and warrigal greens! Like a past finder I think that the cache may no longer be as originally placed but no worry this is a magic little part of the river. TFTC
Enjoyed a lovely short (250m) bush walk to this one.
We found the cache but I think nature may have had a hand in reducing the difficulty level quite significantly. It was a lot lower down than I believe was originally intended.
WE replaced as found as couldn't see any way of replacing it i the original manner.

Did the hike from the bamboo, should have driven I thinks. Oh well. Looked round and around and around and finally sat down to think where it might be. Aha, there it is. Signed log with Happy Jackie. Thanks
Enjoyed the walk in along the riverside with Mrs A. As I approached GZ I was wondering what RS had in store for us. It wont be your every day cache hide I was thinking. i was right.
We started looking at the place where the GPSr was indicating and as I was having a "man's look" Mrs A said there it is! So up I went to retrieve it. The ziploc bag was torn asunder but I had a new replacement. Signed the log and returned it to where it belongs. Earned a souvenir today on this one. TFTC Rainbow Spirit.

Geohubster and I had 24 child free hours so stopped for some caches we had been avoiding with the geo kids. After a first stop at Heinrich Bamboo we ventured over to this cache. Geohubster spotted it within seconds. The lid was open so the log was damp but luckily things were still fairly dry. Grabbed the TB and SL. TFTC
Went for a sneaky cache with the CacheWizard69 this arvo in hope of a success before sun down. Forgot a trinket, so just filled out the log.

Parked and made my way down those steps. Having done a Duke of Ed hike last week I thought this venture through Gannons Park would be a walk in the park, which it was. But finding the cache easily wasn't! At first my GPS directed me to a place I really didn't want to search, especially after seeing a spider hanging around.
Read the logs again and spread my search wider. After going around in circles I changed my viewing angle and "There it was!" calling out to me "Here I am!". What a great cache hide, not your conventional placement.
Opened the lid, did the duties and replaced as found for the next seeker. Forgot to bring my caching backpack so no swaps or TBs to drop off. All good inside despite its location and exposure to the elements. Glad to see it has lasted as long as it has. A favourite from me!

As we headed down the path I was hoping I'd have enough energy to make it back. Walking walking walking and when we got close I decided to explore a little which allowed me to spot the cache straight away. Took the alternate park back up and I did make it.
The geodog guided me along the path, one wrong turn, but back on track quickly. Reached the GZ and spotted the cache quickly leaving dingoman007 and ziggiau to do the signing duties while I gave geodog a drink.
I'm always surprised how much more of Gannon's Park there is to discover. We parked close to what looked like a good entry point and didn't realise there was such a well laid out path here. We followed a path which happily took us right where we needed to be. So I start searching and the cheeky dingoman007 and MrSmash tell me I'm looking in the wrong spot. Huh? They had spotted it straight away while I was thinking too traditionally. Fantastic hide and a great little adventure. Thanks for giving us the chance to discover more of Gannons Rainbow Spirit.
After reading some of the other logs, I was pleasantly surprised to spot this clever cache just 10 seconds after arriving at GZ. Getting to write on the log was a bit of a challenge, and then it took me 5mins to screw the cap back on. It all made me Dizzy Lizzy!
For a nice little bushwalk beside the river on the way to the cache, park in Bayside Drive and walk down the steps.

25/10/15. 9:54 AM. Cache #3136. Streak day #490.
4th of 4 this morning - Lugarno.
After a DNF at "HC", I hoped for more luck at this one. I ended up parking on Bayside Drive, from where GZ was a straight line 330 metres or so (the twisty walk was obviously going to be longer than that, and was probably going to test the limits of what my dodgy knee would put up with).
The track was also quite up and down, so I was feeling quite puffed for such a "short" walk. When I got to GZ, I noticed the monolith immediately and did a full revolution just to check it out. However, the hint and my geosenses had me thinking of a different approach, and once I made to the likely place, found the cache straight away. Here You Are! Glad to get another find, after taking so long at "HC".
I then drove to the parking WP for "Animalogical" and while there, checked out how far the other WPs were. Nope, that's going to take a lot longer than I have time for today, so I'll have to leave it at that for today. Started driving for home and of course that's when another dozen new cache emails pop up, now that I've been out for too long
HIA! was a fun mini-adventure and worthy of a fave point. TFTC.

A classic rainbow spirit hide. Having read the terrain rating we knew we'd be looking for something with a bit of a challenge. Geodad did the challenge for me. What would I do without him!
Have actually seen it before when I was a muggle. Awesome spot. My dog enjoyed the walk too.
After a Rainbow Spirit DNF a little earlier, nice to get the mojo back with a quick find.

#1450 (4 of 5 today)
Decided to head to Lugarno for a few caches today - an area I haven't cached in before. 90 minutes resulted in 5 finds.
A few quick grabs and one walk into the bush.
* * * END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION * *
No time for the multi, the puzzle is solved (maybe), but need GZ coordinates from CO, and two traditions have either a string of DNFs or a seemingly suicidal scramble.
So ignored them all to come here.
Pleasant walk to GZ, despite taking one wrong turn. Once there I was greeted by a muggle father, two kids and a dog.
Waited for them to go past then started the search. One object seemed a likely target and a quick scan of it revealed nothing. Hmmm. Then a comment from a recent log struck me and I widened my search and spotted...
That'd be right. Sized up the grab and made it without too much trouble. Completed signing duties and replaced. Exiting GZ was a little trickier - curse you Rainbow Spirit!
Prepared to spend a favourite here for the novelty of it all. Shudder...

If I'd known this was a Rainbow Spirit cache, I might have looked in the right place more quickly. I just didn't think to check. As it was, we walked around in circles, trying to locate a bottle in the bush, totally stumped. Canary made a phone call but his phone-a-friend couldn't remember at all. It was while he was on the phone that I took a trip somewhere else and found the cache. It had been waiting to be found for so long that its personified self seem to call to me, "Here I am! Here I am! What took you so long, fool!"
Thanks
Thanks
#2843- This one took way longer than it should have. I think by the time Canary started phoning PAF's, we had looked just about everywhere, except here of course. As we were leaving and walking back up the track, we easily spotted it. I didn't expect to see a Rainbow Spirit cache all the way out here. Thanks
Our first geocache with the kids. A great location for it and lots of fun searching for it. Thanks!
Walked past this area many times over the years and when I saw there was a cache there I just had to try and find it. Was wondering where the best spot to get a view was. Went looking for that and soon found the cache.
You really do have to take your mind away from nooks and crannies for this one. TFTC!
Came with shadowills and D_blaze. We look for a bit then almost gave "UP". But we found it. The best hiding spot is in plain sight.TFTC!
On a roll.... wanted a sneaky last one prior to heading home for the day.... And this one was a treat. Along the trail to the coordinates and geosenses tingling. The Ninya and D_blaze were searching nooks and crannies. I stood back to admire the view...... Sooooo funny..... TFTC.
There i was after a pleasant walk. With such views, i would stay there too.

Long walk to GZ as I feel I parked too far away, anyway always good for you. Difficult to miss at GZ and a fun one to gather too. Last couple of hundred or so metres on trail is splendid and nice view at GZ. Great hide RS
This was a great walk, even with 7 geo-littlies, to see a bit of Lugarno, before heading back to the North Coast. Whilest visiting family, and in Sydney for the State Athletics, we decided to drop a trackable.
This was fairly easy with all the clues, and 12 eyes! Thanks for the descript too, hate looking in scarey holes if I don't have to.

Nice hide when I got to ground Zero I looked and not a lot of hiding spots it had me worried that the Gps was out and I had to expand my search but after reading previous Logs and Looking some times the best hiding spots are in plain Sight Thanks
"There you are". It was only after a long search and being on the verge of giving up before I was able to utter those words. A re-read of some previous logs and a gain in altitude made the difference. Nice short bush walk and great views from the GZ. I'm giving it a bluey! TFTC. TNLN.
this is a cool one. luckily we didn't need to be rescued, but it would have been a good spot for it. found with RML978 and aussiecamper at night.
Nightcache 4 of 5
Found with Donny and AC on a balmy Friday night.
Found by Donny.
Kept going after finding a pair of eclipses and going for a walk in the bush.
Thought this one might be a little trickier given its owner, wasn't disappointed!
Don't quite get the name of the cache though...

Great cache! Spotted the right way in seconds. On a way to the GZ was followed and almost attacked by nasty family of bull ants!!! Be aware!

Best cache of the day for me! Quick find and love the camo after I found this one I really needed a drink LOL TFTC
"Here I Am"! It sounded so simple...how could I resist? I headed here keenly anticipating a quick smiley...however, an hour later, after 2 admissions of defeat, I was on the brink of calling it quits for sure when the spinning gps had me a few metres to the side from where the iPhone map was indicating I should be relative to the path. So I got a bit higher to improve my signal and it was "£€€¥ me, there it is!!". On the one hand I thought I must be blind, but I'm not sure I'd had my head at quite that angle?
Anyway, freed the very clever cache SL&R. I also collected the compass rose TB to move along.
Thanks for the very tricky cache, RS!

First cache of the day! Beautiful spot. Doubted alraklooclooc when she said we'd find it in 5 but voila, in and out in 2. This was our mascots first cache. He was a tad too excited he fell right off the edge..
Easy one to find - literally found it in a minute once we read the description and hint. Nice view - excellent choice of location! TFTC!
Found on a caching spree with 'Sat down'. We searched for a while before rereading the description and Difficulty/Terrain rating, and then quickly made the find and signed the log. What a great hide! TFTC Rainbow Spirit!
Found this while out caching with "The Neighbs". Loved this hide, very clever Rainbow Spirit. So obvious yet so well hidden. Gets a favourite point from me!We scratched around for a while looking for this before reading a previous log which helped. "The Neighbs" spotted it and the log book was signed. TFTC
TFTC,
I got it and managed to complete the task before the rain arrived. But how cold it was while I completed the log entry. I enjoyed the view from 2M away from GZ on my GPS and shared it with a group of trackables learning where the Caches have been hiden around Sydney.

Had a lovely walk from Santa Claus (which we failed to find) around to this one> scratched around for a while and then sat and had a look at a few of the past logs and re-checked the Difficulty / Terrain rating.
That was all we needed. After that it was easy. How could we have missed it. It's not like it's a nano hidden in the most obscure spot. Nice one RS. Notice a muggle has found it recently while smoking certain substances.
Dropped a GC which unfortunately got picked up before I had a chance to log it as dropped.

A very pleasant bushland stroll from the cache a bit further south, quite surprising how the landscape changes from mangroves to tree ferns to good old Aussie bush. At GZ lots of possibilities, hmmmm. Checked the D/T which seemed to indicate a possible hiding spot and spotted it straight away. Left a couple of travellers here for the next finder. Thanks Rainbow Spirit, nice hide.
Not to give anything away, but I enjoyed this one because we had to get lost before finding it because it was in such a good spot.

Favourite of the three caches i found down the lower gannons park area today. This was a tricky one but noticed after 10 mins of searching its spot. Great cache, dropped off tb.
Find #1207 - 2 for today. Found on 2/01/12 11:27 AM
Not where I was expecting it to be. After searching for a while, eventually spotted the elusive cache. Sometimes it pays to think outside of the square. Thanks. TNSLLN

This was the best cache by far out of the 10 I found today. The "hide" was innovative & it was a lovely walk down to GZ - so pleased I decided to come out to his cache today, otherwise I would have gone home very disappointed.
