23-Sep-14
I had visited this site earlier with a DNF not realizing that I HAD actually found the tricky little cache, so went back in the afternoon to sign and claim my find. Good one and Tftc

23-Sep-14
Haha it hasn't been stolen, just moved about a bit by a previous dnf geocacher. I had seen one like it out country so knew it on sight, still a crafty hide though. TFTC.

23-Jul-14
When is IPS not really IPS? Hmmmmm....

Never mind. Lol! I'll take the smiley anyway. CIH and log signed, cache placed back where I found it. TFTC. SL.

20-Jul-14

18-Jul-14
A nice find with misssussan79

18-Jul-14
The rope hint actually put us off. But cache was found!

10-Jul-14
Owl wasn't sure if the cache was broken or not. It wasn't IPS and seemed less clever than she was expecting. A smilie is a smilie though!

23-Jun-14
Hmm looked, for, all types of things but note to myself for next time, don't do it at school finishing time, park was very busy with muggles and one young boy in particular seemed to take an interest in what I was doing so idled with tree and putting the netting back up and left.

10-May-14
My last day on the Gold Coast so time to go and find some more caches in the area before heading off on my homeward journey. A tricky one as the container could easily be mistaken for something that's not a container. TFTC, Biggles.

25-Apr-14

a steep little pinch off Discovery Drive. found it steering straight at me!!!!!!!!

19-Oct-13
Found another Damo!!

17-Sep-13
On day 4 on my Queensland caching trip I was able to grab 66 caches for the day. My mind was not as sharp today as I didn't sleep that well, but I still made a good go of it. The weather was in the low twenties but the humidity had me drinking pleanty of water. Some really top cache containers today which made the finding all the more hard. Thanks to all the CO's for their efforts.

03-Sep-13
Found with Poynts95 and Sportacuss. Out and about around the Gold Coast, focusing the run mainly West of the Freeway, with Pigwig and Herbz caches featuring heavily, including some nice puzzle pickups. Another great day out in the area. Appologies for the late logs. Thanks to all cache owners for hiding and maintaining their caches.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sneaky and bold at the same time. No trouble finding it and certainly IPS. TFTC.

08-Aug-13
This is our 2nd IPS find. TFTC! Smile

23-Jul-13
A sneaky little sucker indeed. I had some time between jobs, and took a moment to look for this one. Avoided muggle builders in a nearby house. It took me some time, but eventually I saw the bleeding obvious! So this is how the IOS caches are going to be, hey? Ok Herbz....game on! Nice hide sir, I dips me lid!

14-Jun-13
Interesting container. Hmmm. I now have a new cache container supply Very Happy Nice quick find with the hint Smile

14-Jun-13
Out with teamdfl for another Mad Friday. We zeroed in on this one very quickly and teamdfl made the grab. Very clever container. TFTC, Herbz.

15-Apr-13
Noticed Herbz had been to check on this one and found it was
MIA. Had to go through helensvale this morning so I signed temporary was in hand. Thanks Herbz, wish I had have found the original. I mite come visit when you get the new one up and running. TFTC. SL.

13-Apr-13
Definitely MIA. Container replaced with a temporary one until we can rework the original. Hint adjusted accordingly.

09-Apr-13
Add me to the list of DNFs. Was nice and quiet at GZ but came up empty. Pretty sure I was at the right spot. Hopefully next time. Good hide Herbz

10-Feb-13
Took us a while to work out the clue. We are confident we know what we are looking for but are worried that the very heavy rains recently may have flushed it away. 2 fails today, the mozzies are bad and we are heading home.

27-Dec-12
TFTC. A very creative hide! Had to look twice before we touched it!

12-Dec-12
That was different.

25-Sep-12
Rushing to find some caches before it gets too dark. Another very very clever one. Never seen this sort before. TFTC

08-Sep-12
Been a while since I last tried this one and with a hint from the owner found it this time!!! TFTC

25-Jun-12
We first looked for this cache yesterday evening after the sun had set. That effort was unsuccessful - just not enough light for a serious effort. We returned this afternoon and were able to make a quick find. The find was helped by taking the time to find out what "IPS" meant. There are a few descriptions that we could use for this cache but they would give the game away. Another really great cache Herbz - thank you.

24-Jun-12
Spotted this one pretty quickly which I was glad about due to feeling quite exposed. Needn't have worried though as three was no one about. Thanks Herbz

24-Jun-12
I still don't get the name. I was, again, looking at the wrong elevation while The Marble was, again, in the right spot and found the cache. Getting the log out was ok, but it was harder getting it back in. While she struggled with that, I entertained myself watching the lorikeet drinking out if the nearby water tank Smile. TFTC, Herbz. =^.^=

19-Jun-12
EVIL. This one took us soooo long to find. GPS told us we were supposed to be in the house next doors backyard... Found with kadin92.

17-May-12
Went here both yesterday and today but not able to find it although we think we know what we were looking for. We walked down the hill and back a couple of times but the only thing we found was some mad dogs which kept barking. Thanks for bringing us here Herbz.

01-Apr-12
this one was a little bit of a hard one but found it in the end...Im glad there were sticks around. Very smeaky.

TFTC:)

01-Apr-12
Found while out with my mum {Whint & Baddal} and my sister {Gambler2000} & Captain Terror

tftc

01-Apr-12
Hmmm... I have no idea what the clue or name has to do with this cache and I was glad it was found quickly by the ever curious Captain Terror.... I had to race back to the car for the tweezers and was also going to add a new log book but it seemed someone beat me to it as there log book was clean bar one other cacher name Smile

My first one like this so it was quite the experience.... the geokids were most impressed Smile

tftc herbz

01-Apr-12
Second cache for the day and second IPS hide, good start to the day. After a huge hike yesterday I'll admit the hill gave me some grief on both the way down and eventually the return trip up. The name and hint eluded me, I wondered how a giant golden guitar or an electric light would be sneaky. Next to the house but thankfully nobody around this early to watch us. Whint and Baddal and I set about examining the obvious structure and it wasn't until a few minutes later that I happened to move the right bit of camo and knew I had the cache. Whint was sent on a mission for tweezers and the logbook signed. Certainly took a bit more time than your average cache, TFTC Herbz.

01-Apr-12
Found it, honest, no bull.

Thanks enjoyed this one.

07-Mar-12
"We had "Take a Seat" and I know we have to be somewhere but can we please just do one more"

I can still hear myself saying it! I had been at this one before with no success and armed with new info we headed to GZ with knowledge and purpose.

We knew what it looked like and we knew we wanted to find it!!

Searched for a few minutes and Jackpot I came up with the prize this time.

The Log was full an needs to be replaced, sorry we couldn't do it on a micro.

Thanks Herbz TFTC SL Replaced offending article LOL

22-Feb-12
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Jinga2 at 2:00pm. We sneaked in and found the cache after a few minutes; very quiet round here today. Sneaky hide. TFTC

18-Feb-12
I'm just slowly making my way south for a week-end out on the bike. Smile

I had a search here and a search there and looked here and looked there but saw nothing. I read through the previous logs and something made me change my approach and so another round of searching began and I soon found the cache. Smile

nasty I say, nasty. Wink and a fav point for being so.

Thanks for the cache.

28-Dec-11
Why not one more while we were in the area, this is turning into a long day caching.
KateRX and I had been having a good run, not one dnf today but I thought this was going to be it. We searched and search and just couldn't see a sign of it. And then we realized why we hadn't found it! Haha.
Good one Herbz.

28-Dec-11
This one took quite a while for Noo82 and I to find. I thought we would have to give up, but Noo82 grabbed a stick and found the cache. Can't believe I missed it. Nice views from this little area.

05-Dec-11
Cache beat me again, it was the second time I had looked for this one but feel uncomfartable with the houses near by (and I have no idea what I am looking for) TFTH.

20-Nov-11
Sneaky.... thought I knew what I was looking for and nearly got confused with a fresh one close by..... thank goodness for sticks [:o] tftc

12-Nov-11
Kinda sneaky, kinda obvious but good all the same. The locals started barking before I got anywhere near the cache but convienently I sat down to look at my gps right next to it. Made for an easy signing.

06-Nov-11
Yep-sneaky alright, had us running rings around the park , following our GPSr , which just kept going around and around.Nearly gave up as we set the whole neighbour hood dogs off.

Previously logged under a team account. Re-logging with my individual account.

29-Oct-11
After earlier begin muggled out, we came back and with an idea on the cache, we found some poking sticks to search with.

After a small search the cache reveiled itself, now to get the log book out.

With the log out and signed it was now time to return the cache to how we found it.

Definitely first time to see such a camo. Great. Need a stick.

01-Jul-11
A great cache, one of the sneakier hiding spots that we have found today. Great work.

01-Jul-11
Would love to know the link to Tamworth with this cache. I was cautious to get too close to this one on first inspection. Great hide. TFTC.

01-Jul-11
I haven't come across a cammo like this before - clever - not sure of the link to Tamworth though?

27-Jun-11

OMG. Talk about well camouflaged. Couldn't get the log out to sign it. Will come back with extraction tool.

21-Feb-11
Found after a while searching. Log nearly full. TFTC

20-Feb-11
Found this with goldielover. No geodog with us today, we had spent the morning at a theme park. Goldielover has a bit of practise in dealing with this type of cache and spotted it reasonably quick.
TFTC

20-Feb-11
This one had us going for a while. This one should be called Sneaky Hide in Caterpillarworth. There were hundreds and hundreds of those itchy caterpillars at the GZ. I came across the cache and showed Stairman1. He wasn't sure about it until I picked it up. Surprised Very good hide Herbz. TFTC

14-Feb-11
Not in my ips

14-Jan-11
First time I have seen this hide but quickly spotted. I made totalube extract the log although he rightly said I shouldn't have a problem with it Razz. Thanks Herbz

14-Jan-11
Yes it is IPS, and it is very familiar Wink. But even though it was IPS, it was well camouflaged, so well that Lokipagan allowed me to get it Wink. To a cacher, willing to take risk, this was an easy find. Thanks

12-Jan-11
Called by for a quick find.

Being new to geocaching we are enjoying these IPS ones. Quickly found this one on a very wet Sunday. TFTCSL

07-Nov-10
Tamworth... Did someone say Tamworth... [?] No six finger banjo players here I tell ya, but there is a cache... Wink

Once the nearby hound had settled I moved in for a quick grab... I already had the container in sight, so it was nice and easy... Big Grin

Cheers Herbz.

06-Nov-10
Bit embarrasing to be so close and not claim this one.... its been months however better late than never. Thanks Herbz a challenge as always!!

31-Oct-10

31-Oct-10

30-Oct-10
Very funny Herbz.... Good spot as muggles will never near this one. SL. Thanks Herbz

02-Oct-10
Found with Bedmaker. Another clever hide in the series, I'm enjoying these. I wonder what surprise the next one has in store for us. TFTC

02-Oct-10
Found with TassieGirl13 on a day doing caches closest to her place.
Arrived here to a pretty quiet park so we wandered over and saw the marked spot.
TFTC.

23-Sep-10
This was cache # 11 of 13 for the day, on my last caching around the Gold Coast. I found this one with out any trouble thankfully as that near by dog was going nuts, I still don't get the hint are you saying Tamworth is %$^$ My thanks to Herbz for the cache.

04-Sep-10
found thanks.

28-Aug-10
WOW clever hide well...

03-Aug-10
Found it No. 2930 ... another nice hide by the Herbz ... TNLN TFTC

26-Jul-10
Took my granddaughter with me for this find after I picked her up from school. Had to reward her for two previous finds with some hot chippies and a cool drink on the way here. Not the best cache to deal with at a time like that. Thought for a minute we'd have trouble signing the log, but was all o.k. Thanks for another great cache Herbz. You must live in Helensvale. TNLNSL.

26-Jul-10
[Last find of the day as I race towards my goal of 300 by 28 July, my 12 month anniv of caching. This was easy at 5pm but if anyone had seen me replace the cache container, my face would have been shocking pink. ] Needed a tool to extract the log. [Now have all 6 IPS caches under my geobelt and loved them all thanks Herbz. Also, did 3 Herbz caches today and really enjoyed them. Made for a good geo-expedition. ]
