Logs
Felt fairly confident with this one right up until we gave up on it. Logs were positive, the pictures gave clues, even the hint was concise. But no luck for us - will search again when another found is logged.
Mrs HHunter, MidiK, and MiniJ, out for a big ride this morning, on new bikes with bigger wheels! Nearly sure we found the GZ, with hanging material and dog clip, but no cache attached.
Didnt find it, there was a net fisherman with his gear all over the rocks. The kids found a muzee that i capped a while ago, hoped that meant i was close. Looked under everything close. But with the kids not staying put and running off, cant say ive looked as well as id like.
Logged with Gracermr on our ride around the estuary whilst the car was serviced. Final cache of the ride and good to get a find after a couple of DNFs. Easy find thanks.

Our second find on this walkway. We were pleased to find a Rattll rock as we are collecting them up to take to the Rattling Zoo in Wellington. We left a little pen, ideal for caching. I hope one of those people who log that they forgot a pen to write in the logbook will take it as it can easily live in a pocket.
Found with renelm and Difool, logged as RAD to save log space, time and trees.
I am not much of a logwriter, so see renelms, and possibly Difools, log for details.

This one was missing in the matrix for placed months or date or something for aedk, so we took our morning walk to this one (.. from the parking spot just a little back;))
Cache was a quick find - not so many places it could be..

An easy find while out on the bikes on this beautiful day. Things a little damp inside but easy enough to sign today. Thanks for bringing me here. <,))))>
Mr All7ofusNZ and Jr Cacher #2 were off for a walk along the loop to seek out some of the local caches. Soon had this one spotted and logged before setting off again.
Going round the loop on our bikes, nice quick find with a few muggles on the track.

Kids biked ahead and the cache was found and signed before I even arrived! TFTC.
Found the cache and the associated Munzee. Second one of the day for us whilst cycling the loop. TFTC!
13:00
This was nic cache on the track around the bay. I just did the half circle, and found some caches.
A lot of people on the track, even whenit was just after lunch time.

Mr S navigated to a nearby parking area and then both of us walked down but Mrs S could not make it to GZ.
Much too high, so Mr S went and found on his own. Well done Mr S and thanks hotwheelsnz.

another DNF for us. Looked to right of edge of concrete, and right of concrete footing, under rocks, in grass to no avail.

Easy cache to find. Nice walk. Always intended to do this walk and your geo-cache made me do it. Thanks.
Cycled the Waikareao Estuary Walkway loop with the kids. Took us about 2.5 - 3 hrs including looking for 9 caches and a few snack breaks. Great walkway. 6 y/o son spotted this one quite quickly. TFTC. #47
A nice afternoon stroll in the sun after work. The tide was out and the herons were patrolling the waters edge looking for tasty morsels. The cache was readily found using the hint, and everything was nice and dry. The listed geocoin was nowhere to be seen. TFTC
On a mission today: 1) to find my 600th cache, 2) to make a dent in the caches around the Waikareao Estuary Walkway, 3) to find as many caches around Otumoetai area.
Walked down from another cache. Took a moment to get bearings before finding the cache. TFTC.

Cycled around the estuary in a clockwise direction and this was our last cache in the loop. A couple of guys up on the overbridge taking sunset photos with some flash looking gear.
MAny thanks

First time around the estuary for me, on a pleasant day for a walk. First hotwheelsnz cache found, followed soon by a 2nd as we continued wandering widdershins on the Waikareao walkway.

found this one pretty easy, but had to be sneaky sneaky, lots of muggles..
Found on a day spent wandering around Tauranga while waiting for my car to be repaired. Found 7/8 caches. Left sheriff badge, transistor, took toy car. TFTC
Started to do the Waikareao Estuary Walkway loop with our doggies. Wanted to take the doggies to the other side, seems a bit safer to walk.
No tb inside but a quick found.
Thanks for showing this place.

Did one of these fly over bridge caches, but not sure if it was this one or not - I think it was. Left a pet rock - a brown seal. TFTC
Found it from the clue, but not the co-ordinates which appear to be about 17 metres out, according to our GPSr.
It is a great spot. Thanks for the cache.

finally made the attemp to go and find the cache . the idea was to bike the track and do the caches in one trip but ended up piece by piece . short walk to cache ,easy find . TFTC
In Tauranga briefly overnight. went for a stroll around before the function I was here for. TFTC
We where doing the walkway loop, would have been terrible if we didn't take the chance to cache.
Nice place for taking pictures, found in multinational team (1x Czech | 1x Argentina | 1x Germany | 1x Korea). No muggles around, nice weather conditions, good team = very good hunt overall:)TFTC!
Thanks for bringing me here. love the view from the fly over, and just a quick walk from the motel
#503 - This is second time lucky for us and this time we found it quite quickly. In: Geocoin Lapu-Lapu Out: car (to make room for the coin) TFTC
A night away in Tauranga, and every minute of my time was allocated - no time to spare. No point taking GPS. No point downloading any waypoints.
So I woke up in the morning, at 6:30am. What to do with myself?
Downloaded waypoint on the ipod from motel wifi, running out of battery power, drove/walked (could have walked the whole way) to the area in question, tried to find using only maps. One minute in, geocaching app decided it didn't have the map, had to go on memory & clue. Couldn't remember how far from the landmark the cache was (didn't know the scale), so ended up covering every (clue) for about a kilometer. Nearly got muggled by a lady walking her dog, who wanted to know if I was looking for something - fortunately, that was about a kilometer from the cache at the time. Then realized what the clue was referring to.
Took whistle.
Left red nose for red nose day, Friday 15 July 2011. Go see

Found this one nice and easy but not the other flyover beautiful day and good walk
Quick find thanks to the hint. We also found that the co ords were astray (the new co ords). Mosh enjoyed the walk along the track and really wanted to go swimming but I wouldn't let him (wet dog and dry car are not a good match!). Collected coin. TFTC
