All the trees along the fence line is gone now... nomore trees for the cache to be placed.
Found at 12:11:00 PM. In Dunedin for the Mega and seeing some of the sights in the city. A nice quick find and another brilliant cache container.
Thanks AdventureTharon
Thanks AdventureTharon
Looked for about 5 minutes and then gave up. Too long for a difficulty 1 cache IMO. Shame - seems to have plenty of favourites. TFTH.
Caching in the area this afternoon and this one is next on the list. Two halves. These trees. I wonder. GPSr had me in a spot and I began my search. Not there. Then I had and inspiration moment. Oh there it is. Seen these containers before or similar. Glad I brought my micro tools. The hiding spot is well concealed and reachable. TFTC.
During our 22 day trip in new zealnd we have found a daily bunch of caches
We have done all of them with the four belgians - fieldi, team cabdriver, fonduvork and me.

Great Hide.. I actually have one very similar back in Auckland. Thanks for all the caching fun this weekend. NZMega. TFTC.
Passed by here while out and about caching with rosmar during the mega event. Great cache container spotted immediately upon arrival at GZ. Nice one and contrary to other log(s) a 1 difficulty rating would be appropriate here - it is after all in plain view! Nice one. TFTC!!!
Arrived at GZ and a car pulled up behind us with the log in hand - he had just taken it away to buy some paperclips to remove the log. We provided tweezers from our caching gear and soon had it signed and returned to the correct place. #105th Mega cache for MacPacMum
Had overheard you telling another cacher about this cache container, but didn't know which one you were talking about until we found it. TFTC
TFTC. We stopped a litte past the cache and as we hopped out of the car another pulled up a little behind us. Oh well we could morph into tourists interested in the golf course. However the car loked a little suspicious and sure enough we meet a fellow cacher who was returning the cache.
Very nice container. Safely returned to its correct home.
A favourite vote from me.

Out and about tiki touring on the outskirts of Dunedin. Hehehe, clever hide, soon uncovered. SL. TFTC.
577 - This was the easiest cache of the day. I was out with macpacmum and purdiepurdie and we were heading back towards Dunedin after visiting the airport. We had just parked when a car pulled up behind us. When the guy got out with what appeared to be a cache in his hand I assumed this was the CO, but NO it wasn't. He couldn't get the log out so had taken the cache with him to get a paperclip to get the log out. We had the right tools and log was soon extracted and signed. He replaced back where we thought it was and we took a few pix of it in situ. Very nice!
6.11pm. Back for a second look for this after talking with the CO at the MEGA.
Got it this time, not sure how JF missed it the first time

Found whislt caching with teams "Just Floundering","The Pud" and Oscartello as part of attending the first New Zealand MEGA event. Quick easy find. TFTC cheers, Kamikaze.
6.10pm. We had failed to find this cache in the dark last night. Had a brief talk with the cache owner at the Mega event and thought we should give it another go in daylight. So much more to see this time. Found where we thought we had looked in the torchlight the previous night.

In Dunedin from Whangarei with flowernz for the MEGA having a great time finding some of the south caches. Really enjoying the locations the caches are taking us to.On our way back to Dunedin after visiting Riverton. Cool cool cache container, first of this type I have seen, gave us a bit of a hunt which was fun. Raining so no muggles in sight....fav from me. TFTC
First stop on our way out of town, heading to the West coast. Found quickly and took back to the car to sign as the rain was just starting. Cool hide. Thanks for the hunt AdventureTharon
Yep we did!! Our 32nd find for the day on our trip south to Riverton - an old haunt of mr flowernz's!!
Nearly gave up as it was so cold and we were nearly home - but glad we didn't - great camo - first of this sort for us... TFTC

Was in Dunedin to attended the first ever Mega in New Zealand. Managed to work it out so that I was able to team up with fozzmiester and agcnz and go on an 8 day caching trip around the South Island, this was day 2 of the road trip.
After finding GC1YAVM - Want to......?? (Otago), this was the next cache that we had on our list of caches that we were going to find today, was quite interesting looking back at the direction that we had just come from and the elevation drop from 300plus metres down to 24 metres, was glad that I was in a car and didnt have to bike it today.
As we arrived near GZ we were able to find a parking spot not too far from GZ and it was a quick and easy walk to GZ, as we arrived we notice the spots that others have being looking today and was quickly rewarded with the cache. Glad to have found this cache quickly signed and replaced and then back to the car, thanks for placing this cache here and for bringing us to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (4990). Glad it was a quick find as this road is quite narrow, now to the next cache on our list....

Came here with fozzmiester and Yeetrees on a drive around Mosgiel before heading out to the MEGA event. Cache was found after a short search - signed log, TFTC!
A very nice hide which I was pleased that we found in a fairly quick time. TFTC
Found as part of an 8 day NZ Mega Event trip. Day 2 - Dunedin and surrounds. Thanks to the owners of the 500 + caches which I had the pleasure to find along the way and which contributed to a very fun trip.

10.00pm. Its pitch black out here at night. The meager glow of the combined torches of The Pud, Kamikase and JF could not locate. Oh well, perhaps another time.

The NZ Mega starts (officially) today, so I headed out to the ol’ Scout Camp to spend some time socialising & caching...
Tagged along with Sully1, Bogonhazy, tackle_head & The Empire for the day... Had a fantastic day caching, laughing, sightseeing & laughing (Does it get any better than this???)
Grabbed this cache whilst travelling & taking in the fantastic views around the area... What an absolutely beautiful country to explore and photograph...

Today our group consisted of Sully1, Tacklehead, The Empire and Snaphappy1.
We had a great day touring the town, got our feet wet wading across creeks, climbed trees, and generally had a heap of laughs and finds.
Thanks again Adventure Tharon, gotta give it a fave, close to my 2nd favorite game, and for the great work put into it

Found on a day out along with bogonghazy, tackle_head, snaphappy1 and The Empire, whilst here for NZ Mega. We had a fantastically enjoyable day, good caching, good company, many laughs shared, and above all good team work. Thanks to the CO for this hide, and for bringing us here today. Greetings from Oz.

Nursing a miserable cold as j-s-e-a and I head to the Mega. Still enjoying the scenery though - awesome!TFTC!!
We arrived in Dunedin early Friday morning with a plan to find a number of caches in and around Mosgiel & Brighton before heading to the NZ Mega Event. This cached did not immediately reveil itself buit on a closer look spotted the well camoed cache container. We had just returned the log back in its hiding place when boxhill arrived (nice to meet you). Well done & TFTC.
Not a muggle in sight this morning. Blowing a gale and COLD. Very nicely done container and good parking for our over size hired cache camper. NINO TFTC

I like these ones. Only a fe muggles around today. Wet drizzly weather kept them off the course me thinks.
After securing a safe park Wazza&Kara and I went to work.
Not before too long we had the prize in hand. A well maintained cache thanks AdventureTharon.
Nice wee spot off the main road.

Found this sneaky cache with Skibeagle163 whilst visiting Dunedin for the Mega Event.
It was the keen eye of the Beagle that made the find. With the logbook signed, everything was made right again.
A very suitable choice of cache container for the surroundings.

Having spent the night in Invercargill with the Walenators we visited the Indian and then decided to trip pick up a few caches on the way to Dunedin. A quick find luckily as the temperature has dropped. A sneaky cache, well done.
With such a low D-rating on a camo-cache, one cannot expect great logs. This is a DNF: We spent 15 minutes going through everything around GZ.The D-rating should really reflect the difficulty of the cache, but hey, that's just me..

19/08/2012 #76 Found this cache on the second visit. It pays to think outside the box, I was sure I was looking for something related to the activity in the area. I have seen one of these caches before over at Brighton and thats what made me think that it could be a cache like that, and it was. A great idea. SL TFTC.
PS. The log was very hard to get out of the cache. Lucky I had tweezers in my car.

That I did! Thought thats what I might be looking for! A quick find on my way to Dunedin for a caching trip. TFTC
Had been here a couple of weeks earlier but got scared off by the club-wielding muggles nearby. This time they must have all been at the 19th hole. The cache wasn't what I had been expecting.... it was heaps better! Awesome camo, loved it. Gets a favorite from us. TFTC
Don't give up 1st time.. don't even give up 2nd time... try yet again ! Bingo !!! Fluffy's third effort to find this cache was rewarded, albiet with the help of one of the cats from Dakota . A great and frustrating hide-away worthy of evil intent.
wet feet after not watching where I was stepping. Didn't find and gave up after 10 minutes of looking
Had to navigate the mud to accidentally stumble on this one, but this is one of the best caches I've seen yet! Great work! Favourite point from me on this one.
After 3 lighthearted attempts, finally found it! 'Magnetism' must rank as highly as the 'wheel' as far as inventions/discoveries are concerned HOTA
Very cool idea, had a bit of trouble to find it but finally: got it!

We had to find this one the day after the sonia's meet and greet at the Ra Bar where we sat with Mrs AdventureTharon and had a lovely night chatting and eating gorgeous food. Great lttle cache. Gets a favourite from us.
TFTC. Mrs AdventureTharon persuaded us at sophies get together at the Ra Bar to go have a lookfor this one. Nice little cache.
I was glad to see this one was available again as I'd missed out on the first version due to forgetting about it and flying past the turn off at a rate of knots several times.
Had had success with another reactivated cache in the area tonight so I thought it would be worth a crack.
Tried several search areas before the right one was found and I must admit I had a bit of a whoop whoop! moment when I noticed something and it proved to be the right thing.
A great and most appropriate container there.

So cool this cache. Glad it is back, last visit it was gone so glad it has returned. TFTC
Pleased we were able to find this cache today as the last time we visited it had gone missing.
Thanks for an awesome cache!

Got this one on the way in from the airport, mum said I just HAD to find it, so we stopped by, and I was therefore expecting to be looking for camo, but GPS had me in the wrong place!
Eventually it was spotted, but then I had the issue of not being able to reach it! Haha, but I was a bit grossed out by the earwig that craweled out of the camo! Scary!
Still managed to get the logbook signed though!
Lovely awesome as camo though! It's really neat!
