Found It!
That's a sneaky hide. After a bit of wandering around I spotted something that didn't quite seem right and it turned out to be the cache!

Not like us to forget to log a cache. Ha.
Came back here today to refind this cache and the last two near by.

We had the river to ourselves today which surprised us being a long weekend.

River is up quite high too. Couldn’t get through to Karadoc sand bar.

We had a great drive around the river tracks and finding your cache.

Hired a boat for the day and thought we'd do some caches of a different kind. Having a great day seeing some beautiful sights.
Thankyou for the creativity and thought that has gone into this cache.

Could only get so far with driving to this one but made an easy walk in and soon began my search, took a few minutes to locate this sneaky hide but well worth the effort. Thanks again doheng for the hide and for the chance to come out and explore this area.

Found on a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Team Waldron, Brisal5 and FeatherWaite. Our main targets were the Paddle Steamer and Turtle geoart series' but we also took the opportunity to seek out a few other caches along the way.

We were fortunate with the weather. After a burst of very hot days, we timed our trip nicely to coincide with the milder conditions before the next hot spell. That helped to make both the caching and the camping along the Murray River and in the Murray-Sunset National Park very pleasant.

We ended up finding all the caches that we had targeted. Most were in good order. Some of the puzzles were quite challenging and there were some very novel and entertaining multi's. Some certainly took a bit of finding and there were many very clever and/or tricky caches and containers that were a credit to the cache owners’ ingenuity.

It would have been good to have had another day or two to complete the remaining caches in the area, but I’m sure we’ll be back.

Thanks to all the cache owners for the hides.

Over from SA for 4 days of caching with Egregory1, Featherwaite and Brisal5.

We came primarily to do the Paddlesteamer series but picked up orthers as we drove around.

Apologies for the generis logs.

All caches we found were in good order.

Thanks to all cache owners whose caches we found.

***Generic Log unless something special above this line.***

I have seen a T shirt with Sleep Eat Cache Repeat [^] Well a four day trip to Mildura with caching friends Team Waldron, E.gregory and FeatherWaite certainly fit that bill. Razz Logs were signed with initials only for the teams - BEFW

Up at daybreak, quick breakfast and cache all day stopping only to have a snack whilst out on the trails, rush to set up camp near dusk for a meal, then perhaps some night caching, early night and REPEAT! Big Grin

Strategic camping at Kings Billabong, Rocket lake and The Common meant we were close by the Geoart and target night caches. Cool Two previous trips in 2013 and 2016 by me and some by E.gregory meant we visited some (well quite a few actually) previous finds but that made it quick for the people that hadn't found them previously. Wink

I can't thank the CO's of these caches enough as some were really very inventive. Even having solved most puzzles before we came we were confronted with field puzzles and gadgets that were just mind boggling. [:X][:X][:X]

***Thanks doheng for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

Found during a trip from Adelaide to the Mildura area for a few days of caching with Brisal5, e.gregory1 and Team Waldron with the main aim to complete the Paddle Steamer and Turtle GeoArt series but also to find other caches along the way. We camped out on the banks of the Murray River near Mildura on the first night, at Rocket Lake campground in the Murray-Sunset National Park on the second night, then back to the banks of the Murray River near Merbein on the last night. We signed the logs as B.E.F.W. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the cache!

Me big day out along the River Run continued Smile
The geomobile got me close to GZ and so over I wandered for a riverside sticky beak.
There was a pile of possible places to hide a small cache around here !! [:o]
I wasn't worried, I had all day to find it Smile

The initial look around proved pointless, so I stood back a bit to survey the scene.
"Hmmm !!", I said while rubbing me chin thoughtfully.
Nup ... no ideas !! Red Face

It was a few minutes later while idly staring off into the distance that something caught me eye.
I knew it was the cache, 'cos it just looked like it should be a cache Big Grin

So TFTC [^]

I'll give this one a fave point Razz

Parked the house boat close by & did the short walk to GZ - This 1 had me going – at least GZ area was quiet & no muggles in site so I took my time & had a good think about it – a nicely constructed cache again - TFTC / TFTH // SL

Doheng, you've outsmarted us again on this one. The bull-ant deterred us too from looking too close.

10-Sep-14
Found at 8:59 AM GAFF5. Another big drive to get here and then my heart sank when I saw the amount of timber lying around at GZ Sad
I knew what I was looking for as well as I had gleaned a hint from a log by doheng in a cache called TT1, but I steadfastly refused to check on the obvious structure as it looked too healthy to have one of those Wink. However that's where it was in the end - a nice piece of work btw, but oh so against the guidelines. Just hope a reviewer doesn't come by one day Razz
Thanks doheng.

mean hide! after reading the previous logs and having done quite a few of doheng's caches before, i knew to look for something different. and there it was, not even one minute did it take me to find it Very Happy really nice work, fav. point for that! TFTC!

Doheng, you've done it again.

A spectacular cache loved it - this one will get a few

A cold morning but another fine day in Mildura - perfect for our caching activities as we did not need rain today with the majority of our travelling being on dirt tracks. We happily meandered around the river edge with tracks going in several directions. Lovely old trees and bird life while the river looked plentiful. An enjoyable day of caching with many different style of hides to keep us challenged and entertained. Sneaky hide and deserving of a favourite point.
Thanks to doheng.

Went by boat with cruisenblues to do the five, because of an eletrical storm only got three. Lucky to be alive! Brillant hide. Best I have seen!

25-Mar-12
We stopped off. It certainly is easier to get to this cache in a boat than it is in a car. Very nice doheng!

14-Nov-11
This one had me going for a while. My initial checking produced nothing. Then I read that it was a micro, but 5 minutes later I still had nothing. Then a check of previous logs gave me a slight hint which, eventually, produced the goods. Nice job on the camouflage, and thanks for the cache.

Found with Xanthe_Sux at 3.45pm Nice Hide Very Nice Deserves a fav point I think

Went for a dirt bike ride with Doheng and got to try out his new bike.
Very nice.
So we did a couple of caching stops along the way and this one was in our travels.
Sneaky, very sneaky.
After the initial panic of OMG where is it in all this, it managed to stand out for me.
However it could be very nasty.

We managed to drive through and parked a bit distance away then walked towards the hide, took a while before Mr Bushies2 found the sneaky cache Twisted Thanks again.

J is loving this off-road driving. The TomTom doesn't know these "roads" are here so they took some finding. There are so many going every which way. We took a wrong track and nearly ended up in the drink. Finally we found the cache after a relatively short search. TFTC

This cache is back on line. The track a bit wet in places. Happy caching.

21-Jan-11
The river is too high to get to this cache. We will bring it back on line as soon as it is possible.

WOOOHOO. A surprisingly fast find, thought we were in for a long hunt- it may have been good luck or maybe we are getting better Wink......(I have to admit i am a bit chuffed at being the one to find this one, as normally the jnr team beat me to it.) But i walked straight to it. yay.
Again..... very clever doheng.
Thanx

We as a team are getting very clever, this was a nice fast find by Stewbie mum Big Grin

1372 Wasn't thinking too kindly when we neared the cache location and read that it was a micro. Damn. Read the notes, walked to GZ and grabbed the cache. Dang good doheng. Easy find - difficulty getting to area. TFTC doheng - I'll upload a photo of one of the local residents when I'm not on a mobile internet connection

Found by Roma and Max.
We were relieved to find the tracks in to GZ had dried out sufficiently today that our vehicle left no significant evidence of our visit!
It took our teams combined effort to find your cunningly concealed container.
Thank you Brian for this very worthy challenge.
Cheers.
Romax.
