Where is my very dear Travelbug "Le Gaulois des Gottes"? He disappeared from the list...at the time there were dozens of TB with him who took them? Does the owner of this cache have an idea?
It's sad!
It's sad!
Its really sad that groundspeak keeps archiving the best caches like this one, when we are also not allowed to adopt them or keeping them active as a community.
All it needed was a bit of common sense to realise that the community centre will open again. The cache will be found again.

I've had word from the CO that he is taking care of this. I hope the trackables are rescued and can start travelling again. Good luck.
I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

As this cache has been archived, I'll try and mount a rescue mission to save the trackables listed in the cache. If GZ is closed, then I'll keep checking in from time to time until I find it open.
Hi Philma,
This cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, only to discourage people from visiting this location until this cache may be addressed.
**Please note that caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis you will be given some extra time to react as we recognise that CO's can't just pop out and fix the issue,** geocache maintenance can wait. Once the acute threat of pandemic is over, I will remind you about your cache needing attention.
Should you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, AND your regional Health and Governmental authorities allow it, please feel free to do so. However, I would like to assure you I will not be archiving any caches which the cache owner does not currently feel safe to maintain.
I'll pass by in about another 45 days and hopefully this will all be over.

This cache has been deactivated and should be stopped if it is not a available.
Spoke to Greg at the community centre and advises due to Covid-19 (people handling the cache) no access will be granted until further notice.
Not really letting the cache out but I begged and pleaded and was able to log and drop off a mini jar of vegemite
I called Ultimo Community Centre to ask before going there again and to ask how they are operating through COVID. He said they are not open to the public and he was not sure, but they are not giving the cache out or it has been taken away, but that I could not get it...
CO please check or disable cache.

Tried today at 1000 today. Apparently the Community Centre is only open Monday to Thursday at the moment. And the library is open Wednesday and Thursday. There is construction in the building too.
Thanks for the Cache and a merry Christmas
So for this Merry Christmas day I will try and find 50 Caches in the Sydney area
Let's see how that turns out

These TBs Were Dropped into Safe City - Bug and Coin by Philma About 1 month ago.
Almost time to head home. We moved our flight up and missed our visit to the Sunshine Coast. I guess we will have to visit again. Not a super quick find but happy to figure it out.
An easy find. Not Many TBs left in here, a lot of empty plastic bags where TBs should be. Maybe a tidy up by the Co soon? Good idea and nice to travel into the suberbs. Thanks.
This took some time to find. I began asking strangers if they knew where the cache was and got some puzzled looks from the library staff.
I thought about the clues and looked for another place that matched the description. Soon, I came to the right place and sat down with the big box.
The logbook was full, so I signed the edge of the lid as others have done over the years.
Thanks for the find.

Lots of trackables and interesting things stayed for a while chatting to the lovely staff great geocache definitely worth a visit
Here on vacation doing some caching before we catch our cruise ship. Grab some tackables and left one. TFTF.
Found today with mrwhiskers76 on a caching spree in the city, i've never seen so many trackables! thanks for the cache!
This has to be one of the best caches I’ve found, plenty of cool stories and plenty of trackables! Thankyou!
Our first regular size cache. We've grabbed a trackable and will learn how to log it's next adventure. Thanks for the arm chair, it's been a big day caching on foot.
Second walk through Sydney and I wanted to send my two trackables "Schwarzwald-Marie" and "Schwarzwald-Michel" on their journey back to the Blackforrest / Germany. This place seemed to be the best. And it really is! New way to cache ... just ask for it ... and the TBs are on their journey.
Thanks for this unusual cache and greetings from Germany

We found it! Now we can drop some TravelBugs that have accompanied us for a while and find new ones for the return trip to Germany. This is a great idea for a safe and dry cache. Thank's for this Cache! FP.
Dropped off a bunch of trackables that was misplaced during a cleanup and got put into storage, glad I'm able to put these back into the wild. Sorry for hanging onto them for so long!
A last cache before I depart these shores, so a brief log for TB dropping that will be updated.
Thank you Philma for placing & maintaining this cache.

Took two trackables left two trackables amazing cache definitely a favourite point.
We spent couple weeks in Sydney and this day we decided to do some caching. This cached was chosen because of the favo points. On ous the way to GZ we had something in mind, which was proven right at GZ. Tftc!
Assumed the wrong location yesterday but put that to rights today.
Awesome cache in a great spot to drop into.
Couldn’t see any TBs in today to collect but dropped four off who wish to travel the world.
Thanks Philma

Opening hours are now 10:00am until 6:00pm. Just so you know! Still, I enjoyed the walk!
Found it yesterday during our vacation in Australia. We are staying in the hotel nearby so GZ was close for us. The lady at the counter was super friendly! TFTC

Great idea for a cache and TB drop off. Friendly staff, relaxed environment and no danger of muggle intervention.

Quite the interesting cache. Clearly a thoroughly enjoyed stopping point. One TB in, one TB out. TFTC!
14:42 - Find #2396 - Happy to be back in Australia once more. First leg of this visit was Adelaide and Barossa Valley, second leg was Sydney. Third and last full day in the city. The air quality was kind of ok, fire fighters were making a bit of progress I heard and wind was coming more from the east. Started nice'n'early and had beautiful sunny morning around the opera house and then through the botanical gardens before I went to the Sealife Aquarium - very impressive sharks! . After a lunch break I started my walk towards the beautiful area of Darling Harbor. Came by this cache and had to stop of course. The centre was pretty busy, but logging was- of course - not a problem at all . Everything's fine with the cache and the logbook. TFTC and cheers from Cologne, Germany
I had a feeling I’d done this one before and forgot to log it.
Checked the log books and indeed I’d been here on 9/12/15, 4 years and 5 days ago.
The lady at reception was quite friendly.
Came here to drop off a couple trackables is grabbed in WA.
Will take a couple back with me.

Thanks a lot for a reasonably sized and so nicely designed cache in Sydney! Swapped a couple of TBs. FP and TFTC!
A couple of days working in Sydney with some time for caching outside working hours.
I have wanted to get this one for a while and previous Sydney work trips have nearly provided the opportunity, but the timing was never quite right. Today I made the timing work for me. My first attempt drew a bit of a blank reaction, with the otherwise very helpful person not having a clue what I was talking about. I tried a different level and had a very different response - immediate recognition and retrieval of the big cache from plain view on a shelf.
This was actually a very cool cache to get, even if it felt weird having to take an approach completely opposite to our usual stealth and secrecy. TFTC

Having noted the number of favourite points for this cache we simply had to come and search for it, and so now in Sydney here we were at Ground Zero. We didn’t have to ask for the cache as we recognised it as soon as we entered the library as it was sitting on the lap of clone5com. We signed the log book and discovered the TNMT - Leo with Koala Travel Bug, the MTGRIX: Dinosaur and the little Kangaroo Travel Bug, the Palm Tree Party Starter Travel Bug and the Lure of Travel V Travel Bug. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
I was looking for a safe place to leave my trackables here in Australia, so that they can start their way to Germany. So this cache seemed to be the perfect place for this. Came here in morning, said goodby to my TBs and signed the log.
Thanks for the cache.
Greetings from Germany.

I had a nice chat with the "guardian" of the cache. He has actually been to Canada before. The cache was not really difficult to "find" TFTC
If you have bad anxiety might be a good idea to skip this one! But if you don't then it's really fun!
I was a bit hesitant retrieving this cache, but everything went fine. What a pleasant surprise.
That was our third consecutive November trip to Australia. We could "tick off" the last two missing states and territories and see both Sydney and Melbourne again, and the red heart of Australia and the capital Canberra. This was a great week and I would have loved to take the unexpected and sometimes very exhausting heat with me to cold Germany. This cache contributed to this great experience. Many thanks for that! FP in!
Awesome sized cache! Have taken a couple of TB’s to rehide in Tassie and Northern NSW/QLD. Have replaced them with some swaps/swag today. TFTC!

Thanks for bringing us to this interesting location. Staff were friendly and we were most impressed with the size of the cache.
We must have the geocacher look (what ever that is). The attendant asked if we are here for the geocache before we said a word. We have three Travel Bugs from Hawaii which we will drop off. We will take three Travel Bugs from the inventory here. Thanks for maintaining this cache. It is great.
Earns a fav from us.

Visiting Sydney Australia and looking for some caches. Found this one so I could drop off a TB and pick up another to send on their way. Took awhile to find this one because nobody new what I was talking about. Muggles!
Spending the weekend in Sydney at a conference, doing some caches and dropping TB's. This was an excellent TB hotel. Very safe. We dropped 9 and took 2 and had a chat to the lovely lady on the desk.
Thanks Philma. Have another FAV.

Came by to retrieve Anna the Eevee. Thank you very much to all who helped her on her journey - especially The Vikings, who saw her home safely
We love this cache and always make sure we visit whenever we’re in Sydney. Grabbed 3 TBs for further travel around this great big land we call home.

On my roadtrip on the Australian East coast picked up a TB that I didn't want to take with me to Europe right away. So was looking for an appropriate cache to hide it in. After scrolling through numerous micro-caches in Syndey centre stumbled on this one. What a relief!
A very welcoming and convenient hide. Thank you very much!
