Looked heaps but gps kept going different ways ands or on the fence line of flaxmere collage , is it still there ?
Mum, 3YO and 7YO decided to look for this one after dropping 10YO at near-by Canoe Polo this afternoon.
7YO took the lead, and uncovered the cache very quickly - a really cute container!
Mum thought they had done such a good job, she shouted cold drinks on the way back to Canoe Polo.

Found pretty quickly, lid doesn't secure very well due to size of log, may leak if it rains? Cute container though! TFTC

Came over to Flaxmere to find this "historical' cache as i had never been into the township. But i was disappointed that i too sadly could not find the cache..... I am sure it has got lost.. but i will keep a log on it to see what happens.
Day Four of the KiwiFruitsNZ/Vamber Xmas road trip saw us head again to collect some caches to meet the requirements for our GIO Licences, and enjoy a great lunch at Black Barn Winery.
Searched high and low for this one but came away with nothing! Possibly missing? If not, our third DNF for the day!!!!

Day four of our geo-cacation with KiwifruitsNZ saw us tackling caches around the Hawke's Bay, and also an enjoyable New Year's Eve lunch at the Black Barn Bistro!
We searched all over, but couldn't find the cache. Hoepfully it's not gone missing?

First attempt after being away for so long sadly didn't find. Kids and I will be back again soon!
I didn't even get the chance to say hello seeing as you were out of the country. TFTC
After admiring some massive gum tree stumps we headed off to locate this cache. This cache was quickly found, a sneaky hide though - well done.

Quick find between showers, while in this area after the dahlia show. Thanks for the cache.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Most Christmas holidays involve a road trip of some description and this year is no exception. Today we were travelling from Gisborne to Napier, picking up a few caches along the way. We were actually looking for large numbers today, so picked this up after the wine trail. Quick find once at site. TFTC

Found on the way home from the mildly-moist but extremely-enjoyable Clive CITO event.
We had a quick look in some 'typical' hiding locations but came up with nothing.
I just so happened to look in the right direction and saw it.

Damn. Cache overload. My notes say I found this with Etherlord and the Etherfamily on a fill-in-the-blanks trip back from the Clive CITO, but I just cannot remember what this cache looks like. I... Yes I can! I know what this one was! Woot! This one was a nice little surprise.
After being unsuccessful at a nearby cache, I had to try for this one to fill in a blank space on my caching calendar. Glad to say it was found fairly quickly! Thanks for the cache, great stand of old gum trees.
checked today cache is missing not sure if i can find a new hide e hole will update as soon as possible sorry for any problems caused
Looked for some time but nothing found. Gave up in the end. Watch for broken glass.
Found on our caching trip through Wairarapa and Hawkes Bay. Many Thanks to the CO's for taking us to so many interesting places which we would never had visited without searching for your cache. TFTC Drawp
Found on an early morning cache run. This was Mrs F's old school as well, she also has great memories of this place.
TFTC!

Found at 6:35:00 PM. Driving around seeing the sights of Napier before heading South for the Mega in Dunedin. Took a few minutes to find this nasty nano but with good coordinates and an extra good look we spotted it. It will be a shame to see these trees cut down as there are some magnificent specimens among the ones remaining.
Thanks MorganEd

Returned with my son, I found this last time and replaced it, never thought to un-screw it... Was a new-be back then lol TFTC
We visited with SpeedyGT small wine powetrail and we stopped for this one too. TFTC and greetings from Czech republic!

After searching the likely places for a nano hide we spotted the cache lying on the ground. Initialed the log and returned it to where we thought it should belong. TFTC.

Beware that someone has dumped a huge pile of dog turds not far from GZ [:(!]. So make sure you are watching where you tread rather than the GPSr.
Was the barbed wire on the fence to keep the kids in school or to keep others out?

#2659. Luckily I spotted Mt Dog Turd before stepping in it. Quick find. TFTC.
A great day in the Bay with WilkieWalkers who had done this cache. Took us a while but finally found it. Sad the trees have to go in the name of progress.
Didn't physically log, sorry MorganEd! (been there, done that already). Great spot! TFTC again!
Wow had never seen these trees before and didn't know they existed. Have travelled through Flaxmere many times but never down this road. Nice hide TFTC
Had to come back to this after looking for a time, went and did the skater boy cache and found out what the nano might be, went back and looked again and found it.
Rather worrying near those huge trees in the gale force wind which was bringing large pieces down.

2869 Shame to read about the disappearing trees all in the name of so called progress. Glad to get the chance to see them and say goodbye! TFTC
No memories from this area, we’re just visiting, but this cache brings back memories of our geocaching adventures in Australia. Having to watch for snakes! Being eaten alive by mozzies! Glad to be geocaching in kiwiland. Seriously we love gum trees. Sad to see them go. They remind us of our happy holidays caching in the great Aussie bush! Nice hide. Thanks MorganEd for the cache.
Spotted at GZ. Easy when you've seen a few of these. Nice and quiet here today. TFTC
Looked all around but the gps gods were not with us and we came up blank.
