Found with Geostrom.Lovely walk. We also found a chatty shingle back on the path. Tftc.
Als wir die Nacht auf dem Parkplatz geschlafen hatten, haben wir bei einem unseren morgendlichen Spaziergang diesen Cache gefunden.
Up in Cambera for a few days over Christmas, stopped for the night at the rest area. Quick easy find tftc
#4428 My last find in the reserve before heading over to Kowen and unleashing the eMTB. No problems with the cache here located in the likely spot. Thanks for showing me this trail.
I was in the area checking the track for our walking group to do on Sunday (30/08) and decided to grab the caches while I didn't have the group with me. As I was timing the walk, I had to go back once I had completed the loop.
A great spot, and it's good to see caches of this size - far too many micros around! TFTC, Tankengine

Stopped in here on the way home from a little trip to Bungendore with an Argentinian pal of mine.
I didn’t realise there was a bush track leading from the rest stop! Made it the short hike to ground zero and had a bit of a look at the surrounding area after signing the log…certainly a fascinating spot. Thanks Tankengine!

Decided to head out early on my trip to the ACT to visit my kids and grandkids and take to long and easy way by picking up some caches along the way and use the time to clear my head and get some more fresh air. I was able to take my time and do this as normally my muggle missus would be with me, but she’s visiting one of our other kids and grandkids in another state!
After leaving Tarago and picking up one other Random hide from the PT series through here, I needed to stop somewhere to actually prepare and eat my impromptu lunch. So as I was driving along, I spotted a rest area, so I peeled off and prepared my meal. While it was warming up, I opened up the App, and low and behold, there’s a hide nearby! On further looking, there’s actually a walking track that does a circuit! Ok, a nice walked while my lunch is simmering. I headed out after reading the nearby sign, soon came into the GZ where it was then necessary to go off trail. The GPS wasn’t too happy, and I had to circle around a bit until I finally located the hide!
Signed and replaced as found.

Drove down to this one to be a little closer, after completing the others in this reserve.
Helped with the cache maintenance and to place a couple of new ones too. It was nice to get into this area as I have driven by so many times and didn’t even know you could walk so far in here. Tftc!!!

Beautiful walk to GZ. All in order and great to see an original log going back so long!
Quick stop for toilet and cache on way to Braidwood. All in good order with cache . Tftc
Tftc tank engine, nice morning for a stroll in to collect this one, nice load of goodies for the kids here.
All good here - a nice quick walk along the track from the Rest Area and all good with the cache too. TFTC
Quick find after stopping for a rest on my way to Kowen Forrest. Thought I’d check for caches and my instinct was correct!
Found on the way back home after looking for caches near Captains Flat. Possibly the largest TE cache container I have seen! Thanks, Tankengine.
I’ve been close to this one many many times. Today I took the time to stop and take the short walk for the fast find. TFTH
On my way back from a 2nd day in Bungendore I thought I'd stop at this little cluster of caches.
What a pleasant surprise.
I has also stopped raining for a moment.

Great find! Nice and easy for the kids. Left some good treasures for the next finder.
Awesome little walk with an interesting mine shaft from back in the day. Great for families
Stayed overnight here before caching after seeing the oils. Bloody hell its cold. Quick find. Tftc.
This cache was found quickly and is in good condition. The sun is setting and there's snow in the air, in fact it snowed at perisher this weekend. Needless to say the walk uphill was appreciated, warmed Genghicat and I up a bit. I don't think I've ever been so thankful to get back to a car. Tftc
A delightful bushland stroll was discovered here
Away from the maddening traffic

A very easy day walking in the beautiful Autumn sunshine as we are recovering from a few minor sporting injuries. Walked approx 12 km over 4 hours enjoying the picturesque bushland. Loved the walk along the ACT/NSW boundary in particular finding the reference tree engraved with 'CT' for Commonwealth Terrirory. We have been wanting to find this tree for some 8 years and today was the day. The tree is well over 100 years old so we sat down for lunch nearby and admired the much much larger trees around us second guessing their ages.
We also saw a train go by (much to our surprise) and then saw a beautiful ancient train tunnel near a 'modern' aqueduct, an old bee hive and lots of bees wax, wrestled a snake in the higher country with great views over Bungendore. Then dodged flying mountain bikers along some of the trails and saw an old sheep dunking structure - yep - another great day in Canberra's wild west.
This cache was the last find of this group of caches after walking along an old road that somehow looked like the old Kings Hwy with old road fenders rusting away and the road slowly disintegrating. We found some letters carved into the cement structure at the end road and are curious as to there origins - C.S.C.C. .?AKEVIEW H?? - interesting. TFTC Tankengine

Bungendore bound after attending Clear Day event at Queanbeyan. After finally meeting the legend who is TE, how fitting that the first cache I find is one of his! Obviously an early one...an easy find
In the area for a ftf. Wow spotted my first very big redbelly black snake for the season. It was about 2meters long. Thanks for the cache.
Was out caching with mattyu94 and after grabbing a FTF and a couple of extra caches nearby in Kowen Forest we decided to come out a bit further to Brooks Hill and find the caches around here!
We started off by parking at the nearby rest area and it was a very short and quick walk to this cache! Ahhh absolutely love these old-school Tankengine containers with the custom paint on the lid! You should bring them back for places like this
Interesting piece of camo that was concealing the container, we soon found out where it probably came from when we walked a bit further along!
Thanks Tankengine!

#2400 On my way home from lunch, I usually drive right past here. Today I stopped and walked the final 100 metres to GZ. Cache was in great shape. Thanks again Tankengine.
The Omnia new year's party took place near Bungendore so I set off early and sought out five geocaches on the way. This one was a straightforward find, being in an obvious hiding spot, right on the coordinates. Thank you Tankengine for installing and maintaining this cache.
Quick find on a cold afternoon. After a bit of bushbashing we found the cache safe & in good condition. Kutgw

TFTC Tankehgine,
Meeting you at the Goulburn Invasion and talking about hide quality was great. This one is a good hide.
Left home yesterday on a long trip, about 8,000 km's to the Red Centre Experience GC6825Z and back.
The trip their is broken into 3 stages, home to Philip Island for the National Riley Rally, Philip Island to the Grampions to do some bushwalking, Grampians to Alice Springs for what we hope is a Mega Geocaching Event.
We are staying for 2 nights in the general area and today was all about locating and experiencing some local caches.
Visited a group of trackables that will part way with me in Alice Springs.

Lunch in Bungendore, and a little time before the afternoon meeting, so I stopped at the spot and decided to grab these caches.
Scanning the geocaching map for someone interesting for an outing, I spotted a back road running beside Lake George with some caches along it. I've long found the area around Lake George fascinating, but had never been along here, so the way forward was suddenly clear! Heading back towards home with some time up my sleeve a little stopover at Brooks Hill made a lot of sense - and made for a lovely little loop walk.
A nice easy find and terrific to find a good sized and well placed container. TFTC

After seeking some caches in Bungendore, I decided to stop in and pick up a few caches here on the way back to Canberra. An easy find - and a huge container! TFTC, Tankengine
Lovely day for a walk in this reserve. I found the cache dry and hidden. I left a travel bug with big miles to cover.
