Found it but it had no log book and it was full of water some someone should probably fix it but nice spot
There were 2 other people here looking for this container as we arrived. Searched for some time but had to say a DNF for us in the end.
Came out with JSB001, and couldn't find it with 4 sets of eyes looking. While we did find a sleepy possum, we had no luck in terms of the cache.
Always a lovely spot and very peaceful on this cool, moist Saturday. Easily found on a relaxing stroll around Belco. TFTC:-)
A muggle friend wanted to experience geocaching and Skip needed a walk, so we came out to Lake G for a walk. After a bit of explanation, I handed the phone over to my friend for her to try and find this cache. I spotted it first, but she was most impressed that things like this are hidden around the place. SL and then off walking again as we both had lunch engagements we needed to get to. TFTC 3-kings
A nice spot & a quick find before heading to work at the nearby Uni. TFTC

With the dinner chores completed and an hour to fill in before a meeting, I grabbed a few caches on the way. A quick find here. TFTC.

Found whilst driving around Belconnen locating caches. Had to wait around for the muggles to leave before signing. TFTC.
Some pesky muggles were in the way of this one, but after some careful negotiation we got the cache in hand! TFTC.
After our trip to Mt Kosciuszko Pprime suggested that we stop off to find this cache on the way home.
A short walk from the car and I managed to put my hand on the cache while Fangsoki was searching elsewhere.

Mr Pprime made it a mission to have Crew 153 and I visit this cache.
We parked up and made our way up over the bridge and into the nice little area - which thankfully was devoid of muggles. It took us a while to locate the beast - Pprime's memory isn't what it used to be Mr Crew 153 finally found the beast.
We signed the log and re-hid it as found. A lovely place.. inhabited by some very expectant ducks looking for food apparently TFTC Newberys

Nice to finally get this one off the DNF list. Good way to cap off a Sunday night. TFTC.
5:40pm 6/3 - we really have to stop putting caches in such lovely places - non-cachers are monopolising our cache spots.
We had the kids in Clean Up Australia mode when we arrived, there were a couple at GZ so we hovered about politely waiting them to leave. They didn't. We moved on, the tadpoles ran around various playgrounds, and an hour later we came back - and they were still there. So we waited until they either got the message or decided they were hungry (it was past our boys' dinner so maybe it was past theirs?).
Typical of what we know of the Newburys, had a laugh at the implement used to keep the container in place - we have destroyed several devices to retrieve these. Very strong!! TFTC

I'd gone out for dinner with a beautiful young lady and after dinner we went for a stroll around the lake. I suggested a slight detour to go for this cache, since she'd been asking to see what geocaching was about previously, and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache.

Have been to the park a few times but never explored this little island. Thanks for the cache...kids happily exploring the keep now.
TFTC. Second go at this cache today. I came past earlier to find picnickers at the spot, so had to leave. Second time, no-one around and found after a quick search. Hopefully it should be here for a long time.
My lovely geowife and youngest geoson put in a new container for me today. Good to go
Catching up on logging finds. Wasn't registered at the of time cache find, but my Dad who I was with was. TFTC
Assuming the barcode was the temp cache. Will check again for a more permanent cache
I was visiting a work colleague at the University of Canberra, so took the chance to do some caching while here.
RoryTP and I went searching for this cache, but found nothing. We looked in all the likely place, used the hint but... nothing. Our only unsuccessful hunt on our short visit to Canberra.
TFTH Newberys. A lovely spot.

TFTC, no swappables inside left some stickers. Found by the littlest geokid. Lovely spot at dusk watching the ducks. Peaceful
I never needed an excuse to come here, but caching always makes it more fun. Good hide found by my geodaughter.
On holidays, so don't have my usual caching essentials! Aka, forgot a pen! Such a great park though. Enjoying a much needed stroll. Definitely on my list as a place to visit again. TFTC!
We have been meaning to grab this one since it was replaced. We came by on a daily raid a few weeks ago but suspicious muggles kept us from our goal. Nobody about tonight and we made a quick find. Thanks Newberys
Belconnen brings back mixed memories for me. I spent quite a few of my teenage and 20ish years in the Belconnen area and remember the 1970s "concrete brutalist" architecture of the town centre with a large degree of dismay. I'm thinking primarily of the old ACTION bus interchange and the Westfield mall. The ACTION bus interchange actually featured in the 2004 movie "Sommersault".
Lots more residential units have been built in Belconnen town centre in recent years to try and "urban infill", plus a new artsy centre, but to me Belconnen town centre, whilst improved, remains a bit of an urban wasteland in my opinion. It's dominated by roads and busways and lacks virtually any pedestrian appeal. However the track that goes around the lake is actually quite nice - perhaps one of the good redeeming features of Belconnen. TFTC.

This cache has been found by Flynn and his dad. Had several previous attempts and were always interrupted by muggles. Glad to finally get this off the list.
Found it a bit exposed, put it back so that it's not in plain view. Didn't have a pen so you'll just have trust me in this one.
Thanks for the nice easy cache. A great one for the kids to practise their stealthiness! Beautiful spot too.
Thankyou for the cache, a very quick find even though we were very close to muggles
Found on a brisk but sunny morning walk around the lake. I usually walk straight past here so it was great to finally explore the area. There was no one else about so could enjoy the views in peace. TFTC
