Found quickly after i’d parked on the sweeping bend. Should be the last of them today. Thanks for the hide and for the cacher who replaced it
This is certainly the middle of nowhere, but on a lovely drive with great views. The cache was found with no problems.
On a road trip from Mackay to Charters Towers then on to Townsville and return to Mackay.
Sorry to all the CO's for the cut and paste logs.

Bit of a Y Junction here. Still very warm despite the rain that has come through.
Cleaning up a couple of more caches before leaving town, particularly multi's as they are with more tokens in the Geocaching Pirate hunt this week we then headed towards Ayr caching our way along.
We were heading from Revenswood to Townsville and we were very happy to come across this one where we could actually stop with the camper on as we had driven passed a couple on the way here due to lack of parking. To make it even better the cache was a nice easy find and our name has been added to the log and we our now making away to Townsville.
Thanks again for the cache HDSpringer

On our Easter hunt in the area, ended up here, a stones throw from nowhere.
Not really sure about this cache. The Rock was 29 metres out and the cache in very poor condition. We Replaced contents of cache included a magnet and attached to the obvious at GZ.
If CO wants to move it back, that is where it is. Thanks HDspringer for bringing us here

We were on our way to Clare, having set off on a day's sightseeing from Townsville, when we realised we were about to drive right past this cache. Container was out in the open about 3m from the stone, so we replaced it as close as we could to the stone but did not find any obvious hidey-hole.
TFTC!

TFTF good spot. Watch out for meat ants don't stir them up like the geo kids did.
After giving the GPS to the wife!!!
We ended up 5kms past the mark [:(!]
After my comment about woman and maps [B)]
and a few laughs later (and 5kms)
It was where I said it should be as we drove past the first time
TFTC it was an awesome drive

A pleasant trip on Canada Day to find a cache. Thanks for the opportunity to visit it!
9:47:00 AM. On our way to Ravenswood and the dam for the day. A good way to stretch the legs. Cache all good. Thanks HDSpringer.
On a caching road trip with MattCNS. We departed Townsville and headed out on the Flinders Highway out to Mingela. From here we turned south and drove down to the historic township of Ravenswood. Then it was down to Ayr and back to Townsville via the Bruce Highway.
Interesting stone in the middle of nowhere! TFTC HDSpringer. SL. {#427}.

Glad this one was here as we needed the break to stretch our legs and revive.
A surprisingly tricky find considering GZ but geoP made the find anyway.

When I saw the stone, I doubted that I could have thrown it anywhere !! [:o]
So how did it come to be nowhere ?!!
It is a nice stone though.
And left me in little doubt as to where the cache was hidden
Thanks for the quick driveby on my way from Ravenswood to Ayr this morning

Wow what a random place or a big rock. After a lovely drive from Aye we welcomed the short stop to stretch our legs.
Cache is all well in its hides hole.
Thanks for placing a cache here.

Not quite the middle of nowhere but you can see it from there! Added an extra log sheet and plastic bag as the log had been mushed. TFTC.
# 281 Monkeys and cows
Took the monkeys for a tour down to Ayr and Home Hill, and then west to Ravenswood.
The C+2M Cache Racer was lowered for hot laps of Wakefield Park, not endless kilometers of dirt roads. Every pothole was one closer to he shock absorber shooting out through the bonnet. Coming around the corner at 100 and seeing a THOUSAND cows all over the road was an experience. Monkeys laughed so hard when one cow tried to poke his head in the window to see what we were doing.
Anyway, we got there in the end.

Just love this cache it made us go out on a gr8 drive ,the views are fabulous its well worth the trip out there TFTC x
After a drive to Ravenswood for lunch decided to come home the long way. Found this on the way. What a great drive. TFTC
Found this on our way to Ravenswood for the day. The road has only just been re-opened after so much rain, so we drove through plenty of wet crossings on the way. The log was saturated, so we took it with us to dry it out and replaced it on the way back to Ayr Thanks HDSpringer
1st find for the day out with The X-Trailers tongs came in handy. You would have trouble throwing that stone.
Thanks for a lovely drive we wouldn't have done if not for the cache

Mr burdair made a grand entrance when we arrived so it was nearly impossible to see the stone because of all the dust he stirred up luckily no one was coming. Our first cache for the day was quickly in hand. I don't think I would want to try and throw this stone anywhere.TNLN(apart from skid marks)SL Thanks for the cache.
I don't think this is a stones throw from nowhere - I think it is nowhere!
Thanks for putting this out here!

We totally loved this drive from Clare to Ravenswood. We were all happy on this drive. Especially hubby who is sooo happy with the 4wd. Would not have taken the good car here (you can though as it is a good track but having almost 50 km of this road might be too much for new and 2wd cars)

Yeay! A FTF for me! Thank you Mrs Springer and Reluctant companion.
Looking at the size of the rock, Nowhere must be pretty close; doubt someone would throw it very far
