Given the number of DNF's and no action on the Maintenance log this one needs to go. The CO has not been active since January 2011.
Decided to have a drive from Moonta Bay this afternoon to pick up a few stray caches around Kadina that I needed to find. [^]
I too had a good look around taking note of the hint. Not sure if the person logging the find on 14 July actually found it then. [?]
Thanks j.lea.

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out! We're a tipp'n it's a miss'n.
Thanks anyway to j.lea for bringing us to this location.

Given this one was last found **14/5/15** and has four consecutive DNF's perhaps it's about time for a CO's check.!
Well you win some and you lose some so they say. At this cache today it was an epic fail. Not sure what, if anything, we did wrong as on reading the logs it appears to be a easy hide. With 160+ smiles and only three blue faces before us.
We are not saying it is not there just that we could not find it. As the cache owners have not been on site since 2011 if it is gone we wonder if another local will pick up the hiding place.

Went there once and could not find it, came back a second time and found it immediately. Great find!
Another great find while on holiday in the area.
Thanks for the fun!

I arrived at the helipad and could see the clue's reference straight away
Imagine my disappointment at not finding the cache there [:o]
OK !! So there must be another spot that hides a cache that fits the clue ?
Hmmmm !!
Oh yeah !!
So obvious now
And with that I had the cache in paw in under 30 seconds
TFTC !!

From a distance geo-hubby started shouting already "I can see the cache" but to his disappointment it was not the case. We located the real container pretty quick though. TFTC j.lea.
No eggs here! It looks as though the silica beads in the lid have spilled out though
Signed as best we could, does require a new log though

Day four with Alansee and Micaparamedic we were now based in Wallaroo for another three days of caching fun
Fortunately the chopper squad were away and no one was using his area today leaving us free to search. We hunted around the most logical areas for awhile and then expanded our search. We were about to declare it a DNF when Diane spotted the container laying on the ground out in the open, not sure how we missed that. After adding our initials we rehid it in an obvious location we assumed that it came from.
To save room in the logs we signed as M.A.C.( Micaparamedic Alansee and Team Crackers).
Thanks for the cache
On a caching assault of the Yorke Peninsular with alansee and Team Crackers over the last six days. We have found many caches which have proven enjoyable and sometimes challenging Alansee had worked diligently in planning routes we would take to minimize wasted kilometres driven to find the numbers we have been able to do. Most logs have been signed as MAC (micaparamedic, alansee and crackers)
Many thanks j.lea for placing this cache .

Found with Team Crackers and Micaparamedic. We took a while on this one as, while it is an easy find, the cryptic hint has another meaning.
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.
If you do not agree with this you are more than welcome to delete the log.

Left the caravan parked at Bute, and went caching around Kadina & Wallaroo.
With a good variety of hides, we were kept busy all day.
Most were found quickly, with the odd one being a little tricky.
Thanks for the cache, j.lea.

This was our 21st cache find in a caching run of 29 Finds & 1 DNFs today.
We found it at 12:46 so this now makes our total find count 8459.

We are visiting friends in Kadina for a few days before heading off to Murray Bridge to attend the "Oz Mega 2014 Murray Bridge" over Easter.
Today we started off by doing some of the outlying caches around Kadina. Some of the dirt roads were a bit challenging after the recent rains.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks j.lea for the hunt today.

This one took us a bit longer than it should've because we misinterpreted the hint. Once we figured out that it could have more than one meaning, we went to the correct spot straight away. TFTC
out with locus and 3ld while at the yp event.
dnf for this one, we spent to much time here looking with no luck

The hint helped with this. One of a dozen or so finds we made when we hit Kadina today.
Miss GG and I decided to dart away from overcast Adelaide and go enjoy some York Peninsula sunshine.. and it didn't let us down. 16 and sunny most of the day.
With a quick stop off in Moonta for a little look see and lunch... Cornish pasty of course and a nice cold ginger beer. We were able to get our daily goal of caches to make the trip worth while..
Thanks for the cache j.lea :D
Until next time, I'll be back in Bow River Again.

South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
Today we were off to the Yorke Peninsula, the original destination for this trip. We spent the whole day driving only as far as Kadina, but we went via Clare and plenty of rail trail caches. Everyone has done a great job of placing a great variety of caches and we had a great day.
Thanks.

Grabbed with Albida on our 2 week caching run from Canberra to, and around, different parts of South Australia including Loxton, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Yorke Peninsula and around to Whyalla before heading home via Broken Hill, Cobar and Parkes. We completed a few power trails and left a couple to do when in the area again for next years Mega event.
Overall a great many different styles and types of caches found. A great time was had caching for 16 days straight as well as camping along the way.
Thanks for adding to the fun with this cache.

A fantastic day.

** VERY LATE LOG ** You know how when you clean out your garage or you shift houses you find things you don't realise you were ever missing? It happens to me, except in this case it was a bunch of geocache_visits files on an old hard drive I was cleaning out things I no longer need. I do remember these caching trips and in this case I was caching with Moneydork and Skippy. It was a long day of caching and an attempt to clear out an area where Moneydork and I had never cached. TFTC
I was sitting watching Duck Dynasty at 11.30pm when I realized that I hadn't found a geocache today, so I jumped up and raced off to find one. The first one I went to was too hard to do in the dark, so I went to this one and found it at 3 minutes to midnight. This makes 37 consecutive days of geocaching. Log is full and in a bit of disrepair. TFTC
We found this cache as part of our family YP camping trip. Over the 12 days we saw some fantastic scenes and did a heap of cool stuff. This really is a beautiful slice of our country. To top off an already wonderful trip, we also found 145 caches, 6 trackables, 1 pathtag and attended 1 event.
Thanks for the cache!!
Thanks for the cache!!
After the YP cachers' get together #4, earthlight, The X-Trailers and myself, minus the male cachers that had accompanied us so far, headed out to do the locus cache on some more caches!
It seemed that this cache had been unloved for some time as it had its own new version of camo!
Still a quick find though after one of our group turned 180 degrees
