Found the first cache at the coordinates, but unfortunately the paper is water damaged and unable to be read.
The puzzles were solved during our holidays, thanks for the show this square. Greetings from Switzerland
While spending a week in nearby Charters Towers we decided to have a drive to the Burdekin Dam and cache on the way.
We had two or three tries at this one as the paper at WP1 with the co-ords on it had been torn and damaged...right through the last three numbers of the South co-ords. We made some guesses and got to find a couple of little tracks around town but nothing that took us anywhere near a possible hiding place. Finally our third combination of numbers took us 'fairly' close to where we thought the cache must be hidden.
Geohubby spotted the little hide, we signed the log and then returned to WP1 and added another piece of paper. On this we included today's date and the co-ords where we found GZ
This lovely town certainly has some fine buildings and great history. Many thanks for showing us around HDSpringer[^]

Mtn Pygmy Possum, RobS72 and I were out and about, kicking up a caching storm with finding all the caches we set out to find...Ravenswood has so much history, just love it!!! TFYC
Second stop on a Ravenswood tour de force with ^dventurers and RobS72 for the first stage of this multi. Tarn's eagle eyes' spotted the first stage cache container in no time, and so we scored the co-ordinates for the final. After detouring to a few more caches and a lesson for me on inputting waypoints into the old iphone from RobS72, we found our way to the second cache container, which didn't take too long to find either. Thanks for the fun, history and multi-cache Corikra!
Second day out to Ravenswood this week!
The information at stage one was wet, I took a guess but did not succeed.
Sent a cry for help to CO, who responded just in time for me to return, first to final location, where I found the small hide. Then back to stage one to fill in what the wet had destroyed.
Hopefully the cache will last!
Drove around in the town and between old mines, lots of pictures.
Thanks for the hide

11:24:00 AM. A nice little multi that didn't take alot of time. Enjoyed our look at the town. Thanks HDSpringer.
We had the first clue quickly on arrival at the first stage. The second stage took a little longer but RobS72 spotted it fairly quickly. I like the common theme between the two. TFTC.
On a caching road trip with MattCNS. We departed Townsville and headed out on the Flinders Highway out to Mingela. From here we turned south and drove down to the historic township of Ravenswood. Then it was down to Ayr and back to Townsville via the Bruce Highway.
Arrived at the initial GZ and Matt had the cache in hand quickly. With new coordinates in hand, we quickly headed over to the final GZ where a slightly longer search soon had the prize revealed.

Late in the afternoon as we attempted this one. Easy multi that took us to historic parts of Ravenswood. Next time we need to come down earlier in the day to truly explore the area.

Oh Queensland loves its olde wooden churches
And this particular example is one of the finest and largest I've seen.
Good to see it kept in immaculate condition too
Now something was ringing in me ears here.
Oh yes !! I had to find a clue
Well guess where it was hidden [:o)]
And off I headed, back the way I had come to find me a cache.
Well from 50 metres away I could already see GZ
A short poke around and cache was in paw
Thanks for an easy multi in this amazingly histeric town

Heading from Charters Towers to Bowen we decided to take the scenic route via Ravenswood and Clare. These two bells would have to represent both ends of the spectrum.
Thanks HDSpringer
Thanks HDSpringer
This was our second attempt as last time with no phone service the GPS said the second lot of coordinates were 37 kms away. Same trouble again except a fleeting moment of service enabled us to use the phone and GZ was found easily.
Doing a road trip with Corikra to Ravenswood and Burdekin Dam. Neither of us have done this cache so the hunt was on. Arrived to the first GZ and cache was quickly in hand. We too had problems if the final coord showed a 0 or 6. Did both cords and the 6 was correct.
Arrived to the 2nd GZ and had a bit of a chuckle as to where it was
Thanks for this multi HDSoringer it was a fun hunt.

As Cat & Bear already posted, we did a day trip to the area to find some caches. This cache I was unable to do on a previous visit, as there had been a wedding on at the church.
Glad to have a smiley face on this spot now
Look out for a new Mini-Multi in Ravenswood hopefully coming soon

Possibly the quickest multi cache ever for us!!!
With no phone reception, we arrived at the final GZ on a hunch it was the start. Had a look around and geo dad said "this must be the cache?"
Saw lots of familiar names, what a pretty little spot!

Had lunch near here and wondered if we'd be back.... not surprisingly we were after visiting the first well preserved church and other caches on the back road to Ayr. TNLN, TFTC.
# 285 Monkeys being judged.
Took the monkeys for a tour down to Ayr and Home Hill, and then west to Ravenswood.
We found the first bell and the cache was in hand very quickly. We then sat and looked at the sodden paper for a very long time and argued about it being a 6 or a 0.
Decided to write both options down and headed ff to the first choice.... Ok. I was wrong.
Second bell had the cache in hand .

The cache at 1st set of co-ords was out in the open returned it to it's hide and then pondered how to navigate to gz as we cache by phone and no way to add co-ords....reread description and knew where we were headed..a nice quick cache...tfth
A fun little multi that showed me a couple of local features. Grabbed the GZ co-ords and was soon at GZ with the cache in hand. Another one for the day.
Thanks HDSpringer

Found more lizards and had to play with them Got to GZ and found no cache, and then Moneydork with a very sharp eye spotted it on the ground from the other side of the fence! Replaced it in what I though was a fairly obvious and safe spot. Cheers Gav [9080]
Found the second waypoint on the ground, so replaced it in the obvious location. TFTC.
Nice easy finds on both occasions for this one with my mum'n'dad (Diamond Reo). This town has some amazing history and you could spend days wandering around looking at everything. Such a shame the museum was closed today as mum said it was the best place to visit in town. Thanks HDSpringer
Our first find while staying in the area with zoom rockey
First co ordinates straight across road from where we were camping
Just a leisurely stroll thru the town to find this little multi
Hard to believe there used to be 48 pubs in this town now only 2 ,geo hubby's think a counter meal and a beer are in order .

Our second cache for the day. There is just so much history to look at when you are in Ravenswood thanks for showing us these two great locations with this wonderful little multi. TNLNSL Thanks for the cache.
This was a great little multi with some nice history. This is how all multi's should be!
Found after a trip out to the dam. Thought it might be better to try this one just in case the place was busy on a Sunday morning!
Cheers and thanks for the cache.
Cheers and thanks for the cache.
Found the first container but had to travel back later to replace, as some muggles from the previous nights wedding party showed up at just the wrong time. Found the GZ even with heaps of tourists swarming around the town.

Great day for a bike ride and what better place to ride to than Ravenswood. We come here often it's such a nice place to have lunch and socialize with other patrons. Found cache easily and a FTF was a bonus.TNLN. TFTC.
