Not having much luck today with our caching. This is our second DNF in a row, no good especially as we are introducing some friends to geocaching.
No people around today so looking was not a problem at all. There is a lot of tree clearing here but from previous loggers we thought that the cache was still in tact.
we will keep a watch on this one crank1

found it, cache log was very wet couldnt write in it, needs to checked by owner. sort of worried when i seen all the trees cut down but we went anyway. had a look around and got it. nice little park.
Thanks for bringing us here to this park. Quick find, but log too wet to sign. There is a hole in the bag. Needs some maintenance.
Like previous finders, I was very uncertain about the state of this cache, particularly as I got closer. Thankfully, the park was abandoned (except for one dedicated runner) owing to the fact that on top of that hill, the wind is absolutely ferocious!
Anyway, after a good hunt in all the obvious spots turned nothing up, I switched my focus to some less obvious spots. It was then that I saw something perfectly innocent in a slightly less innocent location. After a quick prod confirmed my suspicions, I had the cache in hand. Signed log and replaced carefully. Thanks for the cache!

I didn't get to this one on my cycling trips earlier in the year, but was passing by today and stopped for the quick find. As noted in other logs the cache is quite exposed and if the tree-felling activity continues the cache will have nowhere to hide.

Got a bit discouraged with the trees cut down but found a non-concealed cache. Log is a bit wet and looks like trees might be gone soon. Owner might want to change location. TFTC!!!
Out caching in the area with Pea bear today & as we approached GZ we thought it was going to be an immediate DNF. The needle was pointing to where a huge tree was lying on the ground & cut into sections, but after a short search Pea bear made the happy discovery. Thanks crank1 for another great cache.
Out on another caching mission with BorisB&Natasha. We decided that this would be a nice area to target today and were not disappointed when we arrived at this lovely park. Cache was quickly spotted from a distance as it was exposed but reapplied some camo after signing the log. Thanks crank1 for the cache.
Quick find today. The covering sort of gave it away, but it didn't matter. TFTC SL
Fairly quick find today. Just finished signing log when a few kids entered the park. TFTC.
Was looking a little while for this one, found eventually by my sons mate who just happened to turn around SL TFTC !!!
Great hide! Greysubmarine and I thought we'd do a quick caching on the way home from Cranburne at 10pm. Looked and looked. And looked.
Just as we were about to give this a DNF, hubby spotted it then I immediately did.

Found this on a night run with Mrs G. No muggles in the park but the hint had me confused. Found it in the end nice hide TFTC our first for 2013. Woo hoo.
Happy New Year 2013

Out early for a caching run by bike. This was my first find of the day. I tried to get this one many months ago but was muggled out and so couldn't attempt it. Today it was an easy find. TFTC. SL.
Found today on the 12.12.12 while out and about with the Geodog. I, like others before me had a bit of a sinking feeling when I first saw the felled tree. I had a vision of the cache being under a few tonnes of the tree.I had a very unhappy GPS today so I sort of guessed where GZ should roughly be and just wandered around looking here and there. I did laugh out loud when the cache was found though. So close!. Signed log. Thanks for the cache crank1.
Nice and easy find, quaint park as well. Had to pretend to take photos while muggles went past. TFTC!

As we approached GZ we too thought the tree had been felled. as we got to GZ a muggle came up to us straight away asking "how things are going?", then asked if "K was Marsha?". Nope she was a photographer, so we waited till she moved on before retrieving cache, logging visit then moving on.
As I arrived at the park I didn't have much hope as one of the trees has been freshly cut down but luckily it wasn't in that one. Sl thanks Crank1 for the hide
Grabbing this one would have been the perfect way to end a successful afternoon, but when I arrived, two muggles were where I judged I needed to be, and were doing what young lovers tend to do. [:X] I stayed in my car for ten minutes but they weren't going anywhere so I left. I'll get this one another day.
Sent the evening at my nieces birthday as the cache was near went up the road for a quick look with S4pphire and nathdelany and Geosis. Nice quick find
13:15.. 2nd find today... Grandson thought he had hold of a spider, jumped back and will use a stick next time...
Very nice hide!
Found in the cover of darkness. Perhaps the CO could check on status of the hide for a bit of maintenance.
Thx for the cache crank1

Had a look around but could not get the clue and with shadows long and already overdue at home it was not going to be found today. TFTC Will return!
Found with draw four. Nice park with good views of the local area.
Cache was in a nice hidden spot. TFTC [^]

Found this afternoon. Nice park with some good views. Lovely old big trees.
thanks crank1.
thanks crank1.
A nice park to visit and do lunch. A couple of magpies nesting real close...however they did not mind us being around! Must have timed it well-no muggles at all. TFTH. There is now a bear in there!

A quick find and completed just in time as on my return to the car some Muggles had appeared. Doing this cache with Muggles in this park would be very hard, best left when there is no one around, like when I start this cache. A great park to visit too. TFTC crank1.

Quite like these back to nature hides, and this is a very pleasant park. Thanks for bringing me here, and thanks for the cache.

TFTC, weather was windy but the cache's hidy spot kept us a a bit warmer.
Two families of muggles were playing at the park, but neither seemed too interested in us.
Thanks again,

Just a couple of caches done as we headed southwards this morning.

Nice and deserted this morning.

As usual I have Monday night all to myself with not a care in the world. I left straight from work and headed to the south east along the Princes Highway to try and grab a few east and south east of Dandenong. The night was threatening to rain but by 1 am not a drop had been seen. This cache was one of those collected. After realising I had a filter on that stopped me looking for micros I went back over ground to grab this one. A brief search revealed the hide, which looked quite out of place. I tried to make it look as natural as I could when I placed it back. Thanks again crank1 for taking me here.
Found at 2215. Very nice find, agree with others, was a tricky little spot. Beware of spiders...
Aimmez spotted this one! We were five minutes early for a friends place and made this diversion. TFTH!
This was a lovely park, and the cache was found tucked nicely away.
Thanks crank1 for the cache and bringing me to this pleasant spot today.
Thanks crank1 for the cache and bringing me to this pleasant spot today.
A local kid showed us where it was, after I'd already noticed the hiding spot it and was trying to be circumspect so they didn't see! A dead ibis near the cache, hope people haven't been attacking them like that swan in Moonee Ponds...BTW there was no Census in 2009.
What a cute little park. Found with help of geokid (chicken) who wrestled with a good spider or two before proudly producing this cache. Thanks
I did a quick scan of all the trees without seeing it. I then went back and looked more thoroughly and spotted it as soon as I saw it. I don't know how I'd missed it a couple of minutes earlier. This must be the second or third cache that has inhabited this park at some stage - I definitely remember coming here before. Thanks for bringing me back, and for the cache.

A quick almost drive by with Mr of The Mini Mob. He found the cache while I was still wandering in circles.
Took nothing, left nothing.

Long weekend! Monday off work! There really is only one thing to do, so LouiseAnn and I decided it was time to attempt to break our number of caches in one day record. After much debating and deliberation during the week (when we probably should have been working) we agreed the Lynbrook / Narre Warren area was cache rich enough to support a big day. Also, neither of us have been caching out here before so we wouldn’t have the problem of clashing with caches that only one of us had found before. This was cache number three of thirty for the day. Thankfully there were no muggles to deal with and the GPS lead us straight to the cache, making this a quick and easy find. The cache is in good order. Thanks for the cache crank1.

This was our third cache find of the day. Pathfinder24 and I decided to break our record of number of finds in one day (previously 15, we made it to 30 in the end!). We picked the Lynbrook and Narre Warren area, because it looked like there would be a lot of caches close together in this area. On arrival in the area, we were confident that we would have no problems, as there were no muggles around and some usual cache hiding targets. The GPS lead us straight to the hide and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks for the cache Crank1.
Easily found at 06:30 in the morning. People drive around here as fast as they do in my part of town over in the western burbs.
Today was a fill the blank day and this cache seemed easy enough on the description. We arrived at the cache in darkness and began our search,
it took a quick call to zero in on a well hidden cache which was duly logged, but felt a terrain of 1.5 would be more appropriate.

Nice little park and a great hiding spot. Found it with Vicki.
Thanks, crank1, for yet another cache.
Thanks, crank1, for yet another cache.
This was cache # 5 of 24 for the day around Cranbourne and Narre Warren. I recognized the area straight away, I spent a fair bit of time looking for a previous cache here, thankfully this one gave up after a short search. My thanks to crank1 for the cache.
A very late log I'm afraid, having just completed a thorough reconciliation of finds whilst out on adventures with Cached and/or Robtas - slacky Wacky missed just a few (cough cough)
Many thanks crank1 from the Wacky one

Found with ggkof on a lovely Friday caching adventure. I'm sure we'd been here before for another cache back in the past. No matter, found this one easily.
