Down south again today to collect a few more in the McLaren Vale region.

This was my third find on the way down this side of the hwy. Nice location, quickly spotted, had to move a pole to release its hold. No lid, but cache in good nic surprisingly. It might need some attention before the winter.

Thanks for the cache Lava12, always a treat to find one of your caches. Find #6384 at 1.25pm

Out chasing numbers again and today it was the October OTD and the Bletchley series and anything else that seemed like a good idea. Managed to finish what I'd planned just on dark with over 60 finds and only 2 DNFs.
Thanks to Lava12 for putting out this cache for me to find

Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I started the day with a breakfast event in McLaren Vale, before spending the morning exploring the vicinity. We then headed west towards Myponga and Myponga Beach, enjoying a nice beach walk seeing the fascinating geology. A final late lunch stop was had in Myponga, and then we returned home in the early afternoon.

An interesting winery that we decided to call in after finding this cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Lava12 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

This morning my wife and I were out driving around until lunch o’clock. I’m not sure if lunch o’clock is an official time or not because it can change. Sure, wine o’clock and beer o’clock are universal constants because they are not based on an actual time but a “feeling”. Lunch o’clock can also occur once in a day whereas beer o’clock can occur multiple times.

With only two days to go on our holiday we are making a mental list of places we need to visit (like Red Poles) when we return. Seeing I made a mental list to turn off the iron before I flew down from Brisbane I’m not sure how successful that will be. tftc

After an errand down south Owl collected Sushilord for a caching trip. After a pleasant walk to collect some OTD caches and a very nice lunch at the bakery, they decided to wander around McLaren Vale to collect some of the back roads caches. This one was a quick find in the eponymous place on the way home.

17-Feb-20
I started 2020 with some improbable caching goals that only lasted until mid February. Red Face
With so few caches within 20 kms of home they are now to just complete the Calendar to have found both a mystery and a multicache on every day. Should be able to do one probably not both. [^]

Today I needed to find a multi cache. Cool But if I am going to have to drive forty or so kilometers to get a multicache I may as well take a circuitous route and pick up a few other caches along the way. Cool So I winder why this cache was so named...just kidding. A quick find. Smile

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.

Based at Willunga house-sitting for a few weeks, a drive to McLaren Vale again today, to the info centre to get some camping info on Kangaroo Island. Took a long way round via California Road, caching on the way. Filling in the gaps on the map now.

Coffee at Info Centre, Information taken, Another cache off the list as we head home now. This is the last cache of the day for us. Have had another 20 find day. Thanks to all Cache Owners who mad this day possible for us.

Glad it was red! Thanks Lava12

I have seen this cache before in a puzzle and finally today I made my way to gz, a nice and easy drive by.

A big afternoon of caching today, was a matter of seeing where the caches took me and finding a few target ones along the way. A nice trip down towards the southern suburbs, after a few caches were found a few new ones had been published so a rush for FTF was made in Onkaparinga national park. Then a new wherigo had been published 20km away so I rushed to that one even though the hope of get FTF was going to be rare as people would have been closer, an event followed in the evening followed by a few multis in the area. Overall a great afternoon/evening of caching. 27 finds in total with 0 DNFs.

Thanks for the Cache.

#2952 A bit of an arvo outing in McLaren Vale, caching, wine tasting, caching, beer tasting and caching Smile. Enjoying our holiday in nearby Goolwa visiting from north east Victoria.

Sampled some local beers at the nearby establishment, a couple weren't too bad. Simple concept with the poles but look very effective in drawing the eye driving past. Nice hide and TFTC Lava12.

Out & about with clare007 collecting some caches in the area on this warm evening...
The cache was located quickly however the logbook was a mushy mess...I replaced the logbook (the other one was unsalvageable)...might have to come back here for a little wine tasting and nibbles...

A sunny friday afternoon with a day of ment that a day cachng was in order. I was hoping to finish of the cats and dogs series I started last weekend and, hopefully, puck up a few more caches around McLaren Vale. Unfortunetly a 4 O'CLock dentist appointment ment that I had to finish early than I would have liked. Despite this a good caching day was had.
