Well that had us stumped! Checked the most likely spot then widened the search area with no luck.
Looked everywhere!!!!!
Found an obvious stump, with obvious hiding spot. (like previous log)
Found an obvious stump, with obvious hiding spot. (like previous log)
As with previous cacher, found several ideal hiding spots nearby, but unable to find the cache.
GPS eventually settled down...found an obvious stump, with an obvious hole, but no cache...
We found this cache during our wonderful journey through New Zealand. Thank you for the cache and the great time in your country! Greetings from Germany.
GPS had us a few metres out but a look at the obvious soon had us smiling. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
I had given up looking for this and was messing around in the snow when Tizzie whizz said I've found it TFTC
Took a while in the snow. Pinkpeardrops had given up and was messing about with the snow. Whilst I continued searching and soon had correct stump. TFTC.
Thought I might not find it with all the snow around but preservered and hey presto.
Nice forest park. Have to come back when no snow and explore on the bikes. Tftc. No swaps so left one behind
Found it while out on a fishing trip at Lake Tekapo and the canals. Lovely spot stopped while on a drive along the lake. Had the GZ to myself, although a few vehicles whizzed past they were all too busy to notice what 1eyednbf (1 eyed and proud of it) was up to, quick easy find, TFTC
Found with Hinemoana while on a trip around the South Island. Thank you for placing this cache.

Anzac Weekend, and my bf had a photography course in Tekapo, and it's my mum's b day also, so decided to make a whole weekend of it!
Spend time caching together with the fam, and just having a nice weekend in Tekapo. Found 50 caches, but some very awesome ones in some beautiful scenery!!
Another on the way back from matagouri challenge. No time to do the rest of the walks, but that's on the to do for next time.
Most hides found with the whole fam were simply signed as 'Team Polak' to save our ink and the logsheet and our hands
Consec caching day # 538

Enjoyed the walk from the campground with some geocaching on the way and great sights to be seen. Thanks
We only had time for the closest two in the park today. This was the first. We semi direct lined it from the car - and had no problems spotting the likely GZ from a distance.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Took a while to find this one as my GPS was being a bit wobbly. I found eventually after it partially settled although I covered a large search area before eventually getting the find, TFTC!
We were staying in Fairlie for the weekend and headed to Tekapo to try out the Tripp slide. Stopped on the way for a ride here. Impressed with the tracks here and surprised we haven't discovered the area before. TFTC!
Co ordinates a bit out in the iPhone approx 16 metres but there is a lot of tree cover

Should have found this a whole lot quicker - the GPS arrow would settle and kept flipping back and forth. Kids did some biking and we returned to find it almost immediately (sitting in plain sight). TFTC.
Holy temperature change batman!!! Quick find racing the husband Cache was a bit exposed so we tried to hide cover it a bit more. TFTC
Have to confess that I had to check out several likely places before a successful find (not the only one though, noticeable evidence of other searches Remember orienteering in this forest a few years ago, TFTC.
7th cache for the day. Nice easy find, great place to stop for the family after a hard day on the slopes.
Found during a pleasant weekend in Tekapo. I see the geocoin we placed here has been claimed already - good to see it on its way so promptly!
Found our first TB here today - "Corps of Re-Discovery" picked up... had been placed in there earlier in the day.
Left a small swappable as this is a great cache for kids to visit and it didn't contain anything. TFTC.

We could see it from the Track as it had become uncovered, signed it and covered it up a little bit better.TFTC
I planned an Easter Egg Hunt for the family in the area but was worried about the real bunnies that could eat the chocolate before the kids find it. But rabbits don't eat chocolate, do they??? After the hunt, we could go to find this cache the stomach full of chocolate! Great!
Tekapo Falcon's first official find. We left our mark and a cool souvenir. We forgot to bring a pencil to write in the logbook.
A quick easy find after a short walk into the forest, and we collected a bag of the (prickly) cones lying all over the ground. TFTC
When you go down to the woods today you're in for a big surprise! Great spot for a picnic!
Well this was a long hot and tiring day, but even with muggles around we have hit #1100, our goal for today. Celebrated after finding this one with fish and chips in the park before going home. TFTC
Very windy today but very nice in amongst the trees,Jet did his part to keep the rabbit population down/TFTC

After competing at the Canterbury Orienteering champs it was off for a drive to the head of the lake to enjoy the scenery and grab a few caches. Stopped here on my return for a quick find. TFTC.

Last cache for Tekapo before continuing on to Christchurch. GZ had us a point with no obvious hide. However, by widing our search, we soon discovered the cache. With log signed, we were off to the next one. TFTC

Arrived at GZ to find no stump close by. We widened our search but still no luck. After looking further afield, the cache was discovered. It certainly is not in the obvious spot. Not to worry! We found it and signed the log and that's all that matters. An interesting little forest area this. Another Bitsprayer cache completed. Many thanks.

Searched around for a bit and then found the right place. We then strolled up the path to the other cache in the area.
Found on the way to the mega

Traipsing across the soft pine needles and crunchy pine cones in this deserted forest today, we zeroed in quickly on GZ and soon found the cache safe and well. TFTC, Bitsprayer. =^.^=
Started the long way to this from the main road - got to bottom of hill and realised our mistake Stretch0 went back to retreive the car and i walked on to near GZ where caught up with me - a straight ford find after that thanks for the cache
Thought it might be a shorter stroll but soon became evident so i went back up the hill and retieved the cache mobile and bought it round to pick up Niteowlnz and then on to a quickish find TFTC
It was a gorgeous, crisp sunny morning, and there were drifts of snow still in the forest, which made for a lovely walk through here. Many thanks for bringing us to a spot we wouldn't have come to otherwise.
