Logs
Add me to the list as I thought I was in the right place although I didn't go out as far as 40 metres.
Had a look for this one, with no luck. Then noticed the recent logs, so flagged it away.
Same story as previous log - we found a mint tin lid and a syringe so didn't want to get our hands involved in this one! Looked carefully from above, but couldn't see anything.
Found a mint tin lid but no tin. With a syringe lying near I wasn't going rummaging too much!
Have successfully rounded up the herd this morning, thanks to the hint, no thanks to my GPSr , which was 40m off. Was in any case an easy find, though I had to wait out some muggles. TFTC!
TFTC Found it on the Fan Trail as the thousands madetheir way to the Rugby World Cup 2011 Final - NZ v France. NZ the world champs 8-7. Go the ABs
#2391. Found the rams from Guangzhou, as well as the many other lighted "sculptures" in the park ... interesting. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Didn't see the goats but got the cache ok.
We were walking the fan trail to the stadium for the rugby and stopped off here to 'take photos of the crowd'.
The only one we looked for on the way.

New container installed (same as previous), also added waterproof paper logbook, will see how it holds up.
The log book is pretty well shot due to water. The lid has came off the rain is just pouring in.
Easy find. Contents damp tho. Suggest a plastic bag to cover it? Cool camo. TFTC
Second of five caches found today with WelshGirl77 and SquishyD. The cache was quickly located but the logbook is damp and I didn't have a spare to replace it.

Found during an early morning stroll around the CBD before going to the Microsoft Teched. tftc.
Mint camo. HAHA! Alright, sorry, bad pun. Does needs maintenance, as already mentioned, TFTC
Wet, rusty. Needs replacement or archive. But an interesting area all the same. TFTC.

The log book is soaked and needs to be replaced. The cache can still be found without any problems though. See my previous log for the picture.
At first I didn't understand what the name had meant as the cache location didn't match the name but after I did some more walking around I finally understood. I wasn't able to sign the log book as it was soaked and I included a picture to show the CO.

I somehow managed to scribble my log entry in the wet logbook, but it really needs maintenance. Nice camo otherwise. Had been in this park 9 months ago when we arrived in New Zealand.

I looked for this cache over the last few weeks while on our first stay at Starship so I am logging it now that we are back home.
The cache needs maintenance as it is very soggy.
I replaced the cache upside down so the water will drain out but the log book is wet.

New GPS for my b'day, turn left out of my apartment and 1st cache found
cheers for that!
cheers for that!
After a nice pleasant stroll through a park I can't think of anything better to do than find the cache. This one is in a great spot, but the log was soaked through and the container is rusting on the inside. If the next person could bring a small baggie to put the cache in that will go a long way towards preserving it. I managed to sign with my gel ink pen, but without a baggie it is just going to get soaked again. In any case it is in a great spot and definitely not an obvious hide. TFTC!
First time in Myers Park which is a bit sad as I worked in town for about 3 years. Dried out as much as I could but needs a new log book.
Wet underfoot and in the cache. So much rain and even tornadoes recently so guess it's been tested. NINO TFTC
Quick find while heading around the CBD today before flying home tomorrow.
Good hint, quick find....always appreciate that.

Had been out to search for this one once before, but GPS signal had been fairly poor, and I had no hint, and turns out, I had been completely looking in the wrong place.
Looked up the hint now though, and then, got it as soon as we reached the area.
It was awesome!! Didn't even look funny, as I just walked straight up and grabbed it!

Found this one with my sis I still was trying to get better signal when she had already found it.
We all headed in the general direction together, easily seen, but sent little mini mob in to get it. he comes in handy sometimes! TFTC
added new logbook, container is getting a bit weather, will check logs to see if it leaks.
Our first day in NZ and our first Cache here.

Found it! However it was full of water, logbook soaking, and no contents bar a rusty badge -- geocoins not present.
Logbook soaked, needs replacing. Also no other contents bar a rusty badge -- possibly muggle-pillaged?
Parked by your cache while driving the Team Y-Cacho's Auckland cache raid 24 hour mission
Many thanks for your cache, plan to be back soon with Butterfly_Lady

Nice park, have walked past it many many times over the past 7 or 8 years, as I work in town. Lots of muggles in all directions. I located this cache quickly, but had to wait to retrieve it.
Managed to get my hands on it, but had to walk away, Headed up to the other cache in the same park, and returned it about a half hour later. TFTC

Easy find - though there were no trackables resident.
Container is getting a little rusty

3575. There was a cool breeze keeping us comfortable as we wandered through this well kept park. It was good to find a cache here.
Thanks

Quick and easy find. However, despite the inventory listing 3 trackables, there were none to be found.
Got this one this morning on my way to work, nice park in the center of town, TFTC

On my trip around the world I first visited the States, travelled from there to Australia and continued my trip in New Zealand.
Right now I'm a few days in Auckland. While walking through the town I see a lot and can also find some caches.
Geocaching can take you to spots you would never visit and so I used my trip to find some caches in every state and country.
Thank you for this cache and greetings from Germany

A really dank evening in Auckland and dark early. Just managed to fit this one in before retiring to my hotel room, damp but far from cold. Just arrived from England on Weds so the heat is very welcome.

Ashamed to say I have never been to this park before-great sculpture-thanks for bringingn us here
Took a long time for the hint to click. Log was wet and in poor shape, tried to dry it out.
Had a quick look but a muggle was resting right next to the GZ and was trying to strike up a convo with us. Will have to come back for this one.
Found it at last!!! Yay!! A brilliant start to my Xmas Day! Left 'Jacks Journey Home" a trackable geocoin!! Merry Christmas!!
Decided to come to work early. Needed a morning run in the park to clear up my head. Did that and got this cache on the way.

#266: Easy find, though well hidden. Lots of muggles so timing was the hardest part.

Quick find, lots of muggles around although GZ is pretty secluded (apart from 2 dodgy looking characters who were oblivious to us!). TFTC.
Really nice park area for the cache. Found quickly in good more quiet location. SL TFTC
Founf this one on our first day in Auckland, in the neighbourhood of our hotel,

Another pleasant visit to town. Had lunch a a very nice little French Place nearby on Queen St just above Real Groovy. A quick find here on the way back to the car. TFTC
Tftc, lotsa muggles enjoying the sunshine, sat down and surveyed the scene before retrieval
Nice goats! Bunch of guys trimming trees this morning. Gecoin gone but left a note. TFTC
