Tftf!Had trouble with app not working so couldn't navigate.Went old school and just wandered around silted. Then realised too late wr didn't have a pen..so couldn't sign log. (Have DM owner with photo for proof).Had no idea old ruins were here!
Had a really good look around with no joy. Have made contact with CO and with permission replaced the container. I didn't have an ammo tin so cache is now a 1l clip-lock with some trinkets and a log book. Thanks for placing this cache Hinklenator, I hope we can keep such a great location alive.
Did not find, had a good look around the area where previous photos showed it to be
Out and about but failed to unearth this one. We had a detailed search at GZ but no smilie today.
What a pleasant afternoon walk in the country! Spotted a wallaby and a couple of roos. And there was some historical sites I never would have known about but for this cache. So . . a big TFTC.
Found It!
A nice little walk and an interesting bit of history. A quick find once I got to GZ.

Found on our Wagga Wagga trip. Whilst doing the Wagga V.I.P.'s adventure lab this cache was on our to-do list. One of my all time favourite caches was the one at William Farrer's grave. The description of that cache does not reveal whose grave it is so in spirit of that, I will not give any GC codes. But yeah, I really wanted to see ruins of where he used to work so this was a great cache. I can't believe it's not more signposted. A lovely walk to get here too, very easy to access and a huge and good-quality container at the end. Can't go wrong! TNLNSL. TFTC Hinklenator, favourite point for sure!
**Found whilst in Wagga for a couple of nights**
Out and about with The Empire after grabbing a coffee and grabbing a couple of caches before leaving town.
It was great to be back in Wagga. First time I have visited since I served here in the late '80s in the Royal Australian Air Force. It certainly has changed A good time had by all these couple of days with memories made and laughs had.
Thanks for the cache Hinklenator and for highlighting the area. Appreciate your efforts.

**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

Our last day in Wagga Wagga - picking up some caches and coffee then heading home! Checking out a WP for an Adventure Lab brought us here to grab this one. Thanks for the cache Hinklenator.

hey this was my first cache and i really enjoyed the search and the history tied to it
Easy find as tge cache was exposed half way up the hill! All in tact though. Log signed and replaced in the obvious hiding spot. TFTC
Very fun but there was some wildlife there, some kangaroos and something I could not identify, there was also a rabbit
Really enjoyed learning about the lab that was in this location! Thanks for placing a cool container as well! TFTC
Nice to see an ammo tin. My pen would just not work, so I used a stick to sign my name. Tftc.
A bit of a hike up the side of the hill, but the cache was a straight forward find once we got there.
Once again we are on the go in Wagga Wagga. We come here semi regularly as our son and his family live in Tumut. The boys attend swimming lessons and play soccer in Wagga, so we often do a few caches before or after we watch the boys. This is the first time in several years we have spent time here on our own, and have really enjoyed getting out and doing some serious caching.
The quality of many of the series we have done and the hides we have found is outstanding. Each day sees us finding a wide variety of cache types, which we are enjoying. We believe that a mix of both rural and urban locations contributes to the variety. Well done Wagga Wagga, you obviously have an enthusiastic local group of geocachers.
TFTC we appreciate your effort in developing, hiding and maintaining this geocache.

Found it last week with Sarah and Werty! But I forgot to log it :/
Was an amazing location! Was so cool seeing the old lab! As a first year of the uni I know that I never would have even known it was there if it wasn’t for this cache!!! TFTC

Forgot to bring my pen. But still was a great find, was a bit of a challengee about 20mins. Tftc!
After yesterdays big adventure I was hoping for a sleep in and then a quiet morning caching before winding my way back to Albury. Was awake early though and was all packed and ready to go at 7 when I noticed the car had a flat tire. Hadn't changed one on this vehicle so took a while - looks like I ripped the side wall yesterday (though pretty certain I didn't drive on it flat).
The plan then was to pick up 6 multis to complete a challenge from Victoria, climb The Rock to loo for butterflies and claim the old cache there, and then head home. Achieved both (and got a few traditions as well) but took longer than I thought and only just beat the rest of the family home when I got there at 3.
Thought I would pick up this trad while I was in the university grounds. Best time to cache at CSU - Saturday morning during school holidays - it was a ghost town. Parked near the wine tasting area and walked the trail - then made a wasted journey up the hill as I thought that was where I needed to be. Wandered back down to the old lab and started hunting. Would say I got distracted at GZ as I clipped some barbed wire. Eventually came back and found the cache. Log signed and on my way. Live in the federal seat of Farrer (which is not based in Wagga!).

Found this cache not where it was suppose to be, re-hide it. Found out later that the CO could not find it himself so revisited and put it back where it should be. Sent him an inbox to let him know that we were there but he must have been busy at the time.
Have re-hid were we think it belong now and should be the D/T rating that belongs with it.
The cache was good condition, logbook is fine, plenty of room left. We have found it, we signed it, we replaced it, and now we have logged it.
Thanks Hinklenator, Lil Donna & Go

Revisited this cache on the 1/1/19 as per reasons listed below.
With a day off in hand and a possible souvenir available to redeem, I decided on what better way to enjoy my day with a day of caching over in Wagga. After my short night sleep I made my way over to the Wagga for the event which was first on my list and happens to be held at Macca’s. Afterwards, some of us tagged along with each other to find caches we had attempted before but put a DNF on it. We also visited a couple of the newer caches in Wagga before heading our separate ways. TB visit on all caches and on some of the smaller caches I signed as 1/1 JM. I enjoyed my day out. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for the enjoyment it brought me today.
Today’s caches:
1 Event
6 Finds and 1 Revisit
Seeing how I found the nearby multi cache, I decided to revisit this one so I could sign the log sheet correctly because I forgot my pen last time. I made sure I had my pen with me this time. It was also a very quick find as I knew where it was. As I was signing it I noticed a signed name from September but not yet claimed online. Anyway, thanks again for the cache and the history lesson.

I was in Wagga today to collect a few things for my trip away next week. After completing that part of my day I still had a little time left over to at least find one cache. I decided on this one as I have DNF'ed in the past. a few times. When I arrived at the parking area, I made my way to GZ. I started to look at the area and like last time, there was a few options of where the cache could be. I decided on the close hiding spots first and soon after the expanded search began the well hidden cache was spotted. I started to sign the log book and my pen had no ink I found out. So I signed it best I could and took a photo of my caches name in the log book (I have placed the photo with this log). If you need more proof I found it I also captured the Munzee that is within the cache. TFTC, the opportunity to turn a into a , the Munzee, Hidden Creatures: Bigfoot souvenir and for bringing me to this location to learn about some of Wagga's history.
T4TC - Found with kriddynsash09. Was made a little difficult wirh a toddler and an 8 year old. But we gpt there. What a view.
After two very long weeks at work and other commitments on the to-do-list, I decided to get away and do some caching. I decided to clean up as much as I could of north Wagga today on the long weekend. Thanks to all CO’s for the fun and for the caches I found today. Sorry to all cache owners if I put 2/9/17 instead of 2/10/17.
When I approached, I gave the plaque a good read learning about the Lab. I then went to GZ and got started looking and came up with nothing. I then expanded my search like the logs said and I searched in every spot that could hide an 'ammo can' within 20m of GZ and still nothing. I then took a step back and tried a different approach. Still nothing. By that time it had been 20-30mins I had spent searching so it was time to move on. O'well maybe next time.

Could see where the ammo box should have been. Scouted around the hillside but it seems to have gone awol. Even CO couldn't find it.
Interesting when the owner cannot find his own cache, cache not where I put it. How could it move when it is an ammo can, not like it is a micro
What an interesting story behind this cache! The gate leading to this site doesn't have anything on it either so you would have no idea about this place unless you were a geocacher!
Like others have said, the coordinates were a bit off. There are lots of hints though about climbing a hill, problem is I climbed the wrong hill and spent ages scrambling around looking for a medium sized cache.
Eventually I tried another direction and spotted the cache almost instantly
TFTC, I'll give you a favourite for the location, history and of course an Ammo Can!

Cache had fallen and was open, everything all in order though. Watch out for loose ground getting to it.
Hi there Hinklenator. We found your cache "William Farrer" at 2:06:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 12113.
[[Blue]
We started off by finishing the RGGT Final cache and then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest, and so on. We ended up logging 7 and DNF'd 0.
Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 12m up hill from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.
