No luck for me here. Spent about 20 minutes looking everywhere. I leave covered in small bits of bark and leaves and am convinced that it's missing.
On a trip to Melbourne from Brisbane for a wedding.
IolantheK and I decided to do some caching while seeing the sights and today Portsea was the final destination [^]
IolantheK saw this cache and the scouting theme had here hooked [^]
We worked our way through the clues and WPs untill we finally got to the final location
Nice easy find [^]
The cache is dry and in good condition [^]

Spiffy- and I headed out for what is becoming as regular Sunday Arvo cache run. Collected the clues and went to GZ were cache was found quickly. TFTC
Today we continued what is becoming an enjoyable and fairly regular Sunday afternoon caching run and today was another afternoon of getting at least 6 multis in the day for a challenge cache we want to collect on a future road trip in a few weeks. Today the weather was absolutely perfect and was great to get back into wearing the shorts again so we could get plenty of scratches on our legs.
-----------------------------------------------
We arrived at the start just up the road a bit and then gathered all the clues (or so we thought) and headed off to our GZ. It didn't look good when we arrived so after re-reading the description I realized we had got one number wrong and somehow my buddy knew what it was so after the next much better looking GZ my buddy made the find while I did muggle watch on a fairly busy street.
Thanks skip2992 for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

Find #636
I came here from Camp Fire Hollow just around the corner. This was an easier find until I arrived at GZ. There were muggle dog walkers and motorists in a seemingly never ending stream. I sat down and pretended to access something on my phone until a mother pushing a stroller had passed. I was confident that I had spotted the hide from my position and so when she's passed, I pounced only to discover that the hide wasn't the hide afterall.
I looked very hard and then scratched around then shortly thereafter had the cache in hand. I then retreated to the lawn to sign the log only to have a dog walking muggle walk through the park. [8] He couldn't see what I was doing, in fact he probably just thought I was some sort of nutter crouched down on the grass. I can live with that.
With the log signed and the clue photographed, I remembered this time, I returned the cache to it's hidey hole and was on my way.

This one has been on the radar for such a long time, and today we were playing in the park so I suggested to Emily she goes and finds it. She came back in no time cache in hand, signed log and carefully replaced. TFTC.

As a current scouter I am familiar with these historical sites I had great pleasure in revisiting them as a geocacher. TFTC
Cool looking house, it's nice to see a bit of history still standing.
Stopped on the side street, and wandered back to WP, waited for a break in traffic (and dog-walkers) to grab the numbers, and do the calcs. Headed across to GZ, where my GPS had a bit of a fit, but once it came good, it was a nice easy find.
Note to future cachers: Attempting this one at 5pm on a weekday requires a good bit of stealth!

Was passing through the area today and couldn't resist stopping for a cache. Had the coords worked out in no time and soon after had the cache in hand. Thanks for the hide skip2992.
This one was a nice quick work out & a nice quick find as well. Took longer to wait out the passing muggles to replace. Took GC & left some swaps. TFTC
Nice cache. Not too difficult to work out. Left TB 24 GILWELL as this is a scouting event so appropriate.TFTC
This was the second of a bunch while on the way home from holidays down this way. I collected the clues, calculated a GZ and soon had the stash in hand at 15:40 from the first place I looked .
TNLNSL, although a couple of our geocoins had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks skip2992.

Another great TDC / LLTRA caching night. About 30 or so finds for the night, including some big caches needed for the P81 combinations. The bikes were out for these caches. The night ended up heading down the Mornington Peninsula cleaning up a few more unfound caches. As always, a great night, lots of fun and great conversation as always. Beautiful weather coupled with nice cool temps made a perfect caching night...
Hehehe. Sometimes you get lucky, this was the case here, or did I use "the force" who will ever know, just walked up and checked a spot about 30m from our calculated coords (wrong calcs I think) and put my hands straight on it. Freaky but good. TFTC.

Out for another Monday night cache cache run with the TDC,Returned to try this one again, my coordinates had me at the same spot as my previous visit, we searched and searched and still no joy, we decided we better go check the numbers again, on the way Marshy looked elsewhere and Bingo we found it. Thanks skip2992 its good to finally get this one.
The Demolition Crew and the Rebel Alliance (LLTRA) teamed up once again for a night of caching fun on bikes and foot. The early evening was focused on gaining two more squares for the D/T matrix by bike which saw us climb a few big hills in the Lysterfield area. The remaining part of the night’s caching saw us in an area where all could bag a fair number of finds. I must say is getting harder to find such areas with all of us having cleared large areas of Melbourne. This time we headed south to the Mount Martha area of town. We had the co-ords for this one, but soon realised they were wrong. On teh way to correct them, Marshy checked a spot, and found the cache.
Helping Dad (sparks_sparks) find this one and replacing it have realised it's still there just a few inches to the left
Sorry for the long time being disabled but back again

DAMN! gone again I will have a look at this in next few days and decide on what action to take.
Will have a look at all of the caches in this series ASAP
Hopefully this can stay.

Yes, sorry to say this one has been muggled. Found the ziplock baggie but that was all. I'll also post a maintainance note too. Thanks anyway.
After working out the coordinates at the first location, we made our way down to GZ, but even with the hint couldn't find anything. Looked under plenty of spots where the hint suggests... but no luck... lucky this one's close to home, so can come back, just hope it's not been moved or muggled!

Gathered the clue and went to GZ. Hunted for a while without success. Checked clue and still couldn't find.
Last cache of the serie was finally found after two unsuccessful
attempts last year.

Quick pick up on the way home from work...this was the last one before the finale...gonna save that for a big day!
Great historical valve to the scouting moment. I glad see the house is still standing has not made way for new house

Standing here gives me the same WOW feeling as being lucky enough to walk into "The Lodge". After getting the new co-ords Cracka1 and I headed off to a long search. Clue was good, we just didn't look hard enough. Found it eventually.
Nice spot for a hide
Found after a brief wait - muggles were an issue today even thou it's not the busiest part of the day.
Thx for the cache and putting it back online

Back in place and ready to find. If your found the numbers before please do it again as I have moved GZ and the final formula has changed
ikkibrady and myself had a good look on GZ and around and couldnt find anything, looks like some kids have been playing there though =)
Went to cach location but at gz it looked like something science was going on. The ground under the tree flattened and cleared and white egg looking things in the middle. No cache though
Got the required info and drove to GZ.. Had a look around before being interrupted by postie wanting to use toilet block! Went for a wander til postie had moved off again and had a longer look before a muggle turned up to exercise her dogs. Decided to give it up for today but will be back. Have now found 6 of this series - with the other 2 DNFs!
Find # 541 Found @ 1140 Hrs.
This one took a bit of looking once at GZ at first i thought i may have mucked up the numbers so redid the numbers which were right so take another look & there it was.
Fifth of 6 + 1 DNF for the day.
And to top thing off my pen died so i will have to come back to log the log book.

Took my two boys out for a cache and play today. Stopped at the pole first and got the numbers. A quick calc later and we were playing on the equipment in a park. After a while we headed over and found the cache. Signed the log and rehid. TFTC.
Great research and photo again, well done. Grabbed the info and headed off for the find which eventually showed itself after an extensive search. I must be out of practice.

Too many Muggles here today for a detailed search - a cursory search in what I considered the most likely locations yielded no results, so I'll need to come back to this one at a different time of day to have a better look.
OK I am guilty of not logging caches over the last year or two. Due to 2 operations and rehab it has made it difficult to log caches even though I have been mostly chair bound sitting for short times has been difficult as well.
What I have done is create this log in an attempt to bring our found and DNF's up to date so I can resume my normal habit of stories rather than a TNLN - TFTC.
Most of these logs will not include the owners team name so I think it is appropriate to say a Big Thank the cache owners for their caches and some wonderful memories of caching adventures.
Also thanks to Team Crackers who have made our caching trips so much fun and their help in working out what caches we did and when.
Regards
Mr.Coffee and the "I promise I wont let this happen again after all these coffee's er I mean caches are drunk er I mean logged" Coffee Clan.

Revisited today - a couple of muggles about but a quick search found it in not quite the place I expected (there were places that better matched the hint here) TNLNSL TFTC
TFTC, Nice easy Multi; enjoyed seeing this house and the history surrounding it. A few muggles around at Gz but easy to get to with decoy kids at hand. Joint find with Bla16 and Zogdog; maybe a short detour to get it; but hey enjoyed the walk.
We again teamed up with Mr Coffee and most of the clan for another find and feed day.
We have had the answers for this one since 14-06-10 when we were muggled out. This is the first time we have been back to try again and even though it was a great day there were very few muggles about. Mrs Coffee found the cache very quickly while we stood guard looking for muggles. Signed the log and collected the clue.
Thanks skip2992 for the cache and the series.

I grew up about 300 metres from the published location, and went past often on the way to school. Although I knew that there had been a jamboree here, I was unaware of the significance of this house. After grabbing the required answers I headed to GZ for a quick find. Thanks for the historical information and for the cache.
Found the expected hiding place, but not the cache... Muggled or borrowed I'm not sure
The first time we had a go at this one there was a muggle couple their with their child.
So we went off to do another one.
Came back 30 mins later and they were gone so we could find the cache. TFTC skip

Found this one strewn on the ground. I dried out the inside and put everything back in. Log is damp. I put it back where I thought it might have been orignially.
My last cache in the area on a quick visit today. Found the into OK but once I got to GZ - another playground! Fortunately no muggles there when I was, as it took be a few minutes to find the cache in spite of the hint. Just as I was about to replace it a car pulled up and junior muggles arrived! I just had time to replace before beating a hasty retreat.
Once had clues this was a quick find, although a revisit of clues before final location of cache.
We didn't annoy the residents at the house, just grabbed the numbers a fled.
We did the calculations in the car, and drove to GZ.
Nice little park, and a quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

After reading the description we half expected to be seaqrching in someone's yard but as it turned out another little park.
Some stealth again employed and safety in numbers is always good too.
We have all the clues..we think
Now to GZ.

Out for an afternoon's caching with Mr Coffee and the Coffee Clan this was the next on the list. We collected the required information and then headed off to gz where we found a few muggles. We completed a few other caches in the series and then returned to find even more muggles. We waited for about 20 minutes and more just kept arriving. We will have to return to this one
Found @ 2.55pm, #210.
this is the 7th for this series for us.
We stopped at a park for a toilet stop on our way to wp.1 and thought this would be a good place for a cache.
We then went on our way to wp.1, did the sums and what do you know, we ended up back at the very same park,
we had to wait a little while for some muggles to move, then had a quick search in which the cache was found.

Came back today to finish off the multi’s in the series as lately I’ve learnt to loathe doing multi’s but this one worked a treat.
Little bit disappointed to find out the old fella didn’t camp in a tent, still worthy of a three finger solute before moving on to the next one
Thx Skip for restoring my faith in the multi cache

The youngest of the family liked the boat in this playground. It was pretty cool, I have to admit.
After gathering our clues the cache was found while Nano played. Couldn't get him off the swings. I think he is really enjoying this series. Met another parent here (not a cacher) who knew all about the 1st jamboree and was only too happy to share his knowledge of the house where Baden Powell stayed and the ridge where the scouts gathered! I had no problems with the pole here. GZ was great for the geokiddies, dropped off geocoin, SL TFTC
Got the wrong pole at first. Second one had better numbers on it that help to find a easy GZ. TFTC *FTF*
I broke a boomerang near GZ about 35 years ago. Didn't give me any bad luck today, though!

Another *FTF* with Coverthypnosis. TFTC
Cords put me in middle of the road, but I was able to identify the house. Multiple poles to choose from, the most probable being infront of senior muggle attending to her leaves. She proceeded to tell me that the house sits on 2 acres of land, was sold 12 years ago for $250,000., the 4 car garage has a 12 sq servants quarters ontop etc etc. I was being delayed and I knes S & C where not that far ahead. Got numbers from 2 poles but calcs from both didn't help. Decided to go & play footy.
Initial co-ords had me roughly in the middle of two possible sign's, so i took down both number's and cruched the numbers finding one set of co-ords were close by i decided to give it a crack though the clue had to be used for a easier find as co-ords had me a distance from the cache.
Many thanks for the cache skip2992
