As this cache has been out of action for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

lot of changes at GZ, including apparently becoming a dumping zone for the over the back fence technique.. GPs wasn't much help but there wasnt much fitting the description at GZ.. just weeds, weed clippings.. and bare earth?
No sign of cache. Not sure if it still exists. Some new soil in area. Wonder if it's been buried.
Cache was sitting out in the open, logbook very wet as previous logs have indicated. Signed as best I could then realised I had some waterproof paper and so I added a piece to the cache. Replaced cache and tried to cover as best we could. Tftc.
I too found just part of the caching container but the green tape confirmed that that's what it was. - - - So I'll log this as a find even though there was nothing to sign. This cache really does need to either be the recipient of some TLC or to be disabled or archived . Thanks for hiding it here though .
Found this cache on our 4 week trip through New Zealand, during our last stop in Auckland.

A nice quick find in a quiet reserve. Cache has been muggled though, only found bottom half of container (wrapped in green tape) no log inside so signed a leaf and placed back according to hint. TFTC
Nice easy find but cache wasn't hid very well. Re-hid in same location. Nice little reserve.
#305 Geofamily out and about today visiting the Lego convention
just up the road. Geoboy found this while someone was mowing their lawn nearby. Stealthfully retrieved, signed and returned.

A day out collecting caches with Pazzabella, Urbangypsynz Bertie Blowfish and 3 geodogs. We placed a new logsheet and bag as the cache is sodden and needs some serious TLC.
A nice quick find for the end of a big days caching. Container seems waterproof but maybe a cacher hadn't put lid on properly. Old log book needs to go. We just signed a sheet of paper and put in bag. Thanks for the hide.
We headed out to grab two caches but came home with a few more, as always. Nice quick find in a place I have never been. Love the little house bordering the park.
In the area today doing the SOO Series with Pazzabella, Merlot & Urbangypsy. We stopped by here on our way home, for "just one more cache"! So it was our last of the day, and happily a straightforward find. Thanx ftc
Found with my Mum, NewlynFam. Have now created my own account so am logging all finds I was present at and helped with.
Came to this one after finding a nearby night cache. The grown ups had to keep shushing us so the neighbours didn't wonder what was going on!

After a nearby night adventure the group decided to collect some local traditionals along the way home (well with a bit of detouring of course).
Nice quick find here. Signed log as Team Blue Moon and we were off.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
Was out night-caching with a group of likely individuals and this was nearby so we squelched over here by torchlight. I gave Darth Cacher a nudge when I spotted this and he alerted the crew that we'd found it. Was quite exposed even tucked in tight, so tried to add some extra leaf cover. Signed as Team Blue Moon (even though we know that was last night!). Thanks!
After an adventure at a nearby (k)night cache, our group carried on to find a few more caches in the local area.
The reserve was pretty muddy, but we had a bit of a laugh at the fun of it all, and set off towards the cache. Got to GZ and all traipsed into the bush, where the cache was quickly found. Had to keep reminding ourselves to be quiet, as we were concerned that the neighbours would become concerned that there was a party going in in the reserve!
Signed as "Team Blue Moon" (in honour of our moonlit escapades, and last nights' blue moon!) in order to save log space.

Out and about in the area after solving and finding the final of a puzzle nearby. Lots of squelching as the group (there were 8 of us) headed across the park in the dark - more than a little conscious of all the well lit houses surrounding the park, but perhaps still not being really quiet. Signed as team blue moon, although technically that was yesterday, the moon is still full and bright tonight. Found with darthcacher1, purply, newlynfam, keylev, @mcargister
Too easy cache!!! We can see it directly. Thank for the walk in this area! TFTC
So many leaves and branches made it unfindable for two teens. But still had fun. We will try again later
The box was open and content spilled around... Gathered everything i saw but the log is torn and there was slugs inside. Cleaned as much as I could. TFTC
Perfect day for Geocaching!
Go to Mission Bay with my Borders Beyond team.

Decided this was to be the last cache for the evening. GPSR took me to GZ where a short search had the cache in hand. A wander over to the nearby seat to do the paperwork then returned the cache to its spot.
Thanks for the placement.
Thanks for the placement.
Cache was sitting out in the open, disturbed by muggles unknown. Have returned it to what is hopefully the right spot.
GPS took us on a tour of the extremities of this small park before settling, then we went in for a quick find. TFTC
We are on holiday, from England, and are enjoying finding caches as we travel around. This one was the first one of the day, and took a little while to find in its well placed hide.

Second one of day. Second one we have ever done. Not too hard but blends in with nature . Amy (9)
No problems here, apart from a few muggles relaxing nearby. I must be a frightening sight because they disappeared before I emerged from the bushes after signing the log. Nice park. Thanks for bringing me here.
#924; @0715. I went out running to cope with a jet-lag this morning. And I used the occasion to look for a couple of caches en-route. This was the first one. It did not took much time and I could run further. No trade. Greetings from Slovakia. TFTC. Pe.

Decided to take a walk along the waterfront from the CBD to Kelly Tarltons and pick a few caches up along the way. The Auckland Marathon was on so open tmes had been changed so decided to head up the hill to this park, nice park, was muggled by two different four legged friends, TFTC
Cute little log book. We set the resident cockroach free. Lovely cache, thanks.
Found with lid off but laying close by. Log chewed but still dry. Signed log and replaced.
Visiting from Australia and staying nearby before driving down to the Bay of Plenty tomorrow. A nice little park for an evening stroll and spot of geocaching. TFTC.
Thanks for the cache! Nice park. Dropped off a GEO coin.. The nicest one I've ever seen! Travel well little coin!
We found it! Took a shorter time than expected. The box could do with replacing- there was cockroaches in it!
Found with family on a day in Auckland. Number 3 "first to find" of the day for miss 9yr old - doing much better than mum and dad. Took tb. Sl. Tftc.
Asha, Ellie, Harry & Jonny found the small green box with blue lid, took us a while!!
I never knew this reserve was even here, thanks for bringing us here and the cache.
