Um I think I found it. I was looking through the pics for a hint and I ended up finding the remains of the old one that was in a silver tin. Is there another one there bc I saw other pics of a ball. Pls someone text me help.
Nowhere near the coordinates, had to rely on the photos. Cache appears damaged or partly removed?
A few oranges from a nearby tree first and then the hunt began. Quick find and cool camo. Tftc
I was here a couple of years ago but had to walk away without a find. Back today for a 2nd look. As approached GZ there were 2 people walking around looking at their phones. They too were after the cache. One of them found it and the log was signed. Thank you for the placement. Had more luck with this than the Blackcaps did at the T20 world cup.
Glad we found it this time after a couple of DNFs before. What a cool cache! We love it. TFTC
Second time we’ve tried this one. Moved along 20m as suggested by a previous post, but still no joy. Maybe we’ll return sometime…
New container installed and ready to be found. Please bag and cap and return as found thanks
M24: nothing much of a cache here anymore, and considering this cache has been pretty much forgotten by the owner, maybe it should be archived. Oh well...
Where do we start?
As previous cachers have said, the coordinates were out for us by about 20m. The map shows it on the corner but it wasn't, and when you do get to GZ the description makes sense.
As previous cachers have said the container is completely munted. We found two parts of a tin which were both crushed. No sign of a log.
This cache really does need some attention from the CO.

Definitely in need of replacement. Lid and container both very squashed, but in the right place (20m away from coords). CO, I am happy to replace the container if you'd like me to, as I live locally. Just flick me a message. Ngā mihi. TFTC
Found the remains of this cache with trayc.g. We would of replaced it if we had the gear with us. TFTC and RIP
I had a some freedom for the whole week! As this was a rare occasion, Keylev and NZTravellers thought it would be fantastic opportunity to do weekday caching! So this is a start of the week when we all went wild!
NZT was literally hanging onto his for this... TFTC

As luck would have it NZTravellers, B4Dawn and I realised that all our other work and social commitments aligned to give us some free time this week so what better way to put this to use then some afternoon / evening / night caching the WHOLE week!!! This is day 1 so we were all refreshed and raring to go...wonder what we will be like by friday ha ha
After some of the earlier conversations in the group this one had us blushing but anyway back to the search...we went this way and that, up and down. I looked at the old logs and photos so had a better idea of what we were looking for and still couldn't find it. Hmmm where could it be.
Finally MrNZT searched a spot that I had looked at at least twice already and pulled it out! I think my arm was just not long enough to reach it.
Thanks for the cache.

Foundwith H-bomb and PositiveTuna. Nice round candy tin tucked away. Lots of little stars in the cache. Log paper is very wet
Last cache of the day and another nice one. Park was quiet except for some wayward football shooting skills with a couple of lads and their ball retrieving Mum, kind of in-theme for this cache. Checked where it indicated, then widened my search 17 metres away from the GZ and the cache was found. Slightly damp but signable.
With some wild weather in store for the day, and a trip to the city cancelled, it was decided that a chill day would do with some minor errands required and some small groceries to procure. Alas, the repair of the water hose on the washing machine was not as successful as hoped and a trip to both the red shed, and the orange one was required, and neither solved the drip problem. Placed 3 caches whilst I was out and about, will have to wait and see when they make it to the publishers list. Te Atatu provided a few more finds for the total, and that was nice. Thanks to the five different COs.

Out this way today as having dropped off the teenager at Band Camp nearby for the day, and had to return for a concert about 6 hours later ....so what to do, but cache.....
Thanks to the local CO's for cache placements allowing us to explore the area.
Like the previous finders found the co-ords a little out....
TFTC.

Definitely not where the coordinates took is but Sportynz had the right idea and it was found down a bit
Great hiding spot very clever and cute but took a while. Little far from where map shows it to be!
Almost gave up, but thanks to a hint from a friendly colleague, found it pretty easily
Took 3 of us a small hunt to find. But nice hiding spot. Logs quite full. TYFTC
This was a good find!! Great description. Looked at other notes which helped. When found the log inside was a bit full.
Decided to come to te atatu today to try and find the rest of the caches in the area. Our first find of the day.Had the park to ourselves so made a quick find here.Dont see many of this kind of cache.
A nice quick find today. Sporty people were much more interested in their sport than in me.
Up in Auckland visiting family and I have a few spare hours. The Te Atatu North (as it was once called) battlefield beckoned so I headed over to try and make peace, or at least get a few smileys!!
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Another nice quick find on my morning walk. I love the cache container.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
I had the day off today and as I was in the area I decided to see if I could find this cache. Today was a quiet day in the park so I had the place to myself. I was actually about to give up on this one but then it was as if it suddenly appeared in front of my eyes. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in it's spot all ready for the next hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so.
This is geo streak day #1068 in a row for me today. TFTC

Find number 8 for today. Very awesome camo, this one took a little bit of searching. TFTC!
With part of Team BOP - (Mr) Davidson clan, McJandals, and NZFlossy... All logs were signed RoT - Rotorua or Tauranga. We have been planning this mini raid of Auckland for a short time. We have discovered that we need a small push to kick onto our next milestone. Hopefully, this weekend's haul of caches will bring us a little closer...
We decided to focus much of our attention on Te Atatu this weekend. The sheer number of caches, the walkability factor, and the rumor of some high quality caches sounded appealing... We also agreed to stay together on the trail rather than split up - This proved to be a good idea considering the reputation and hiding prowess of the COs in this area. Four pairs of eyes didn't miss much...
By the time we arrived at this ground zone, it was dark. We felt our way along the boundary fence and checked several spots before getting a hand on it. Thanks ishoot and TFTC.

On an Auckland adventure with three other BOP cachers. An early start with lots of fun and a night in the big smoke. I don’t venture up here very often but we were on a mission. Thanks to the COs for some great caches Signed as Team ROTTFTC
On a road trip with part of Team BOP which includes myself, NZ Flossy, Squirrel Nutcase and Davidson Clan. To save room we have signed ROT and I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing us here. Cheers
Oh BALLS. We had to circumnavigate this park a couple of times to avoid other muggles doing the same thing. We got there in the end. tftc . replaced full log.
Clever hide. Was definitely not where I had thought it would be, but luckily spotted it after looking in what I thought were the obvious places. Thanks!
