If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
I have the attention span of a gnat and even with Mrs GUIO we just couldn't find it.
Just too hard for us today.

Good find, found it in the dark using phone for light. Left a wedding reception to find it, mrs not happy I left for 20mins, but all will be good lol. Thanks heaps
Steve from the helicopter joint came out to say hello and point us in the right direction. Nice friendly chap. Found the cache after a bit of a search. The clue is a bit cryptic but made sense after finding the cache. TFTC.
TFTC . thanks for hiding this cache here as i got to watch the helicopter take off.[:p]
lovely cool day, police boat, look like star "water rats" on tv series... anyway little searched, find one as hide very well... thanks
Arrived at GZ and then departed for an hour so that everyone could finish their lunch, returned for a quick find when the coast was clear. TFTC.
Nearly gave up on this one, though perseverance paid off. You know its there so keep looking.
Took a little while to find. Mo muffles as it was raining. Good hide. SL TN LN TFTC.
Our 5229th overall find.
Found this one as part of our yearly goal of finding a cache on every single day. We had the area to ourselves today and made a simple find.
Thanks to PD186 for the cache.

Everything is good about this cache except for the 2 businesses watching GZ and the possibility of being landed upon. Luckily today was cold and windy, so no joyflights. We found it after trying a few options, well hidden. Took and left nothing, but thanks for the hide.
Interesting spot with a lot to see. Came with our
bicycles from Stockton where we stayed at the
caravan park. Good bikeriding around Newcastle.

What an interesting spot. I pulled up about 10m from GZ (luckily I didn't drive over to it as I nearly did). I hopped out of the car and saw a helicopter coming down the river. Cool.
I got my camera out and started shooting some vid.
Crap!
Some lady came over to me and said you'd better move as the helicopter was landing where I was standing (3m from GZ).
I moved.
The copter landed and a couple of love birds who'd just been on a joy flight alighted. They kissed when they hit the ground. I stopped recording at that point.
The blades were still whizzing around making the cache impossible to get to (that lady would not have liked me if I tried).
So I waited and off it went again after a few minutes with another two customers.
10minutes $170. 15mins $190. 30 mins (up to Nelson Bay) $350.
I shot some more, this time some stills for this cache page.
The things you see while caching. [^]
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
PS, the lady came over to me after and said did I find it? She knows about the cache [^]

Got there and started looking the police turned up we walked slowly back to car and waited. Police went inside and we had cache in hand tyfc. Go team stevens
Reperio at 1255. Arrived at GZ with Darwinian, and just got to GZ when I heard the faint sound of a helicopter. Looked up and soon realised it was coming into land nearby, so retreated to the car to search for another cache to go to, when the helicopter landed and the muggles aboard simply went inside. With the coast clear, walked back to GZ and took a look around, and it wasn't long before we had the cache.

We arrived at GZ and were scratching around, then had to move quickly when a helicopter wanted to come in for a landing..heading back for another look we found it quickly the chopper must have moved some of the items blocking the view of the cache...

Found this right on the exact co-ords. Was a bit uncomfortable with the local constabulary so close, but I remained out of handcuffs for the remainder of the day, so all was good.

Took some looking, but read the other logs which helped - many muggles around, be careful!
Caching run with fitzy_1965.
We decided it probably wasn't under the water and after a quick look around we had the cache in hand.
Bit close to the 'rats' for my liking!

Found at 2.20pm GAFF1. As we approached GZ we were desperately hoping that there was not going to be any of the NSW police around as we just know how difficult it is to find caches amongst rocks and look inconspicuous. Thankfully there was absolutely no one around, so we walked along the rocks immediately discounting the spot at the given GZ and walking 13 metres further down to spot which was very likely to be the hiding spot - which was exactly where the cache was hidden.
Will post corrected co-ords which hopefully may be closer to the cache.
Thanks PD186.

With the sun shining today we decided to head out caching. When we got here there were no muggles around but our GPS was trying to tell us the cache was about 5m out in the water!?! We figured that wasn't correct so we starting looking in some of the more obvious hiding places. The next thing we knew a helicopter pilot came out of his building and was calling out to us. Turns out he was wanting us to move as he wanted to take off in his helicopter and didn't want us to get blown away. WHile talking tohim he asked us if we were "looking for a container" as he had seen someone finding one a few days earlier. When we told him what we were doing, he told us approximately where he remembered the others finding, so it didn't take us too long after that to locate the cache [we had time as the helicopter passangers decided they needed to go to the toilet before they took off!] TNLNSL TFTC
Found by Team Rocket members M-Dogg, Mik-el and Lolz. Sneaky little cache, lucky there weren't any muggles around:)

We found Newcastle Water Rats (GC29ZY9) on a Very Windy Bank Holiday Monday with Ruffas and Wandering Wilkos, our 10th of 46 finds and our 1302nd overall find. This was made easier by the skills of RAG 4x4 and ended up a quick find that could have taken a lot longer... The H I wasa good indicator. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache, PD186. Deputy D0g.

Quick find today, description led us to the right spot and we were soon on our way Thanks for bringing us here great location!
08:20, 11 of 48 attempted on our Bank Holiday Newscatle Cachefest. Geez it was getting cold in shorts, The wind had really whipped up and I didn't fancy a long search. Thankfully Rags nailed this one in seconds so after a quick log it was back in the Geomobile and on our way. The other coords are on the money

Was a bit worried about the helicopter pad and water cops so will try again at night
It is our first anniversary of our first find so we headed out to have a shot at a few of the nearby caches we had left untouched for such an occasion.
There was nobody around as we arrived at GZ. It took a few minutes to locate the right spot. TNLNSL TFTC PD186. [624]
Took a while to locate as GPS was pointing 10 metres into the water. Looked at past logs & used Winglen's co-ordinates. Located it straight away. Nice night time find. TFTC.
Called in today with the kids. There was a chopper on one of the pads and the tail rotor almost hung over the cache. I can see why the helipad operator might be concerned with someone hanging around the back of the chopper. I searched for a while before realising the posted co-ords are wrong. Looked back a couple of logs to find Winglens co-ords and used them to find the cache. Thanks for the cache PD. I have sat here many times enjoying my lunch in the car. Always a nice spot with plenty of activity.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Not sure if the spot is taht good for a cache, only just started to serach for it when I was approached from the Helipad operator asking what I was doing ... Luckily I had a camera with me and he bought the story of me wanting to take some harbour shots...
Had some time to waste to day so droped in to do a spot of caching.
With a little look at the hint and some rock hopping the cache was found.
My GPS had me 12 metre's from GZ.
No water rats around today.

Driving home in the dark and saw this on the GPS not far off, so turned to give it a look. Was about to call it off when I was standing on top of the rocks (and I hate rock wall hides at the best of times) and the GPS was pointing 10m out into the water. Looked at the clue, shone the torch and there was the suspicious spot and the cache right in front of me. My Oregon450 makes the coords to be S32 55.058 E151 45.699. Thanks PD186.
Arrived early so I wouldn't be under the eyes of the boys in blue. Needn't have bothered. It was too cold for any other idiot to be out!
Groped and slid around the rocks for a while, then read the clue, stood back and looked, and cache was soon in hand.
A bit further than the listed coords.

I was in the vicinity, and even though I didn't have my GPSr, I thought I'd have another search for this cache.
The first place I looked there it was. I can't believe we didn't find it yesterday.

Was in the Newcastle area when I got an SMS with some co-ords and basic info about a new cache. Knowing that the cachers up this way are usually quick off the make I headed in the general direction of this one but still picking up the ones on my list.
With the GPS saying it was in the water some more likely spots were investigated and the hide was discovered after a shortish time.
On opening the log It was found just 40 min earlier by gd___.

After getting home from a day of caching down at Gosford and doing what I needed to come home for i saw this new cache and had just enough time to duck out and get it. When the GPS was telling me to go for a swim i decided to go for the hint instead and soon spotted GZ and had the cache and *FTF* in hand.
I got S32 55.057 E151 45.696 co-ords with 3M accuracy on my GPS.
Thanks.
