Well we certainly earned the terrain rating on thus one. Currently camping at coronation we d r sided to walk to the g e cache. In hindsight letting the tyres down and driving might have been more sensible. When we arrived at the creek it had decent flow after the recent rains so wet feet became part of the adventure. Then we made the mistake of getting too keen and scaled unnecessary heights! Only to check the gps and go duh! Down we went, then we scambled around trying to find the cache. We found the remnants of the original but couldn't locate Mr Skippy's replacement cache. We had come prepared eith a more substantial container to replace Mr Skippy's food container but didn't bring logbook or bag as we had expected to find the replacement, which we guess may have blown away. A bit of creative thinking had us signing an old But clean handkerchief and putting it in with pen. We have sited the cache 1 m lower than the remnants, protected by a bush and rocks on top of it. Then joy of all joys we got to reverse the process of wet feet and a oft sand hiking to complete our smiley adventure. The views are great and we loved being able to pay homage to Darren's spirit. Thanks for the challenge.
Staying at Coronation Beach for 4 days I had a look for geocaches in the area. Saw this one needed some TLC so armed with a new container (only had a take away container sorry) pen and paper we had a bumpy drive down the track. At the bottom of the steep embankment/ cliff Mr Skippy said it looked too rocky to climb with no shoes on so we came back the next day, better prepared. Mr Skippy had to climb solo as my back was killing me. He had a good look around but couldnt locate any mess left by the original cache. I would say it had blown away with all the wind and rain over the last couple of months. Armed with the replacement Mr Skippy left the cache at GZ. R.I.P Dazza. You have the perfect view.
Hi there Tiamungie. While out on the road today we found this cache at 1124am after a short search . TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Tiamungie for this cache - our find 10891 and the 2nd of 11 finds for the day.FieldNotes: The container needs Maintenance. It was found in pieces (looks like muggles) and when I tried to put it together but it fell to pieces from weathering. The biro was still there but in pieces - so also needs to be replaced.
Well it’s finally holiday time! I C Nothing is hitting the road for some R&R grabbing a few finds on our travels. Looking forward to seeing some sunshine and having quality beach time. Glad to see a few caches as we tour around exploring. Today after setting camp at Northampton we made this cache our goal. Didn’t take much for the muggle husband to be convinced to come with me. We our way out on a nice track admiring the view then at gz we made short work of the climb to find our prize. We were rewarded with a great view and sunset. Thanks for placing in Dazza memory and sharing such a wonderful location
We found your cache safe and in good condition.
Thanks for placing for our enjoyment.

A great spot. Drove up from to the south to the river when it got soft and the water was coming down the creek from the recent rain and about to spill out into the ocean. Plenty of sheep around.
A quick find of the container and it looks like some one has replaced it as NO MAINTEANCE IS REQUIRED.
We completed the signing duties and re hid. No issue with the drive in the Prado

Another day in Geraldton and we cleaned up a bunch of 4x4 caches north of Drummond Cove and then ventured south towards Greenough. We missed a few caches due to heavy rains and some fast flowing water.
Thanks for the cache.

Caching in the Greater Geraldton area today. Our intention for the day was to attack some power trails and do map cleanup around town.
Cheers Tiamungie!
Cheers Tiamungie!
We did the 2.5km easy walk from the campsite. We replaced the container with like for like as lid was broken and log wet, so put in a new small log book too. Please cover it well from the sun and rain.
We tried from the top but thought cliff was too rugged, so got to it from the bottom, only to realise we had scrambled almost all the way back up to the top. We found it would have been easier just to get it from the top if we had just gone a bit further along the ridge. Cheers Dazza.

We are staying at the campsite so decided to walk to 2:5km to the cache. A lovely walk, which along the way we came across an unofficial grave site. We would have missed this had we drove. Arrived at the site and despite our best efforts we could not find the cache. Left feeling very disappointed . Determined not to let this beat us, we drove back to the site, with fresh legs we scoured up the hill. Yet again we could not locate the cache, but we searched high and low and eventually found it. We were looking up when we should have been looking down. The container has damage probably just brittle from the elements. We clambered back down, sat on the beach and had a beer Cheers Dazza and TFTC!!!!

On our way home from the Murchison so we cached out another area, happy to say we came up trumps and drove away with a smilie TFTC
Lovely day for the beach, fishing, swimming, Pups first time for all and.... a geocache or two, unfortunately after making it up the track with Miss Geopup, we took a step down and down we slid whoops. Will have to reattempt this one another day soon, We love this area
Pa earned more Brownie Points today by driving me to within 200 m of this cache. What a wonderful story of courage. I have great respect for the way some people live their lives under such terrible odds. Will award a favourite in honour of Dazza and have left a Relay for Life trackable in honour of my beautiful daughter.
Walked from Coronation campground to find this cache which is still in good condition. Great view thanks for placing the cache. On our travels around Australia doing a few caches on the way.
So we were thrilled to not have let the tyres down. Then saw The Hill. Omg kids had aball as so did the dogs. Us biggens were a bit tired still having 30metetd to walk once we reached the top. Only to find we went too high. Then realized we forgot the pen.Eventually found the gz. My what a beautiful view. So worth the trip. Tftf.
Had a great camping trip out this way over the break. Thanks for the viewpoint. It is a great tribute to the memory of your friend.
The box is cracked and has a hole in it, it needs to be replaced.
The logbook is in a zipbag and we packed the other contains also in a zipback.
We also put a plastic bag partly over the box to avoid water getting in temporarely.

The logbook contained the last find april 2012, nearly a year ago.
We walked up to this cache from the Coronation Beach campside, nearly 3km.
And indeed very nice views from up here.

What a great day. Dazza's cache was the drawcard to get the family there. Three four wheel drives made the trip along the dune track without any problems although the cars got a bit muddy when we got to the river mouth. From a 4 year old to a 67 year old, we all made the climb and found the cache without any problem. SL and took a poncho & hand cleaner, left a pr earings, pirate eyepatch and a golf ball. Replaced the zip lock bag but did not have a new container with me. The current lid is cracked. After that we went back to the camping area and stoked up two BBQ's, settled in and star gazed. A great evening followed including a toast to Dazza before driving back to Gero about 9pm. TFTH Tiamungie
really nice place with an amazing view. Only the story of the cache is very sad...

We decided to give our new Landcruiser a bit of a test on the beach so took a Sunday morning drive up to find the cache. We have been in this area many times over the years, usually four wheel driving with our Jeep but wasnt so keen to do the side tracks with the Landcruiser with so much African Box about, (at least let the paint stay fresh for one month!)
We parked within 60 metres and climbed the rugged hill to the GZ - we took in the same beautiful view that Dazza must have sat and enjoyed and shared the memory of him.
thanks for bringing us to his special place. May he rest in peace.

Had a nice long walk along the beach watched the pods of dolphins playing in the surf.

Great Spot for a Geocache. Nice view. A good place to remember someone special.
