Sadly the container was gone and we managed to find a few bits and bobs scattered on the ground. Have placed what we could find in a plastic bag and hid them in the V of the nearest tree covered by a few sticks.
There has been a bit of recent work here - topping trees down and the area was cordoned off.

Path still blocked but its no big deal to climb over the barrier to grab cache. owner might want to think about shifting cache's location [8]
Hi Guys
I've been advised by one of your caches neighbours that the council is going to be removing all the big trees along the walkway very shortly. I suggest that you relocate this cache before it gets destroyed/lost when its home is removed.
Cheers

No problems with this one. As noted in other logs avoided / ignored the fence and made for GZ. Not sure where the 'other side' they want you to walk on would actually be?? Somewhere very muddy I think. TFTC, Biggles.
Thought we were going for third dnf in a row but broadened the search closer to the orange step over fence and had a log to sign. NINO TFTC
Like the previous cacher I too had to jump (or actually step) over the orange fence.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
our very first cache as a couple! bit of a mission navigating the now sunken footpath in the rain! TFTC
Climbed over the obviously semi-recently erected orange "keep out" barrier to easily find the cache safe. Bonus was I didn't fall down the hill into the mangroves
Together with womi I simply had to visit a Scout base. Nice cache, although we shouldn't have crossed the fence... Work's not finished yet there! TFTC, v.c.
A scout-cache at last! I'm also owner of a scout-cache and I really enjoyed that one. Unfortunately I haven't met NZ-Scouts during our stay!
Thanks for bringing me here

Hurdled the orange plastic "keep out" barrier and snapped the orange container. Very quick find. No workmen around. TFTC.
This was really a quick one.
Some work is still being processed on site, at least there is a temporarily "men at work" barrier just before GZ. The container is safe, so far.
TFTC!

NZ11. Apart from the track being closed right at GZ this was quick simple find. Thanks.

Headed south with the Future Finder today for a family visit. Stopped off on the way to collect a few caches. I used to live in Papakura and regularly went for runs around this trail. Of course, the track is a super highway today--it was a dirt rootbound affair slowly falling into the mangroves in my day. Anyway, an easy find today as the cache was a little exposed. An orange Tupperware container! I haven't seen one of these in years. Returned the cache with it's camo. Cheers for the cache!
found without falling into the tide. last cache for the dayas it is getting late and still have to get home , This was # 19 for the day on a trip from Tauranga . took a bit of time out from driving . TFTC
A massive branch had recently fallen off a nearby gumtree blocking my path to the cache.
Even so it didn't take long to find and log this one. Left signature eraser and TB. TFTC.

A very quick find after parking nearby. I'm involved with Rovers in Australia so it was good to see a scouting hide. TFTC!
Found quickly in the rain. Spotting the carpark entrance was a little more difficult. Two caching U turns were required.
Nice easy find as the path was nice and quiet this afternoon

ps. Log is starting to look a little mouldy... Everything seemed nice and dry tho... Maybe a silica gel pack might help?

Thanks for the cache found this efficiently and quickly with forest fairies.
Pretty busy in the parking lot, quiet at gz
Cache lid is degrading quickly, and should be replaced. Logbook is slightly damp, but still writable.

Easy find. Im not sure why the scout hall had a couple of windows open and the doors locked. Looked like a good invite for a burglar or local vandals/taggers. Thanks.
I was the designated baby sitter last night and my wife had just left when this one was published. Woke up early and noticed still no logs. Headed out and made a quick find. Glad I have a new bright head torch as GZ near a steep drop. Found at 6:27am. TFTC and

Saw this one last night and decided to visit this morning on the way to the airport with some export flowers as its only a bit of a detour - Whenuapai to Mangere via Papakura. Arrived at dawn but still only managed 3rd to find. Thanks for the cache. Seems lots of Venturer groups are getting into caching. Good to see the interest.

Early start this morning and made a detour to the new cache on our way south. Quick find but unfortunately beaten to the FTF by 20 minutes. Have the same container as the cache, packed in the chillybin T4TC.
