Out on a run from Ballarat and this was my next stop. Soon had the GZ sorted and then it was a walk to GZ. Cache was found without issue and the logbook soon signed. Thanks for showing me another country cemetery lennyboy...this one is certainly well maintained. Cache all good.
Mrs Riddell was here 7 days ago and noted the information and took photos as well. She converted the figures last night in our cabin in the Dunkeld Caravan Park before returning home today. We had a tortuous route to the cemetery as we were detoured ( told to use Google maps) as there was a severe accident requiring the air ambulance just over the bridge in Streatham, blocking traffic to Skipton. We have just taken about 20 km in a detour to get to the Cemetery over the only other available bridge through farms and on dirt roads. We are hoping we can get through by the time we approach the Glenelg Highway. The cache was not an issue!TFTC
What a fantastic week of (late) autumn weather it has been in Adelaide! And with even more on the way, I thought Id take the opportunity to go away for a few days of caching, camping and sightseeing on my own. From Adelaide I headed down to the Coonawarra, then across to the Southern Grampians area then east as far as Colac, before making my way back home. I took a winding route, collecting caches of interest along the way. I managed to find a range of caches types, including Traditional, Unknown, Multi, Letterbox Hybrid, Virtual and Earthcaches as well as a few Adventure Labs. All but a couple were found without any trouble. Most were good order unless otherwise noted.Fortunately the weather held out pretty well for most of the time. However, it rained steadily for hours when I was in Colac one night, but I guess you have to expect that in Victoria! The required information was collected and final coordinates determined, than it was off to GZ for a quick find. Thanks lennyboy for the cache.
I found this geocache during a recent trip, however, for sme reason my log didn't automatically upload from my GPS as it is programmed to.Thanks for your cache hide and the effort that you put into maintaining it,
Calculated the coordinates and went to GZ and made a quick find!! Watch out for the bull ants at the graves!! TFTC!!
Well after a whirl wind tour of Tasmania to help with 3 challenges that Im working on, I got back in last night packed the car and headed off to SA this morning to attend the Leap Year Mega and to also tick off some LGAs along the way as well.Heading towards Millicent today as I missed the Mega due to the Rona that was going around so it was about time I made a visit there.Im not sure if I have ever travelled on the Glenelg Hwy before and it was a nice drive.I enjoy a walk around a country cemetery as you sometimes get a bit of a feel for the place. Thanks lennyboy TFTMC.
Catching up on a few found logs during a recent trip to Naracoorte for a family reunionMany thanx for the cache
Travel on the way to home Melbourne and detour some area with Everlasting and Found the cache and logged the log with Everlasting lennyboy, Thank you so much for placing it.
Accompanied with crank1, we enjoyed the trip and detour find it and sign the log. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
Found it with hevwalker on our way home from a great longweekend in Ballarat getting the final GeoTour caches and my #5000 find. Also did 10 different cache types in a day, such a satisfying weekend of caching with great caches to find. Thanks for contributing my caching adventures this weekend. TFTC. What a serene resting place for your relatives and the community that are here.
scramping & I made our way to Ballarat for the long weekend on a mission to complete the GeoTour, which we accomplished. Today was home time, we collected a few caches along the way.
The co-ordinates for the cache were quickly calculated, but the cache proved a little more challenging to get to, but got there in the end. So much pollen too. My faced itched for quite a while after.

Cache found and log signed with dalerious .
This was the first cache we targeted on our huge adventure away.
We were looking to find a cache in the 5 LGA's left for us to tick off, and as we are always needing Multicaches this one fit the bill perfectly .
All the information was obtained easily and the cache was found in good condition.
Thank you lennyboy for this cache.
The long weekend in Victoria had us planning a trip to Mount Kosciuszko, but there was no available accommodation in Jindabyne, so that plan was thwarted. Our South Australia and Western Victoria trip was then brought forward very quickly, and a plan was hatched that had a complete and varied list of things we were looking to achieve. It was tentative, as the list kept growing exponentially as it tends to do with us .
The map that we created with the caches we were hunting was broad, and a lot of miles were travelled to find them, but we are definitely not complaining.
The country we drove through was spectacular .
We left Tatura early Friday morning, not sure how much we could achieve before heading to Millicent to our booked accommodation, and then onto Adelaide after that.
We still can't believe that we found almost every cache on that extensive list. We even got to attend a CITO in Adelaide. How cool was that.
We had an awesome 4 days away enjoying this beautiful country of ours.

Home again, Home again Jiggity Jig.
Now comes the big job of logging all our accomplishments.
Our extra long weekend adventure revolved around catnap777 and I making it to a CITO in Adelaide, caching our way there and back through as many counties new to us as possible. We also targeted challenge caches and anything that would help us qualify for them.
Leaving Tatura early Friday morning, we followed the coast up from Warnambool to stay in Millicent that night, Adelaide on Saturday, and back through the guts to Edenhope Sunday night to be back home for rostered work 3:00pm on Monday.
All up we picked up over 100 very targeted caches including this, our very first cache on our SA holiday, and our first in Ararat County. [^]
Thanks lenyboy for this "relatively" simple multi found and returned in good condition.

Found It..............While in the district working and with the Geo Wife in tow we decided to grab some caches on the way home. After parking the work truck we set off to collect the required info. After getting the numbers and doing the calculations we realized something was wrong and it soon became apperant that MrH_3 cant follow instructions and read the correct headstone Hahaha but soon after had the right set of numbers. A short stroll later and the cache was in hand. So with the cache signed and replaced we continued our journey. Thanks lennyboy for the cache
Found while exploring the area and enjoying some time with family, we made our way here, there is such interesting history in places like this, After gathering the required information, soon the log was soon in hand, signed and replaced as found TFTC and the fun
Heading to Portland for a few days, can't drive past a cemetery cache. Thank you so much for bringing me here and placing this cache here
*Found on the 26 Nov 2022 @ 10:10 am.*
*Cache find # 13668.*
This weekend I was heading to the Little Dessert for a couple of celebrations events but on the way, I had a slight detour through a few LGA's that I was needing a few more finds for a certain Whittlesea challenge cache.
This was the second LGA that I visited today, I just skimmed the bottom of it and found this one before moving to the next.
Another cemetery cache added to the list of many, no problems at all gathering the information and cache this cache.
**Thanks to lennyboy for placing this cache.**

On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, poor old George was having trouble with jumping jack but after a nice quick calculation and the cache was in hand, thanks for placing it.
Found by Rebel Acts.
with it being School holidays in Victoria I had some time spare to head to Millicent where I teamed up with the Empire for a few days caching in the area, we had a fantastic time exploring the area.
This is one of the caches found on route to SA. I always love the history that can be learnt in cemeteries, I love the conifers that were around the perimiter of this cemetery.
Thanks lennyboy for the cache.

Working 3 days a week for the first 2 weeks in 2022 is already too much. As such, the 3 of us are heading down to Warrnambool for a weekend get away.
I had planned our route towards Warrnambool to collect a few new LGAs while on the way. I needed a cache in the Ararat LGA, but didn't want to go all the way to Ararat. But with some research I learnt that the Eurambeen - Streatham Road was the boundary. Even better this Streatham. Cemetery was on the Ararat side. As such, we stopped here for a leg break and to work thru this multicache.
The cache was quickly found at 2.30 pm after working out the best way into the tree area.
Thanks for the cache Lenny Boy

Catching up on some seriously late logs. Sorry about that. Found without any problems although we did have to pick our timing as there was a guy mowing the lawns. Thanks for the cache.
Found with Papi4506 whilst we were in the area. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Thanks for bringing us to this nice little cemetery, and a nice little multi. TFTC
Nice tidy multi on the was from Warrnambool to Bendigo…then our home of Wangaratta. TFTC. Easy to solve and easy to find. RIP to your family.
The first point was easy to find and puzzle was easily solved. Beware of the ants at the graves though! It was a bit tricky with the poor phone reception to really get a fix on the new coords, but cache was found in the fairly obvious spot. A beautiful tranquil place.
Always interested in a cemetery multi, we came to honour your relatives today. It has been snowing and raining, and our feet - not just our shoes - got drenched. Wet feet carried us all day, but we did find what we came to find here. Thanks for hiding it!
It was a cold and damp morning here at the cemetery but I was here to do your little multi so that mattered not.
Easy to retrieve information from the graves and soon enough I signed your logbook. A nice stopover. Thanks lennyboy.

I enjoy cemetery caches as there is always something of interest or sadness to be discovered As usual my route is never the most direct as I wander from cache to cache but makes my travels just that much more interesting. TFTC lennyboy
This was our first multi!
Would have been a nice easy one if it wasn't for the angry ants all over and around the graves!! TFTC

Grabbed along our travels in this great country. I reckon the bull ants and fly’s should rate an difficulty & terrain point. TFTC lennyboy.
Withstood a massive bullant attack to obtain the information and the locate the GZ. An interesting spot, thanks for bring us here.

Spooky caching in a cemetery at midnight!
The birds were singing songs at this late hour and I very much enjoyed listening to their joyful sounds.
Thanks lennyboy

The ants here are rather vicious but I quickly collected the numbers and headed off to GZ. Nice little cemetery although it could do with a mow.

Pulled in off the main road and thought I would attempt this multi, with a rather large ants nest at one of the graves a bit of giessnwork went on, off I went to go where I made a quick find and the cache is all good.
A great day out today, I headed from Ballarat to Mt gambier by some funky route, well any normal geocaching route really. With 4 events lined up with one being a CITO, they made cursor for when I needed to be at certain locations otherwise it was free roam. Overall a good day out with nearly 500km driven and almost 50 caches found

While staying at the Caravan Park in beautiful Dunkeld we decided to head East towards some of the little settlements and hopefully find a few caches on the way.
It’s not very often that we do a dance while finding the answers for a multi but here we couldn’t keep our feet still for more than a second because of the massive bullants nest nearby
The coords were quickly worked out and the cache was a nice close find
Many thanks for this nice little multi lennyboy

After having the cache closest to my caching centroid I had started on my way back to Ballarat to attend the GIFF event. As any self-respecting cacher would do if they had time, I cached along the way. One of the caches I picked up was this cemetery multi. I must say that I picked up the wrong age for George the first time around as I was cognisant of the multitude of ants swarming around the area. Indeed there were so many that if you stood still for any length of time within 10 metres of the graves you'd find they would begin crawling up you.
So after correcting my mistake the correct GZ was arrived at the cache found shortly thereafter. For future finders, if you've calculated a GZ over the fence line, turn back and find the correct grave. The neighbouring farmer/those tending to the cemeter have obviously put up a new boundary fence after a number of cachers have wandered over into the farmer's land.

Found on a three day caching wander with AussieM&M!!!! We centred our searches in the Ararat area but ventured further afield when some of our planned caches were either disabled or on very slushy dirt roads. Very cold and plenty of rain ….. although we seemed to dodge the worse of it!!! Great multi!!! A favourite for bringing us here!!
This was a multi we just had to do while in the area as Mary's last name is Davis. Unfortunately, Mary is fairly sure that these past relatives are not related to Aussie Mark (her husband).
Oh well, we made the find anyway and obviously visited 'The Relatives'.
TFTC lennyboy.

Today was a huge day leaving home at 6:30 am and not getting back home until 2:30am the following morning. After we had finished a walk to Boronia Peak we were looking some lighter caches to let our bodies recover.
Leaving the Grampians with the aim of being in Colac at midnight our path took us close enough to make the detour.
A quick calculation and we were of to GZ once there we thought we may have done something wrong as we could see any signs of disturbance but all was good the cache was just where the numbers lead us.
Thank you lennyboy for the Multi

With a 600km 20hr caching day, Simsfamily and Neville Devil and I made an early start.
The weather all day was intermittent showers, fog and blue sky's but it didn't dampen our enthusiasm.
Always some interest history as you walk around. The bull ants were sensible and staying home out of the cold.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache lennyboy

On our way for an overnight stay in Halls Gap, we thought we would break the trip up with a few geocaches on the way. An interesting little multi in a quite, out of the way cemetery. Disturbed a few sheep with my retrieval !! TFTC lennyboy
Staying nearby we visited this location with friends. The younger of which quickly found Georges protective ant nest. After a manic swatting session to rid the panicked child of the infestation we quickly went to gz to find the well stocked cache. Tftc
Found. Watch out for the large ant nest next to George. Worth looking at the rest of the headstones if you enjoy local history.
Stood on an ant nest and literally got ants in my pants Thanks lennyboy for the cache!
Mr Morris drove the third year geology student over to Mortlake to find some olivine.
She's not very tolerant of caching but he manage to slip a couple in. They had some fun so thanks for showing us the area.

After the excitement of a FTF in Ararat we headed south east back towards Ballarat the long way picking up a few caches as we went in the company of Wozzle68. With the numbers sorted quickly we headed to the cache where we then signed our team names on the log as we tried to avoid the bull ants.
Thanks lennyboy for the multi in this old hidden away cemetery.

Always good to visit an out of the way cemetery and this one is very out of the way thanks. a huge bull ant nest at the posted coords had us dancing around
This was another of those caches that I drive past...... But today I had the time to stop. There were many many ants guarding these graves and I had to do one of those special dances to get them all off. Of course I did have my best geocaching thongs on.
Thanks
Thanks
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

Enjoying a caching day out with Micaparamedic, we made it down to Streatham for lunch. Found this nice little multi after filling our bellies with food from the local store. After paying our respects to your relatives, the calculations and the cache find were easy. The ants were not, and caused us all to do the ant-dance. Nevertheless, we all escaped without getting bitten. TFTC lennyboy.
Finally a break in the rain and a chance to cache and see what has been happening with all that water. Although around here was high and dry we were unable to find a cache. Got attacked by killer ants and searched high and low but came home empty handed.
I love multis! I love the history of old cemeteries! I love multis in old cemeteries!! Thanks for the straight forward multi here. We noticed lots of cow prints around the graves so I was hoping a massive big horned bull wasn't going to be guarding the cache. Luck was on our side as no bovine appeared!! Phew!! Tftc
A nice cemetery. The grass was very dry and there were bull ants everywhere. We got the info and found the cache. Thanks lennyboy, found today with McLookers and littlevealies.
It was bullant city around GZ today. We gathered the information from a safe distance and made our way to GZ to make the find. Thanks for bringing us here lennyboy.
Found after a quick detour whilst on our way to Maryborough, we soon had the co-ord's worked out and then after a short stroll we had the cache in hand. Thanks lennyboy for the cache and for showing us a little bit of this interesting cemetery.
A quick stop off on the way to Harrow-Balmoral to grab a multi for our trip. A very interesting little cemetry with alot of ants! Coords were found quickly and the cache was in hand after a quick walk.
A very well set out cache lennyboy and TFTC

Parked and Mrs.K. was off with the camera taking photos of headstones with names of families may be in our line. I went to the GZ and collected the information needed, did the sums then moved on to the final calculated CoOrds and located the cache .
Nice easy puzzle !
Signed logbook 10am and replaced all as found.
2 x TB Visit.

Our final cache for the day and boy did we struggle with the muggle ants! They were ferocious in their defence of the numerical information. Eventually we sorted out some co'ords and it was off to GZ and added our name to the log. Found as we travelled homeward: Naracoorte SA to St Leonards Vic multiple breaks and lots of smilies in 12 hours.
Our thanks and congratulations to lennyboy for outstanding cache presentation and maintenance -

I decided to make a run south of Ararat and hoping to get back in time for the Afternoon party with Baz event.
In the light drizzle of the late morning rain I ended up in a cemetery.
I thought this was going to be a quick grab but I decided to take it safe and leave the ute parked on the gravel road and leg it to Way Point 1.
this took a little longer than expected as moss has grown over the date of George's stone and made it a little hard to read. So I decided to resort to looking for geo trails. into possible areas and woo hoo. I got one and it lead right to the cache. I think it was a hard way to find the cache but nether the less I got there.

Cool spot, great cache
George's age was almost impossible to see today, but I worked it out with only 1 half the final. Not too difficult

Wow! What an easy cemetery to miss! I drive past here quite often and would have never known there was a cemetery here. A beautiful spot and worth the stop. Made the mental maths slightly wrong and after searching the wrong trees for a while I swallowed my pride and double checked the maths. With the correct coords it was an easy find. Thank you lennyboy
Been to this area many years ago, today was for a good reason. Worked out the puzzle OK and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks.
Out for an afternoon of exploring with sulkybear and our 2 geokids (aged 3 & 5). A nice easy multi and a quick find but there was an ants nest at WP1 so we had to be careful. Kids made some swaps. Kids also picked flowers to add to graves which was very sweet. Thanks for the cache and for bringing us here
Made an exception by backtracking, then took the wrong road before backtracking again to pick up the correct access road. Had to make sure the ants didn't get all over us at the graves. TFTC lennyboy
On the way from Ballarat to Dunkeld we stopped for a few caches. It started off with a failure but fortunately got better and the average improved.

Australia Day! A great time to catch up with the family, do a spot of camping and of course find a few caches. We were off to Lake Bolac to spend an extra long weekend of fishing, telling a few stories and a round of golf.
Of course, the fishing and golf provided great fodder for the story telling, the fish that got away or the golf shot that was almost a hole-in-one so a self-perpetuating vicious cycle was created.
However, caches weren’t too far from my mind. While the snores were emanating from the tents in the early morning, I took advantage to zip off and grab a few caches.
Early morning, honestly, is there any better time to go caching? I love early mornings.
Another of those country cemeteries which fascinate me so much. It's the little things that intrigue me, for example, what is the story of Baby McDonald resting near the CO's relations? Full of history tinged with sadness!
The coordinates led me straight to GZ and the cache. With the log signed I was off again! TFTC

Suscoe's third find of the morning.
Drove in here and all was quiet.
A quick set of numbers and we headed to the new GZ.
Cache located and all was good.
Thanks to lennyboy for a nice trip into an area we would have driven past.
Rain threatening from the north but still dry.
Drove in here and all was quiet.
A quick set of numbers and we headed to the new GZ.
Cache located and all was good.
Thanks to lennyboy for a nice trip into an area we would have driven past.

One of only a couple of multi's that I tried today. This one worked out without any problems - just the way that we like them. Thanks to the cache owner for the cache.
Found with Niftynevau. Good easy multi. Sad to see the graves of such young children buried there and the disrepair of some graves from rabbits burrowing underneath and some just from decay. TFTC

Found it! In the dark too! Left something quite apt for the location and took the chipmunk!
I love the history of cemetery caches. Thanks for bringing us here to learn a little more of the history of the area and for the cache.
Two cemeteries in a row, people will be talking. Quick find. TFTC
