I think due to increasingly nasty mozzies and persistent muggling, we'll have to retire this one
Wish I had read the logs before biking up here and being set upon by mozzies!! Lol
Out and about with one half of Felix II in Mandurah as there were caches to be found. Sadly Anna’s cache is no more as the cache has been muggled. Half of the container was found lying in the open and the cover of the log found nearby. Maybe time to relocate to a safer muggle free area. Mossies were big and hungry as we departed in a hurry!!!
Popped down to Mandurah to catch up with Coast'n Along. We headed out to try and clean up the map near Meadow Springs.
Well we pulled up behind a mini van bringing visitors from a care facility for a visit here. We followed them down to the deck then doubled back for the cache. The mozzies were enormous and plentiful. We were hoping for a quick grab so we could run away! Well it wasn't as quick as we might have liked or as successful. We did find half of the cache after Mrs Felix got quite a few mozzie bites. Unfortunately the cache is no more. We found half the container and the outside of the log. It has definitely been muggled. Claiming a find as we found some of the cache!

Found on our cache hunt with Penguin Patrol. Took a bit of searching in the dark. Mozzies were friendly as warned by the sign on the way in. 12th for the evening. TNLN SL TFTH.
Day 43... Find No.2.......Under water.....
Approached GZ and the path disappeared into a lake of water with a bench seat floating somewhere in the distance! Made an easy find with a soggy foot!

Geo Sister found this one after a while. Dardy Spot.
You may want to take a pen as this was a little dry.

Yayz found it. Great hide. I was so close last time and didn't know it! TFTH. Cheers, Raz
Went looking half an hour before sunset with my boys, but we didn't find it as it got too dark. A man walking a dog came by who knew what we were doing, as he was related to the man who placed the cache. He said we were pretty close. Will try again

After my hike from scoop i was happy to get to this one. The second on my hike!
once at the GZ i was mightly surprised. I came to this exact spot last year on a geography excursion. Surrounded my midgies, i walked along the boardwalk before making my find.
Once in the area, i was preparing my climb (from the clue) but then in the corner of my eye i saw!
thank goodness because otherwise i think it would of taken awhile.
A nice quick find.
Thanks Team Wibble

Over in WA, checked on the cache and it was on the ground with contents strewn! Re-hid, and we've been assured the mosquitoes are much better now.
Wow the mozzies are feral here.....
The geokids and wife abandoned me for the car....
Didnt find it and wont be back either..

After receiving negative feedback on the location of this cache (specifically the mosquitoes), I'm taking this offline for a little while. I prefer cachers to be taken to an interesting location and experience something positive when finding my caches, and while initially I thought this was the case, it's been a bad year for mosquitoes and I've received more negative comments than positive ones. We'll check out GZ in a few weeks when we're over there next and see if the situation has improved, if not we'll archive.
My in (out?) laws lived close by to here for a few years and I never bothered to turn my GPSr on as we came to visit them so I was pleasantly surprised when I wandered into GZ today, being so close to an area I am familiar with now. I made a nice and quick find, and although I had sprayed myself with repellent, I was carried out to the creek by the mozzies as I signed the log. I managed to land again and rehid the container before some muggle kids rode up on their BMXs.
TFTC Team Wibble, nice hide in a rather pretty spot

Mozzies, mozzies, mozzies... they were everywhere & I even swallowed one when I was complaining about them! I think I would have swatted 20 or more while I was signing the log, but it didn't seem to deter their buddies. Dusk is probably not the best time for this cache (I had no problems with mozzies earlier in the day, but every cache had them once the sun started to set. This ended up being the last for the day - 29 GC + 2 GCA caches - which is far more than I was expecting when I headed out. Needless to say I didn't take the opportunity to take an extended walk along the boardwalk (although I did venture on before finding the cleverly concealed cache).
TFTC Team Wibble - I swapped out a couple of your pathtags for a couple of mine.
PS I'm also visiting a couple of (grand)nieces I haven't previously met on this visit to WA.

The 1st for a day of caching in Mandurah, we were lucky as there were no muggles close by as they wer all out crabbing.

Made a very quick check on the cache while over here for Christmas - we swear the mozzies weren't this bad when we placed the cache! Got eaten alive. Cache in good condition and we added a few pathtags to the cache for the next finders.
On Holiday in WA - almost gave up and realised we had been walking past it for ages. Good hide
Was a lovely day to be out looking, we did take a little while to find and had to look carefully as there were a couple of muggles out enjoying the fresh air.

I was with nannawendy when we located this cache, it took a little while to find though, I didn't have an account set up so I didn't sign log, but as i helped to locate the cache I am going to claim it now my account is set up

Flying solo today so had to fight the mozzies off on my own. Fairly easy find, despite the distractions. Took TB, left barette.
Nice easy on for the kids. The mozzies whereabouts but took precaution after reading previous comments and used the areogard spray first! Took bangle, left dinosaur. Thanks
Found with Natman, a nice spot, but the mosquito sign is a concern. SL TNLN TFTH[ ]
11th cache for today. A geotrail going into the area of the cache made it an easy find after waiting for some muggles to leave the area.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We had to wait for an elderly muggle couple to vacate their seats before we could resume our search for this one so we took a stroll along the boardwalk - thanks for bringing us here Team WIbble. Once the couple had gone we returned and found the cache with the help of the hint - nifty little spot you found to hide it. TFTH
This is a well hidden secret spot! Quite a few birds enjoying the winter sunshine. A nice easy find due to a well worn geotrail. Left my pathtag. Thanks for the hunt Team Wibble.
The hint certainly helped to locate this one. No TB sighted. Signed the log. TFTH
Welcome to the world of geocaching Anna and the reason for the placing of this cache. We hadn't been to this part of Mandurah before so was great to explore a new area.

Geokid jnr loved the photo of baby Anna only thing was she was upset because Anna wasn't out having her walk when we found the cache. Very quiet spot and i reckon in years to come the park will be a popular place for Anna to stretch her legs. T4TH

quick easy find after picking the kids up from school, walked past the mossie warning sign straight into a swarm of mossies ... was glad it was a quick find. TSLS TFTH SL
Went looking for this one yesterday but didnt find it... Definitely going back for another look soon.
It was a bit wet today, maybe too wet for a stroll with Anna, as we didn't see her on the boardwalk, maybe when its sunny again. TFTC
2nd TF took Dolphin TB and the Team Wibble Pathtag SL & left 2 turtles because we were too slow.......... but oh so close as Moonlightz (I presume) was walking away with her GPS in her hand. T4TH
FTF!! And on my first solo cache, too!
I left TB Dolphin, thought it'd like to be near the water.
Took PT.
Mozzies were bad! Perhaps because it had rained today.
TFTH so close to home.
