Due to a prescribed burn this fab cache is no longer there. It was safe but alas not. Thank you for the 17 likes everyone. A new cache is coming up so everyone can re find this neat cache, views & location.
Due to a fire I am disabling this cache until I can check out if it is burnt or not. Thanks.

How clever is this one. Found with GSP liver. Don’t forget to look up as well. Tftc
Had the chance to meet up with our dear friends from Canberra , the 2 N's. Decided to tackle a few caches in the national park before having a nice lunch together. Supr views from here. The cache was found after a short search down the hill. tftc sl tnln
Spent some time with Jackylegs44 looking at the great views. Oh! better go get the cache. Slid down the hill for a quick find. SL TFTC
Found some Christmas spiders on the route down. Found a trackabe will take it on a journey. With paddyanwraith
Headed up this way today to place the traffic control movable cache. Had the morning free and thought of heading up the hill with it.

Quick find after a slow walk down watching out for little spiders. Cool cache. TFTC
Felt quite lucky to find this clever hide with my phone bouncing all over the place. Had visited this beautiful lookout a few times before in my misspent youth. TFTC astrohiker.
After previously finding this great cache decided it would be a great place to start off our sons duck "Jaydang" in the duck dash, good luck on your journey "Jaydang"
We placed "Jaydang" on top of this cache and he should reveal himself when you make the find on the cache

We probably took the hardest route down possible, but at least we found the easier route on the way back up. Found quite easily. Fantastic view.

Drive by this one today to find a fresh bunch of flowers had been left for a father departed. Very Sad
One of the best hides we've ever come across, well done absolutely loved it TFTC
I always figured it was too steep to venture here but seems I was wrong. Very clever little hide had me cackling with glee when I found it. I also saw Dusky Woodswallows gliding about near the lookout - a bird I haven't seen in ages so everything is doubly good this afternoon.
Scratched my legs bad finding this one because the gps was all over the joint before it settled in on the gz. TFTF
Had a bit of a hunt before reading the description which then made it clear what we had missed checking. Confirm trackable taken as per below entry but still showing as being in cache
Parked at GZ. We haven't been here for years. Hopped over the fence and walked down to the GZ. A quick find was made, and we walked back to the car.

Hi. I have replaced the cache several weeks ago with a lighter one. THE CACHE DOES NOT HANDLE ANY ITEMS EXCEPT VERY LIGHT CARDS OR SIMILAR.
There is an outstanding NM attribute on this listing. If the cache is OK then an 'Owner Maintenance' log should be done by the cache owner to remove the NM attribute from the listing.
Cache owners are required to maintain the listing as well as the physical cache.

Pulling up there was already a car there. So sneaking off into the scrub I was soon at GZ. After a short look about i soon found my smile in a place I wasn't expecting. After leaving my mark and grabbing a TB, it was back to the car and off on the next adventure.
I hadn't been here for years, thanks for bringing me back astrohiker.

I went up there this morning. Cleaned it out, replaced the log & left the $2 coin there. I fixed up the mechanism. I need a lighter cache in there. Too easy to fall out.
Couple spiders to get through on the way down. Cache might need a bit of a clear out, lots of papers. Also there is a small amount of money in there. TFTF. Wish this spot was still open in the evenings to enjoy. Pity people abuse the area.
Thanks Miss Nancy B. I will replace the log and re the money, I will deposit that in the Rotary Wishing Well at Gloucester Park. I was there today doing stuff.
Thanks for the treasure! Nana found this one while we are on holidays from Melbourne
Great find. Out with familysteiner. A bit hot today to bush bash but u do what u gotta do tftc
Found on a sunny day with only a few muggles around... daughter loved plane watching here. What a beautiful spot!
Pulled up at lookout and there was a large group of asians tourists there. Worked out generally where the GZ was. Decided to drive up the road a tad and then back track downhill and accross under the unsuspecting crowd. My noise from treading on dead branches and leaves may have given me away though. All good fun. Tftc
Great view.. But I was disappoint on the way you can see lot of glass bottles and also pieces.. Shame that we didn't take plastic bag with us to collect them.. Thanks

Despite some sketchy weather, I rode some of the Heritage Trail Loop, before backtracking to ride the winding Park Rd and eventually finding a track that stretched my MTBing lack of skill and lead me back to the Heritage Trail Loop. The heavens opened about 15 minutes before I arrived at GZ so I was drenched. I ditched my bike behind the wall and picked my way through the bush to log this find. Thanks astrohiker.
After a failed attempt at a FTF nearby I had stop in and grab this one on the way out.
Bit of a bush bash to GZ but found the interestingly suspended cache straight away.

I have never been along this road and I am glad I did. So good, that I placed a cache at the next viewpoint! A very skilful hide here. I like it! Great views, great cache. Thank you.
As a special birthday treat, I suggested to megawat60, a drive to the Darling Scarp on this lovely Autumn day. The view from the top was awesome, although a bit hazy. We wandered over to GZ, where after a bit of looking, he had the cache in hand. A great start to our day in the Hills! TFTC astrohiker!
Birthday treat for m4yb and her choice to head into the hills and find a few caches, this was our first and definitely not a disappointment, although a bit further off the path than I would have envisaged. A slight chill still in the air, but beautiful blue sky's made a for a perfect day to be here and lovely walk in this bush.
Thanks astrohiker.
Thanks astrohiker.
Checked this tree but needed the clue to find the cache. Now that IS clever. This might be a method that will be reused in one or two gum trees in the wheatbelt sometime soon ...
Many thanks for the cache, astrohiker!

Headed up to John Forrest National Park today hoping to do PaddyK's Dragon Gate cache (GCVKM3). Parked at the top of Morrison Road and walked in from there. After a bit of disappointment at GCVKM3, I headed to this one. Followed some Kangaroo tracks and human made tracks for a while and was then bush-bashing toward the cache not realising that I was waling parallel to the road abut 50 metres away until I saw a car go past. Followed the road for the last 270-odd metres, then walked into the cache from the lookout.
Signed the log. Thanks for the hide astrohiker
Might catch up with you at the 'WA Goes BIG in 2015' event in Busselton later this year (GC5GR5X)

The day started early that morning watching my daughter rock climbing at the quarry and taking my grandson to a cache nearby. Then headed out to this one. Being from South Africa had not been out this way in a while noticed just how much Perth had grown. What a beautiful view. Took a 57m walk down to the cache and in a short while found the cache. Deegmel my grandson did a trade we both signed the log and headed back to the top. Took some amazing photos and will return in a few years from now to see the beautiful city of Perth from that look out point. Thanks for a lovely cache.
Awesome bush trek down to the cache. Walked around a bit avoiding spiders and their webs, re read the description and had this in hand in seconds. Pulling the cache from its place I felt stinging, looking down I spotted a huge March fly having a snack of my leg, ouch swipe swipe. I was attacked by a tag team of March flys whilst I wrote the log, my entry is a little messy as I had to stamp my feet as I wrote, but still they got me. Freakn things just wouldn't leave me alone!!!
Note to self, don't wear shorts in the bush.

Found on our anniversary trip to Perth for the weekend.
Nice lookout and neat hide
Found a tick on me after our adventure to the park so may be worth adding the tick alert attribute with Lyme on the rise.

Out this neck of the woods to meet a friend for the Eagle View hike close by, I calculated that I had enough time to make this detour and nab a cache before our meeting time of 10am.
I wandered around looking for a quick find, once all the obvious hiding spots had been checked I started on the not so obvious spots and what do you know
Nice one astrohiker, have a fav point for a simple but effective hide well executed.
