We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!

Our GPS'r had uds in the middle of a road, some 23m from the nearest structure!

Thanks anyway to tigersden for bringing us to this location.

Haven't had a caching run for a while now. Thought on this cold old day we'd go pick up a few near us. Searched hi and low for this one. Even extended the boundaries substantially. Did see a spot though, which had me wondering if it might be MIA. See if the next person finds it. Might have been just unlucky today

Easter long weekend meant a camping trip to NSW. We decided to head off on the Thursday night so hbby could revisit his holiday camp site at nearby Batyo Catyo. Looks a bit sad now but we still enjoyed exploring it (I've even skied on it way back when there was water). So after a few quick caches and a look around we headed to Walkers instead and camped under the beautiful stars with his sister. We set up camp then walked/rode to the cache. A nice easy find. Such a beauty of a campground. Adding some pics of our adventures Smile

The thing about Geocaching that I love - it takes me to places that I would otherwise not visit and to memorials that are always interesting. rusty0316 went for walk around this lake last week with the Field Nats to gather artifacts and other evidence that may indicate aboriginals may have camped there on a regular basis. It was very interesting going for a drive around this lake and observing the trees.

We ventured into this neck of the woods on the last day of a 10 day road trip in order to complete the [Centurion Centroid Challenge](http://coord.info/GC59WFG) which is surprisingly at least 50Ks from the nearest cache I had previously found and set about finding all the caches in the area to ensure I had found the one closest to my centroid by day's end and as I was about 50-60 logs behind calculating my centroid a case of hit and miss requiring a large area to be cleared to ensure I got the right one.
This didn't pose too much of an impost as some great caches and locations were found.
We drove part way around the nearby lake on out route to get here and it did look very inviting for a swim, the cache was found in the open but replaced it where it seemed it belonged.
Thanks

Travelling around Australia with our Cat.

Staying a few days in St Arnaud today we decided to head out towards Donald and surrounds.

We had a great day which included seeing lot's of historic sites and 3 very scenic hilltop caches.

The lake sure had lot's of water in it here. Imagine what it was like with all those people living here.

Thanks for placing your cache to add to our exploration of this area tigersden Cool

Today we decided on a country drive to St Arnaud & Donald, to pick up some caches in the area.
Our GZ was off a little, but we located the cache after a short search.
Many thanks for placing this cache, tigersden, for us and others to find.

Find 517. Found 4.17pm.

Went for an afternoon drive to Donald to do some caching. Penny our dog came with us for the drive and so did FUF009. Now on our way home - the long way of course to get more caches, including this one.

As FUF009 had found this one previously, he just stayed in the ute and watched us hunt for the find and we found it without his help.

Find #273

Some time ago when I was still new to geocaching (think I was still in single figures) I decided to go out and try and find this cache. After an extensive search I did not find the cache. Not knowing, at the time, that I should have put a DNF on the log, but as time went by and I found out more about geocaching and all different types of ways to hide caches I decided to tackle this one again.

When I got out there this time my new GPSr had the GZ in the middle of the road ?????? “that’s strange” so I broadened my hunt area for the would be Cache. Unfortunaly after a good 45min search under every rock, around fence posts and looking around the two monuments that are near the GZ. I had given up again. But on walking back to my ute I noticed a small A7 notepad. That had tackled the elements a few times over. On the first page I could make out the letters “GC” and also the numbers 13 6 (cach hide date maybe?) i believe I have found the logbook but no container. So I took it upon myself to get a small container and use it.

I have placed the replacement cache (60ml pill bottle) and log near the monument mentioned in the Cache Description.

Thanks for bringin me to this interesting location

Went out of our way to find this one but our GPS had us in the middle of the road. We looked high and low but couldn't locate it. All we got from this one was pickles in our socks. Might be worth having a check of coordinates & cache.

Searched for this one with Tha Quiet Plodder but with GZ being in the middle of the road we did not locate the cache.

This one stumped me! Our GPSr was showing GZ on the dirt road away from the memorial. That aside, strolled through the long grass to the memorial and searched high, low and wide for some distance but no luck. There was a cluster of out of place small rocks near the memorial (and clearly not of the memorial) but no cache there. Extended the search across the dirt road, looked at the other nearby memorial but no success. Had to log this as the only DNF in the District for the day. With Dylan 7a.

Found by Roma and Max.
This was the first of 10 finds today in another effort to clean up your caches in this area!
Another interesting monument.
Thanks tigersden.
Cheers, from Romax.
