This cache seems to have been abandoned by its owner as the maintenance request(s) has been ignored for over 6 months now. It is frustrating having it on the geocaching map and some cachers may attempt to look for it when its clearly not there anymore. Thank you.
We know for sure that there are more DNF's than what you see. Could the CO please check this cache.
Not in the obvious place. A quick search of the surrounding foliage also produced nothing but we didn't want to wreck it so didn't search too hard there. A lovely park though with an abundance of bird life and some beautiful water lilies that were out in flower. Thanks.
DNF at 10:37 AM. Here we go again. Another first cache for the day where we couldn't find the cache. It is odd though that there have been cachers around this area in the past few months and no one has visited this one. The Drovers - put in your blasted DNF's will ya!

Ninth of 37 finds on a four night holiday to Mackay for a wedding. I found this cache at 15:33.
After caching around the Cape Hillsborough National Park I was on my way back to my accommodation in Mackay when I took a detour to find this cache. After navigating through the school traffic I parked the car, made the short walk to the GZ and located the cache. Very quick find.

Cache was on the ground and pad taken out. Found iron time for someone to throw it out and placed it in a safe place in GZ
Here from Canada, doing a bit of caching as we explore Australia....
What a great park. Wish I was a kid again, I'd climb on those pyramids myself.
Thanks for the hide Team MCNN!

Lots of grubs still present around this cache! I didn't leave a present in this one since I didn't have anything interesting on me on the way to work. But I have left a sturdy hand-sized stick nearby to help the next cacher get it out and away from the grubs. TFTC.
Another great park to celebrate a find with the JuniorSeekers. The dogs nearby didn't like geocachers coming near their yard. Plenty of muggle families here today but it was the family of itchy grubs that have built a home around the cache that had us worried. Next cacher may want to bring gloves if they haven't moved off. TFTC.
Took me a little bit to figure out that the name had nothing to do with the location of the cache. After that it was an easy find! TFTC!
Found on our Qld adventure trip around the tourist spots of Mackay.
Nice quiet park and a quick find with no muggles around thankfully.
I wonder where all the locals are this weekend? TNLNSL TFTC,
Cheers from way down south of NSW.

Sorry we have taken so long to change this one. Had some time today. Changed out container and new log inside.
Yes the cache container is as described by previous loggers.
We found this in a lovely garden in a new residental area, a nice easy find.
I don't know what connection the name has with this cache or location

Medium sized sistema filled with goodies??? It's a rusty old mint tin which has the lid broken off but I still managed to put it in place. Need to change the description. It was just thrown in and I could see it from a distance even in the dark. Replaced it more carefully. TFTC
Boys ran off without us and found it in 59 seconds (yes they actually timed it lol!)
Another day of caching in Mackay and today was not wet which made things much more pleasant. This was one we enjoying finding.
Thanks to Team MCNN.
Thanks to Team MCNN.
Found but didn't leave name, there was no pencil in the cache and didn't have one of my own. TFTF.

Had geokids with us for this one, 1 played in the park while the other helped geopoppy find the cache. Not sure if they found the right one, the one they found was very rusty and only had a sheet of paper which had been signed reently so they signed on that. TFTC
Talking about duck hunting season
Just about couldn't get to the cache for all the birds

A quick and easy find. Cache container is falling apart a bit and log will need to be replaced soon.

As others had already commented, the cache container is now an eclipse mint tin.
The log is wet and could do with replacing.

Tnln TFTC definitely eclipse tin not sistema in case you go looking like we did lol
Nice cache in a great spot. We found this one but it was in an eclipse tin, not a container as stated in the GC description. TFTC

This was an (Eclipse container) and found out in the open, signed log and placed back where I think it should have been.

Ahhh, my first Queensland cache. We arrived from Perth yesterday and, while the geowife and son were off doing stuff, I took a drive around the area having a look at everything that has changed. After a while I plugged this cache into the nuvi and headed on over.
On arrival, I walked to where the Dakota 20 said that the cache was located and spotted a mint tin on the ground. Back home I would have checked it straight up but, as this is listed as a regular cache, I ignored it and started searching. After a few minutes, and reacquainting myself with some green ants, I read the previous logs and realised that the mint tin is what I was after all along.
So I grabbed it and signed the log before placing the cache back into a better spot.
Thanks for my first cache in Queensland Team MCNN
Cheers

Cache was in the open but intact so replaced in a less visable place near where found.
Our 5502nd overall find.
This was just what we needed (well miss 7 did anyway). After flying from Newcastle early this morning we needed a chance to play and play we did. I made a quick find and then headed back to play with Miss 7 on this fantastic playground.
Thanks Team MCNN for the cache.

One of a several local Caches I decided on for today.
This would be classed as a micro (Eclipse tin) , no room for the TB I was carrying.
Could use some TLC as the container is deteriorating and only a 1 page log

Great spot to visit nice walk. Found on our way back to Seaforth after a caching trip to Mackay. The old log was wet and disintegrated replaced with a new sheat of paper in a new bag. TFTC.
Thought I had better put a found it log in so it registers on my iPhone as found. This was a good one as the children had fun searching. Cheers.
Well I had been looking for a regular container on this one until I read the logs. It is not till now I noticed in the logs that it got changed to a micro by the cache owner.
I found the cache .. allbeit very wet. In keeping with the rules of the game, I signed the log - but it really needs replacing ASAP. TFTC Team MCNN

Grabbed it on the way home from work. Probably should have done that well before now. It was an easy find indeed as I could see it on the ground as I approached. The good old eclipse tin is a cachers favourite (We should all buy shares) but alas they aren't that good at keeping water out. As with other cachers I was unable to sign the log as it hada similar consistency to paper mache. Thanks for the cache however and now at least my tom tom will not sound an alarm as I pass this spot.
found the remenents of the container on the ground and a water soak log book. We put it back together and place the container in between the rocks. Not sure what to do with it!!
Cache container just looked like a piece of rubbish lying on the ground.
I've looked for this cache in the past without success, but this time I can cross it off the list.
Like others have already stated, it needs maintenance.

Cache is soaked and needs desperate maintenance. Found with JasmineAlderton and forsakenchapter.
Found this cache with GeoBuddies KindleVonPulse and ForsakenChapter. The description is misleading but the GPS co-ordinates led us to the right spot. Cache is water damaged and needs replacing.
crossing auround and search some caches, it feels so good to be here.
thank for this cache and showing me so many beutiful places

Log and extra paper have all turned to wet mush. I left another notebook page but container is also starting to go rusty. SL TFTC
Nice easy find on our way home from an extended holiday in Ayr. Hopefully the roads will all be open by sunday, so we can get home to the sunshine coast. Log book was saturated, so we sat for a while to dry it as long as we could. I'd imagine there will be a whole lot of caches a lot worse off than this after these terrible floods Thanks Team MCNN
GPS took me to a garden bed next to some ones back yard.. A fair distance from the "pyramids".. Not sure if I was in the right area? Fantastic playground though will visit again.
Like others we had trouble with this one. The co-ordinates took us to a garden bed. I had a look around the garden bed but it just didn't seem right. A further hint would be great.

I'm sure this park is lovely in the dry weather. Very soggy today. Found the cache when we thought about popular cache hiding places. TFTC
Puddles69 - Who would have thought!!! This park is amazing, waterlillies, ducks - amazing. Took a cat and left Santa. TFTC
Coordinates lead us to the backyard with three muggle dogs but no cache around.
We looked inside several of those nearby "pyramids" but only found them being used as trashbins. Is the cache still active?

It was good to score this one as we had to post a DNF on the last cache which was in this possy when it was MIA.

[:-)] It was a great way to spend Father's Day, was a small cache and would have not thought it was one until we opened it. Looking forward to many more - Philip's
Thought I better check on this one after the recent logs. Sure enough the cache had been ransacked. Replaced it with a new smaller cache hopefully this will do the trick. Will have to watch this one closely.
DNF. Coords had me in some grass although I had a look at the nearby garden bed - didn't want to damage it too much though. Does the hint still apply?

We did this cache today only to find it in pieces near it's hidey hole. The log book was there torn to shreds but nothing else. We gave the park a good look around but found nothing that looked like it belonged to the cache. We picked up what pages we found from the log and placed them in the container and placed it back in where we thought it may belong.TFTC

Found during our weekend caching trip to Mackay. Easy find, with only one duck feeding muggle family to worry about. Found at 1400hrs.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 73 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, on a night run after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at the Glenella Dance Hall for four hours or so of line dancing, and made a fairly quick and easy GAFF 0 find despite the coords being 7 metres out. I didn't get the Egyptian bit, but my headlight doesn't make much of a floodlight.
My find No 2773, LCC, TNLNSL, grabbed Dave's Dragon Series Geocoin (ref = TB1PQPQ), dropped my WanderingAus Happy New Year 2008 Gold GC in for a visit before grabbing it back again.

Came here after teaching at North Mac High today. Swapped Geocoin after making an easy grab this afternoon. Cheers from Sydney.

Now that the school holidays are over I decided to try again hoping the park would be a bit quieter. Wrong. The play area was full of muggle parents with muggle children. Turned out the cache is fortunately mostly out of view of the muggles although stealth was required as 2 groups of muggles were feeding the ducks at the nearby lake. Despite all this I found the cache easily. Took the rubber space shuttle and left a rubber superball. Also sighted the Green Gorgeous Monkey Geocoin but left it there for someone else. Thankyou Team MCNN for replacing this cache.
Found along with Little Bower Bird & Katana0304.
