Fairly easy pick-up while attending the event in Kawerau. Log is wet, needs new paper.
Found before the Kawerau event. I made a written note about a log being very wet and needing to be replaced but am now not 100% sure it was this one. Perhaps the next finder could confirm?
MAny thanks

Found this one today while visiting friends in NZ. This is a beautiful place to visit and cache. TFTC
Nice park. Some of the old oak trees have blown down with the recent wind but Cache secure. The log is a bit wet and could do with drying out or replacing.
Almost gave up but thought I would poke deeper in a likely hole with a stick and out it popped. Thanks for the find.
Nice find on a beutiful day, will try to locate the others the next time we call through. Log needs to be replaced as was a bit soggy. Unfortunately I didn't have spare paper with me at the time. TFTC
Sixth find for the afternoon. Visited a few trees before the gps got it right. Log a bit damp, but write-on-able. TFTC.
#2560. Had fish and chips at a nice spot by the river, before going to GZ to make the find. TNLNSL. TFTC.
The gardening crew were busy here today but luckily the cache is in a good spot and we had no difficulty. TFTC
16:25 An unusually 'standard' cache by the lizard. eh what. JC enjoyed the 'controlled' frolic (You'd have to read the dog sign by the road to get that), by what we made into a 'drive by' cache. Cheers, GC
On our way to the TuiGlen Farm to go horseriding we had a quick stop to find this cache. An easy find, but the logbook was quite wet.

After the White Island tour got cancelled we decided to go horseriding at the Tui Gleb Farm. On the way there we passed this cache and since we still had plenty of time left we stopped and searched for it. Found te cache quickly.

The river was running high today after heavy rain in the area last night. Quick find tftc
Short detour to Kawerau while staying in the area. Found the cache but only after eliminating all the other possible hiding places first T4TC.
The first time we drove past Boyce Park it was pouring with rain so we didn't stop. Timed it perfectly for a break in the showers on our return. Good co-ords so a quick find. Thanks.

Into Kawerau to find a few caches, found this one in the first place I looked, unfortunately I didn't find it the first time I looked there, so spent about five minutes looking else where TFTC Geckoh
Found and nearly lost it too. Have an aversion to putting my hand into holes- but judicious use of stick retrieved it.
Coordinates were great. Nice wander under guidance of Dominic-Aiden. Lovely spot for a frisbee throw.
OUR 400TH FIND ! Once again, the extraction device needed for another Geckoh hide in Whakatane came in useful. Easily found on this lovely Sunday afternoon.
Last of eleven today in the area. Thought we weren't going to get this one as it had been pushed in a little far, but K's smaller hands managed it - just! TFTC
2.40pm - This cache hasnt floated away, had a few problems though with GPS, think it could have been the trees around TFTC
How embarrasing, FTDNF! Had a really good look and even had a friendly local pukeko's assistance, though I think he was more interested in worms than caches. Maybe floated away with all the rain?
Drove around to this one after work, actually almost drove over it. It was lying on the ground out in the open well away from any hiding place. Hadn't been interfered with so I suspect some critter had scratched it out. Poked it in a suitable place close to where found. Cheers,TFTC!!
It pays to check you are navigating off rd.
Took me a few mins to figure this out!!
Easy after that

Beautiful frosty morning, very quiet around the town, not much life...everyone must still be in bed. Nice spot by the river. TFTC.
Had to endure an "interesting" history of the park and the trees from an elderly gentleman, since I was showing such an interest!
Came back once I had the place to myself!

Jak off to the movies with his mate so Morg's and I off to do some caching, GPS not working so Morgs checking out all hidey holes in the rain. Didn't take to long for him to find and not to wet from all the rain, thanks for the FTF and for getting us out of the house. Thanks
