After a few domestic chores this morning the time came for me to head out and enjoy a spot of geocaching. Heading the geowagon in the direction of the hills today I had a few target caches on the radar for a challenge cache Im working on. Arriving at an appropriate place to park the geowagon I soon made my way to GZ and located the prize. Made my mark and I as soon on my way to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to enjoy.CheersPs log only for this one. Cache missing cable tie in place with log rapped around it.
Found the log sheet wrapped around a zip tie but not the metal cache as well. TFTC
Cache does not appear to be in tree, as seen in photo sent by a previous player. Probably removed.
Easy find, but in desperate need of maintenance - it's still just a log and a ziptie - I'm very surprised it has held up this long haha
TFTC!

Kadanga_Krew I found your cache Hit for Six! on 2/6/2023, 10:10 am. This is my find 5475 and find # 3 today. No problems locating the zip tie and log but no container. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Short walk to gz, hubby soon had log in hand. No container, just zip tie and log.
Found the zip ties that used to hold the replacement cache. That has gone missing too.
Added a new temporary log.
Find number 28155 for me.
Thank you Kadanga_Krew for hiding this geocache.

Today, the plan was a hike to Kobble Creek Falls and Middle Kobble Remote Bush Camp in D'Aguilar National Park. It was only a small group that completed the hike in 3.5 hr, and with remaining time and energy, an additional hike was made to the Pipe Comanche Plane wreck / [Palm Gully](https://coord.info/GC102FM). This walk extension wasn't too bad until there was a required steep descent to the wreckage, and some interesting history was learned. On my return back home, I took a few final stops along Mount Glorious Road, including the completion of the *Camp Mountain Rail Disaster* Adventure Lab.
On my way back home, I thought I'd make a stop at this cricket oval / The Highlands Recreation Reserve. Some interesting facilities here, and I had the place to myself with no sport occurring this afternoon. After having a thorough search around the hinted object, and then continuing to look around the place, I confirmed that this cache was no longer here. I also checked with a former finder. I debated whether to log a DNF or assist with maintenance, and with some available time, I decided to message the CO, and subsequently replaced the cache on their behalf. The cache is now a small preform container hidden in the tree just behind the small tank - I suspect the former hide was continuing to be found by those maintaining the tank and facilities. Thanks Kadanga_Krew for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Feel like we found where it should have been, but after some digging, could not locate it!
Out caching on this beautiful day.
A quick find at gz, all is well with the cache.

My third find of the day as I take the really long way to Strathpine…
I’ve actually been here once before and walked away empty handed… it must have been late in the day that first visit because the cache was in the first place I looked… and I’m not sure how I missed it…

A drive to Samford to get a new battery for the mower and I see not so far away some caches. Having to continue my own personal challenge. I set off to make the find. Wow there was no one around here today and such a big sporting field. I wondered over and made the find very quickly, signed the log and replaced as found. Oh there is a couple more just up the road.
Thanks for the hide and for keeping my challenge going.

Everything is so green today and the sky is so blue. A lovely walk across the lawn to get to the cache. Thank you!!
Found after a short search.
Out and about on my bicycle.

Finally catching up on doing some logging I had grabbed a lift with grannysmith1947 to an event being held at Wivenhoe dam and then continued caching afterwards with Snickersallan, patrol14, E_Smiley, hatzofff, and RoddyC.
It didn't take us very long to locate the cache and with our names added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Kadanga_Krew for creating the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

After the Community Event at Lake Wivenhoe, I joined RoddyC, Hatzofff, Snickerallan, Patrol14, grannysmith1947 and Just a Trifle caching in the area.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Kadanga_Krew. We had a wonderful time!

Visiting from the Gold Coast after attending a Celebration Event and what a better way to spend the remainder of the day than caching with geofriends, hatzofff, RoddyC, patrol14, E_Smiley, Just a Trifle and grannysmith1947.
Certainly had to use stealth here as a nearby spectator kept looking at our group probably wondering why we were all hiding behind the hedge.

A day caching after the event with RoddyC, Grannysmith1947, Just a trifle, Patrol 14, snickersallan, E smiley.
Plenty of distractions with a game in play. Although one of our team was more interested in playing with trucks in the dirt.

Out today with RoddyC Hatzofff Snickersallan grannysmith 1947 e(: and just a trifle for a day of caching. Now I get the cache name as a game was in progress. An easy find even if we had to be stealthy.

Last cache for the day and one I've looked for in the past, but DNF'd due to being missing.
There was a cricket game on with plenty of spectators, luckily GZ was partially covered by some trees so I'm hoping I wasn't spotted. The cache was quickly spotted and in hand. Signed the log and replaced the cache as found.
Thank you for replacing.

There's a weird toilet if you want to check that out while you're there. TFTC
Been a while between caches. Good to log one again. This was a bit too easy though. High risk of being muggled, so tucked it up out of sight a little. Should still be an easy find.
Searched high and low. It appears that the previous dnfs were correct. Not liking 'remote' caches to be missing in action, I have taken the liberty of providing a replacement. Cheers
No luck here this morning unfortunately. Looked for about 15 minutes, but had my partner waiting in the car so I couldn’t spend more time here. Not many places it could be though.
DNF we looked everywhere. But this is only our 3rd cache and we only have found one. We will come back and try again soon.
After some search, found just laying on the ground. Placed back where I believe it should have been according to the coordinates
Great find! After about 5 seconds of looking at the spot my 10 year old found it.
First of eight caches for the morning. A fabulous start to the day pre-work caching with Pprime and totalube, starting at Samford and doing a loop of Mt Nebo. We watched the sun rise and the fog lift while waiting for totalube to arrive, and it was almost magical . Great little corner of the world.
This was a very easy find, all is well with the cache container and log. The boys made the terrain slightly higher than technically required, but I took the more elegant path back to Suzee :p.
TFTC and TB visits while I am here

Another wonderful Wednesday dawn wander with totalube and oz_bean_counter. Starting here with dawn occurring in front of us (I really do love watching that). A quick wonder around the fence, over the grass and a quick find at GZ.
Thanks Kadanga_Krew for entertaining me at this location.

Just going out for a bike ride and decided to grab this cache, been meaning to do it for a while and we may as well do now during isolation. Pretty easy to find (a bit hard to get out), great spot though, TFTC.
Also this cache needs a new log book urgently and also I put a little swap in the cache.
Found this one today whilst out and about TFTC from the inspectorrexteam.
I was on my way to Mt Nebo for a bushwalk and stopped here for a quick find on my way. Got my feet wet walking through the long grass. Thanks for the cache
There are just some times when a cache name aligns with your experience that you wouldn’t read about (unless you’re reading this). I have to award a favourite point for our experience.
As we pulled in there was a game of cricket in full swing. I asked Mrs Woodyrothwell whether we should just drive on but she recommended we should at least see how close we could get. So we parked up and wandered over. Seeing one of the fielders was smoking a durrie on the boundary I knew it was a relaxed atmosphere.
As we were looking around one of the punters came up to us with half a roll of dunny paper and handed it to me. That was a strange welcome and I asked what it was for. He strangely asked if we had pulled up to use the toilet (he didn’t exactly use the word toilet). We didn’t even realise we were next to a loo.
I soon had the cache in hand and moved from beyond the tree to watch a few overs while I stamped the log (being a cricket tragic it was second nature). The next ball was short-pitched and the batter at the western end got a hold of it.
I could see the ball flying our way and with a bit of curve it was coming right at us. My wife was unsighted behind the tree and I yelled “HIDE!!” I would have stuck out a hand to catch it but I didn’t want the cache ruined.
The next thing we heard was the bang as the ball smashed into the toilet just metres from my wife. It was a great six and I’m glad I was right next to it to witness the event although the toilet copped the full force. The shot can be summed up by what we heard next from the pitch which brought a smile to my face, “Now that’s what I call a shit shot”. tftc

Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. TFTC Kadanga_Krew ¥264 days. #1724 finds
We had been out with Slow Puncture and Orange Crew today, after completing our walk in record time we were wanting to make a few more finds while we had the time. Together Mrs SP and us worked out a few caches neither of us had and they were now our targets.

A Wacky Wednesday out and about around these parts with Wombles&Co today and after our previous cache, a loo stop was requested. Hmmm where out here could there be one?
Looks like this cache may be a good place to start, it's a sporting spot..... and of course there's an added bonus of a cache at the same time.
So we pulled up and headed over to the building. Hmmm just a water tank and a locked door here. Well that's not going to help. Though the bush lemons seemed to be growing well out the back of the building.
Oh well let's grab the cache and then go find amenities elsewhere. So we wandered over only to find..... a windyloo! Woohoo a tiny water tank and what I thought was initially a small other tank turned out to be a loo after all.
It was much "relief" when the toilet could be used AND we got a cache right by it!
Thanks for the cache Kadanga_Krew.

Out with 1minniemoo filling in mutual map gaps.
We looked around the building at first checking to see if there was a bathroom then realised it was over here near the cache!
That’s the tiniest tank stand I’ve ever seen!

Just come down the hill from Mt Glorious after a rainy rainforest walk. Shook off a couple leeches since but no blood let, thank goodness.
Deserted cricket ground - lucky, as would be very hard to search if the sports people were here. Squeezed through the gate and crossed the field to the tanks.
Soon found the little cache, not sure of the purpose of this tank.
Retraced our steps trying not to make eye contact with the prowling plovers.
