Prachtige wandeling door het regenwoud. De cache werd dankzij de hint vlot gevonden. TFTC.
The interesting walk around Mossman Gorge was Upgrade by a cache. That one was not even really hidden. Thanks for hiding.TFTCmagicchicken
Not enough time to do the complete roundwalk, but enough time to go for the cache and sign the log. Thnx!
We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to darlek_caan for the generation of this nice cache Mossman Gorge (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. I walked the entire circuit, and only on the way out did I remember the cache. On my second walk, my phone battery died (thus losing my cache tracking app). Yet remembering the hint, I searched all locations along the track matching the hint, and "yes" the cache was found.
Looked for awhile until muggles arrived. Was a bit worried about the vines biting! Forest is dry even though we got a shower of rain. Greetings from Canada. Tftc
Looks like the container has been nibbled a bit. It has a few holes in it now and the log is a bit damp.
Encore une belle rando dans la fort tropicale et pour une fois une cache sur le chemin, top
Out on a lovely walk in Mossman Gorge, this place isvjust marvellous! There wasvalot of walking traffic, so we did the "take a picture of me sitting next to the tree" and got the cache without anyone noticing. Tftc in this brilliant spot!
Found it during the hike through the gorge. The hint was very useful making it a quick grab and go. Some people passing were a bit worried what i was doing though...Tftc!
10131 - 11:40Together with team IkZie.A bit of looking with the GPS going in all directions bit with the hint a good search. Thanks for the cache
During a wonderful tour through Mossman Gorge we , Team Saturnus and we, found this cache. TFTC
Greeting from Wales. We have now arrived in Northern Queensland on our Australian odyssey staying in Port Douglas so today for a relaxing day we headed to Mossman Gorge and a lovely wander through the rain forest. We go to this cache so whilst the rest of the family played delaying tactics I hopped off the path and soon spotted the cache. Just about signed the fragile log and replaced as found. A note to the CO that the cache box has a couple of holes in it and could do with replacing. Thanks for the cache.
Tak for en fin cach, her er lidt af udsigten fra klftenMange hilsner fra DK
Thanks for this one! We found this cache last week, I forgot the log until today. First searched at the wrong spot but then discovered it quickly at the second option. Some nice spiders are around here, too.

I was here 16 years ago and now we are following in our footsteps. At that time, however, I still knew about geocaching only theoretically. Beautiful tropical forests around small streams. Bisoutje and I are on a roadtrip through a big chunk of Australia with a campervan. We stop at various places to see as much of this beautiful country as we can. We are camping in Mossman for 2 nights so a visit to the Mossmam Gorge cannot be missed. We parked at the parking place near the visit centre and decided to walk up the road instead of taking the bus. We did not bother the people in the Aboriginal comminty and neither did they bother us.We hiked the 5km trail and enjoyed the spectacular views over the gorge. The trailhead was easy going and a nice stretch of the legs. A previously uploaded photo helped me to locate the cache which was then a quick find. Fav point for the Mossman gorge!
Awesome little spot. Easily found by , using the hint as there were so many muggles and also to avoid bush bashing. Kids thought this was fantastic. Had to be seated numerous times making out we were taking a breakYes something is having a good go at the container. The corner was broken so log was damp. We didnt have anything to assist with that on us, but we could still Sign the cache. TFTC
Found a location matching the hint and previous logs, and after waiting for several groups of muggles, Boot braved the spiky plants, but came out empty-handed. It was a little too busy today to have a good search around. Wont log as a DNF because we werent able to have a thorough look.
Our tour group came out to Mossman Gorge for a tour of the place. I took advantage of the time to grab a find.
Thanks for the Cache!
So frustrating! I noticed this cache on the map a couple of days ago after visiting relatives in Cooya Beach ( we are starting in Cairns on holidays from Ballarat) and knew I wanted to come up here to check out the gorge sometime this week. Well today we decided to come up and do a Daintree River Croc cruise first up and drive up to the gorge on the way back. It was only once we hit the Carpark and the visitors centre that we found out you need to buy a bus ticket to get to the gorge so I completely forgot about the cache. Had a good walk around with Mrs P and went up as far as the suspension bridge thoroughly enjoying the river and the rainforest. Once back in the car and working out where to cache next I noticed this one on the map and kicked myself for forgetting it .. we were only a matter of a few minutes walk away! Oh well, this will be the cache that got away! But loved being up here anyway! Thx for the experience!
It was a bit over and under, and thorny vines, but it was there. Nice little hike through the rainforest. Thanks for the cache.
Took the bus, did the loop through the gorge. Early morning, very quiet, no rain, amazing walking track. These gorge are really beautiful. A must to do. And the people from the gorge are very nice.At GZ quick find. +1 favourite point.
What a great place to visit after leaving the Red Center! Hard to believe were still in Australia. Had to do a bit of scrambling and ducking to make the grab. TFTC
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case darlek_caan, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
On my way with Oopie in Australia we are douing always some caches. All COs thanks for making this caches.
Great cache! I must say though, I don’t know what the conditions were like when first placed, however, be prepared for thorny vines and plants to weave through. And if a women wearing just a sundress to cover their swimsuit, be prepared to flash all the muggles

Departed Melbourne a couple of weeks ago and travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel.
Finally made the northern warmth and the Cape and I'm loving it
We have been to the cap and are on our way home now having a few more adventures as we go.
Today we are leaving Mossman and heading for Cairns for a few days but we dropped into Mossman Gorge for a wander on the way. I saw this one was here but forgot to save the cache offline, damb, but then I got a brief signal on the last peak befor the track junctions and managed to download the info required for a smilie
**Thanks for placing this cache darlek_caan**

What a beautiful walk amongst the luscious rainforest with many muggles too. We quickly found when there was a break in the traffic. Picked up the trackable to move on. TFTC
There was even a scorpion inside ! Thanks for the cache on a beautiful path. Greetings from the Netherlands
Interesting and fun to find…..left a Lego player from California 95415…grabbed a revel bug and left one too!
Found with Mr MR who struggled a bit to get to the cache for me. The gorge was one of the highlights of our trip, thanks for putting a cache here. Thanks darlek_caan, a favourite from me too.
I got caught up in some pesky Wait-a-While but managed to free myself.
Thanks darlek_caan, a favourite from me for placing a cache in this stunning location.

While the others stayed a bit for a swim, I did a quick hike up here. Reaching the thing was a bit trickier, but no problem in the end, except that one of those treacherous mini-lianas got me with their hooks and did not want to let me go. But that was resolved quickly as well. Tftc!
Thanks darlek_caan for putting this cache a little bit further than our "guides" would have taken us. Thanks to this we did the whole 2km circuit walk with our little geo kids. Good effort, good reward.
Gz is a bit run down. Container cracked, log being chewed by something, still dry but I'd say needs maintenance.

•217• Something has definetly been here and thought it was food, but still intact and not wet. Replaced slightly more hidden than found it.
Lovely area! It is possible to walk from the carpark if you're up to it, You dont have to take a shuttle.

We explored the Mossman Gorge today and found this cache. Thanks for hiding this one and as always TFTC, MumDad2000
Found walking the Mossman Gorge. Container needs some TLC and as I didn't have a pencil, I couldn't mark the damp paper. So took a picture!
Quickly found on the loop walk. Hadn’t saved cache so had to figure out without any information or signal, used gps. TFTC
Beautiful walk through the jungle.
Unfortunately the can is a little bit broken and a logbook is missing.
Still, I left a TB. It seems weather resistant. And I hope it will travel further on soon.

Found this Cache during a nice hike. Forgot the pen in the car, so I had to sign with ecologic ink: Leafes Tftc
Thanks daklee_cann. Lovely spot. Up from GC for a few days. Managed to retrieve and return cache without issue.
found on our yorke to york trip. (top of Yorke Peninsula, South Australia to tip of Cape Yorke, Queensland )
so many great experiences and beautiful locations. how fortunate we are to live in this wonderful, free and varied country!
thank you to all cache owners and those who helped out with maintenance and especially to darlek_caan for this particular smilie
we enjoyed the Dreamtime Tour and then the rainforest circuit that included this cache. beautiful vistas of rainforest in dappled light snd water tumbling or trickling. finished off with a refreshing dip in the gorge pool. what more could anyone want? a fav point from me

Today we were exploring the Daintree as we hopped on the ferry and cruised up to Cape Tribulation, stopping for some lovely icecream and caches along the way!
We made a stop on the way back to Cairns at Mossman Gorge so the others could have a swim while I focused on the traditional here.
It's an absolutely gorgeous walk to get here and so peaceful away from the people who have largely all congregated at the swimming area.
I enjoyed the stroll through the trails and over the particularly swingy suspension bridge up to the cache's big rock.
Two steps off the trail and it was soon spotted with ease.
The container has been chewed up a little, and only two notepad pages were comprising the logbook, though they seemed dry they had a few names on them, so I added a spare logsheet to keep it going.
Thanks to darlek_caan for the hide here!

Today we visited this gorgeous. We were amazed at the number of cars in the carpark yet it didn't feel that busy up on the tracks. A nice walk and a quick find. The container has a bit of rat damage but otherwise cache is in good condition.

Our most important stop on the road from the Daintree to Port Dougo. Came for the cache, stayed for the swim. Or two swims actually. Lovely spot on what barely seems like a Winter's day. Hadn't been to Mossman Gorge before. Really loved it
Didn't have a pen, so took the attached photo.
Cheers

Last day in the Douglas Shire and decided to do this walk. Beautiful walk in the forest. Tftc
Nice to find a cache while enjoying this stunning area. Great walk, great location. Thank you
Enjoyed walking the circuit through the rain forest, saw two pigs and a black snake and found this cache very easily. All in all a nice event.

Found by Flukey71. Great nearby swimming hole, well worth a swim after walking the 2km circular track. The indigenous tour was also well worth it for some local stories and knowledge.Yalada
Brilliant easy find, luckily we were free from muggles for long enough to grab it! Thanks so much for this cache on this fabulous walk!
A lovely visit to this beautiful rainforest area.
After taking the shuttle bus, we came for a walk through the rainforest, past the gorge which had plenty of water in it, and then on the pathway to GZ.
After signing the log, we continued the loop around.
Thanks

GC Widow and her family suggested Mossman Gorge for today. I tend to avoid tourist traps when on holiday but the lure of a cache was too strong!
The box, although nibbled at the corner, is keeping the contents dry. Thanks for a cache in a place like nothing in Europe.

Having completed the dreamtime gorge walk, went for the another loop walk to find the cache. There was no reception, so I was glad that I got the coordinates before heading out. At GZ, the find was quick and the muggles weren’t a concern either. TFTC
With such a "must do" location and a cache with lots of FP's this was definitely on our "to do" list on our way back from Cape Trib. thoroughly enjoyed the walk through the rainforest and the gorge was spectacular. Found the cache easily enough with the great hint. I cleaned up the container a bit and put a small bit of paper in to serve as a temporary logsheet for the time being. Worthy of another FP for the whole journey. TFTC
The cache is back! Seems to be repaired/replaced with a bigger box, easy and fun find. Lots of muggles around, so I took a quick photo as proof.
TFTC. Enjoyed Mossman Gorge and the walk to the cache. Unfortunately log was saturated and could not be signed. Photo sent to CO.
Container has holes in it and the log is saturated and cannot be signed. Needs replacement
Good find. Needs maintenance as mentioned. Could use a sealed container. If you plan on finding it, bring one with and swap the notepad.
Visited Mossman gorge today and what better time to visit a rainforest than when it’s raining!
It’s a beautiful place and we enjoyed our walk even though it was wet and muddy. We found the cache but the log book was saturated and we were unable to sign.
JDavs got stabbed by a wait-a-while vine on the way out, currently waiting to see how bad it’ll be. Tftc

TFTC,
We are going to the 2022 Townsville MEGA and have taken the long way there. Day17 and today we went to the Northeast corner of our triangular trip.
Visited trackables and added a favourite.
Always felt uncomfortable about paying anything to do a Geocache. Not knowing why they have it, we went along with it. This was the cache of the day and while taking the walk we learnt why. A win for the environment.
So hot today, we both perspired but enjoyed the walk.

Day 17 on our adventure to Townsville and. Today was a trip up to this area, arrived and took the bus trip up to the Gorge, on this very hot day. Wazza9 name the quick find in between muggles. Stamped log and replaced. Thanks to darlek_caan.
After doing the indigenous tour we went for the walk in the park. The river was great but lots of people
