Found it easily after an interesting climb up the hill which left us wondering whether we missed an easier pathway?
Cache is in bad shape, needs a new container and zip lock for the logbook.
Took nothing, left a new sealed Lego Minifigures for the next to find, you deserve it after that climb

Early morning rise for me. Still 9⁰C. Beautiful day for walking. Tried to find the suggested trail, much better access was found at S 23° 41.216' E 133° 53.329'. I tried to follow the trail to the right, took me 80m near gz but will leave the rock scrambling to the residents. Back tracked to follow the better trail, it was much easier. The views are spectacular!
Thank you for the cache malikaal. The container is very crumbly. Message me if you're OK with me replacing, I'm sort of local on and off.
If you're in Alice Springs, I hope to meet you at my event on the 10th May - GCA7GY8.

Another damaged cache container. Easily found but in need of tlc! Incredible view though, and worth the amble!!
Cache 17 for the day. Left Alice at around 10 am. It was now close to 4 pm. I had been caching along the trails around the Telegraph Station for the day on foot. I couldn't resist the climb up here even if I didn't have any water. I followed the goat tracks as suggested and it made for a nice easy rise. Saw some campers below with about 4 tents erected. Not sure if hikers or homeless locals. I had been without water all day, stopping twice at the telegraph station to sink 1 litre straight down. It was quite a hot day. A quick find. The cache is broken and needs to be replaced. I kept walking along the rise to see the views of Alice and then followed another goat track to the white boxy bunker like structure on the street below. I poked my head inside but it looked like someone was living in there - thankfully they weren't there when I looked. A great day and this was a great near finish. Anzac Hill to go now. TFTC I got off to an early start on this one and was rewarded with seeing a few wallabies.
I had looked at this cache several times and postponed it due to its terrain rating. We have done quite a bit of clambering up rocks in the East and West Macdonnells, so this cache seemed achievable based on the climbs we had already done. It was not nearly as difficult as I expected. The cache was found easily and the view was wonderful.
Went to the view first! Noice!! Then found the cache. It’s a bit battered by everything in it is nice and dry. TFTC.
A nice walk up here this morning and the treasure was found. The track was quite easy to follow from the suggested starting point. Log signed and returned as found. Thanks Malikaal. Fav from me.
A good climb if you follow the path. Now to see what the view is at the top.
What a journey to get here. I've travelled over 3000km since last night, walked in the rain in Melbourne and now I'm sweating like crazy in the winter sunshine of Alice Springs.
The journey up this hill was bad enough and now I have to find my way down again without slipping.
Got to award a Fav because of the location, the weather, the exercise, the view and the fun factor. Thank you

Nice start to last day in Alice! Found some other foot steps. Larapinta Trail hike a 12 day highlight followed by a few days of Desert Song Festival. TFTC
The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 8. I spent the day around Alice Springs collecting some caches we did not get to last year. I found some very rough roads along the way.
The walk to the walk cache and the wallaby rise cache was fun and both were nice places to visit.
Thanks.

19 April 2017 2:22 PM Found with Gonefishen07 on our little adventure to Alice Springs. Thank you for taking the time to place the cache and show us this beautiful area.
Found with Hearse068. We had a fun time travelling around the area. Still here for a couple of days with car issues so best go find some more treasure. Thanks for the effort taken to place this Cache TFTC well this was a marathon effort missed the track in the first time climbed up side the thought bugger we can't get to top so after walk it all the way around the base made Hearse068 walk back to the track and up the hill. Think she was ready to murder me. Turned this cache into a 3 km walk I think. Seen this cute little critter hiding under the cache.
Headed out early with iluvtrekking to grab a few caches before attending the 'Farewell' Event. Steep scramble to this one. Thanks malikaal
Found with richlink while in Alice Springs attending the Red Center Experience Event.
Thanks malikaal we enjoyed finding all the caches along our travels.

Caching my way from Adelaide to Alice Springs via Uluru for the Red Centre Experience event. Today was day five and our first full day in Alice Springs. After a quick coffee and meetup with people at event GZ, my travel companions AlphaDeltaIndigo, Moneydork, semik and I grabbed everything we could.
I took the hard way up to this one, arriving before my companions, to be greeted by a kangaroo. He wasn't thrilled by my presence and took off. The views up here are spectacular. A favourite point for picking such an fantastic GZ.
This was find number 5 of 19 for the day for me. TFTC malikaal!

Caching in the Alice Springs and Eastern MacDonnell ranges region for the long, long weekend all thanks to the Red Center Experience geocaching event in Alice 13-17th April 2017. My apologies for a generic log, but I'm notorious for not logging my caches. I am just trying to get up-to-date so someday I can celebrate milestones again. cheers and thanks to all for their efforts to make the hide findable and most in a location worthy of a visit without geocaching (but I'm glad I got a smiley too!)

We have arrived in Alice for the Red Centre Experience Event and together with Whitewebbs we spent the morning caching and this was one of the caches we found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Having arrived in Alice Springs with DOC-WHO late last night, we headed out today to explore the area and find a few local caches. We went in search of a few of the higher terrain caches in the area, and this one looked good. We parked below and headed up the steep but fun climb, and it was a great view standing on top. At GZ, we located the cache and enjoyed the view for a few minutes before making our way back down. This was a fantastic cache which we enjoyed.
Gratias malikaal.

Found before the red centre experience event started just south of the gap at a beautiful blackshirte Park. Found on a lovely warm April morning with brother geobrother after arriving in Alice the previous day.
Nice walk and really enjoyed our stay in Alice Springs NT and the NT for nearly two weeks.

Travelling around Australia and now super excited to be at Alice Springs for the Easter Geocaching Event.
Mr Felix jumped on his bike this morning to tackle some of the trail caches. Seems he had to lock up the bike a few times to climb a few hills. An enjoyable morning out and about in a great area.

A beautiful spot. My muggle-friend knew the path so it was no problem to reach the cache. TFTC and the nice walk.
Wow, what a fun climb up here. We made our own path part of the way up before finding a rough but well worn path up to gz and further on to the top. A nice sense of achievement after completing this one. Enjoyed the views. TFTC
Found with SpatialRiq. Enjoyed the view to the north. Good way to help ease the leg muscles after WRC16. TFTC!
The mountain goat of team JACS looked at this with glee and sprinted off up into the hill with not a thought that he was only wearing thongs on his feet. A quick call to mum from the top to say he nailed and found the cache. Log signed and the mountain goat safely back on solid flat ground. TFTC!
A nice evening climb to check on this hide. Spotted many wallabies, one of which had a broken leg. Looked like an old injury and still managing to hop around on the good leg. Replaced the container and left a travel bug. Happy hunting
When I got to this cache I was on a mission to find it as quick as possible since I was now on a bit of a time crunch. I charged directly up the hill following my compass. At the top it looked like that might not have been necessary, but it was fun nonetheless. I was able to achieve my goal, finding it almost as soon as I got to GZ. I tried to follow what looked like a trail back down the hill but I must have made a wrong turn because the terrain quickly got worse then the climb up! This worked out though because it put me closer to town then I would have been otherwise.
TFTC. Fist time back here in many years. Our kids used to play in these hills long before geocaching had started. We lived in Giles St for 30 years.
First find for some little friends today - beautiful view!! Thanks for a great cache
Tough 45 metre climb, especially during a *really* hot afternoon.
Thanks for the cache.
Hello from France,
SlackMac.
Thanks for the cache.
Hello from France,
SlackMac.
My stroll around the Telegraph Station Historical Reserve today brought me to the nearby "Why drive when you can walk" geocache
This cache lay in almost a straight line between where I was standing and my hotel
So off I charged along the direct track to reach GZ
There was one small obstacle in me way ...
... "Who put that cliff there !!" [:o]
I scanned the rocks for a possible way up and soon spied one.
Off I scampered through the scenery.
A strategic detour was in order when I wandered a bit too close to a 'campsite', but I got a friendly wave from the occupants as I passed by
A fun scramble up the rocks finally delivered me to the top of Wallaby Rise.
And what a strange vista greeted me.
I had been wandering around for nigh on six hours out in the scrub with nary a sign of civilisation.
As I topped the rise, Alice Springs came into view [:o]
A bit of a surprise
The cache was soon found, and I continued my stroll across the ridge to see if there was a way back down on the south side
TFTC and fun detour to a place that few touristas ever get to see [^]

Great location for a cache. From the top, we have a beautiful view and we saw a familly of wallabys on the way. There was a mother with its Joey in its pouch. We are in vacations from France and the kids were very happy to see the animals.
Thanks for the cache. We give it a favorite point for the view and the wallabys.

Made hard work of this one after going the wrong way for a bit. Magnificent views from top made it all worthwhile though. Great spot for a cache. Thanks
This was my first venture into geo caching. Great climb and an awesome view as a reward!
Out for a new walk with the geodog, why not go up this hill to see what we can see. Another beautiful sunsets over the Alice.
This will be a good one to bring the nieces and nephew up to when they next visit.

Arrived in Alice late this afternoon. Headed up the hill at 7:30pm. Think it was probably best in the dark so I couldn't realise how high I was. Thanks for the cache malikaal.
We were in two minds about wether to attempt this one in the dark or not...glad we did ....awesome views of Alice after a steady climb....cheers malikaal
We went to the NT for a week and this was one of the 50 caches we found with our family. Thanks.
This was our third cache in Alice Springs. We parked and considered the rise in front of us. I'd forgotten to load topo maps onto my GPS for this area, so we just decided to go at it. It got pretty steep as we neared the top, with a bit of scrambling involved. When we finally got to the cache location it was an easy find. We had some good views across the country side. I also spotted a less precarious way down. We followed that and got back to the base of the hill easily. Thanks
#2009- This was a really tough walk up- think we did the 4 terrain up and a 2 terrain back, as we decided not to come back the same way. Love these rocky hides. Circled the hill and came down the back. Picked up a croc TB to move on. Thanks
Quick find. Lived here 12 years and have never climbed Spencer Hill before. TNLN. tFTC
Gut gefunden. Eine sehr schöne Aussicht hat man von hier oben! Leider kein Wallaby gesehen.
